"Quite frankly, I don't care either. You're either new on the block, or left over from the old."
"For the sake of introduction, I'm willing to listen to your reasoning for encroaching on our turf twice. And why the hell one of your ships was using our weaponry."
“Good fu*king evenin' to ya' as well.
Listen, I heard some rumors but I could have never imagined that you're so straight to the point. With all due respect of course.
As you've put it yourself. We're what's left of the old. We're the Unioners. I'm sure you've heard of us. The Ligas are dead and we run the things in Rheinland these days.
What ya' saw was a Grendel, loaded to the brim with relics heading to New York. Your boys pay a good price for 'em and since we are the bridge from Corsair omicrons to Liberty, we figure we might as well take part in the activity.
When it comes to guns? Unioner guns might be good if you're in need of weaponry but you shouldn't go into details with them, since they ain't really some engineering marvel. More of a few pipes welded together that fling plasma around. So, we use whatever weapons we can get our hands on. In this case, they were yours. And let me tell ya' they really do pack a punch.
Did I clear everythin' up? You seem like someone open to ideas, so how 'bout we give each other a hand, ay? Need anythin'? "
"Have a good evenin'."
The man salutes with the cigar in between his two fingers as the stream cuts off.
"Your boy was caught moving those to Fontana. Those aren't /my boys/, and that isn't /New York/, since you're left over from the old I'm going to assume you ain't too bright."
"Do I need anything?"
"Yeah, and I'll make it clear. We see you on our turf again for /any/ reason, using our guns, or even breathing in our general vicinity, without asking permission. And I'll be sending Unioners back to Pacifica in cardboard f*cking boxes, missing their organs, with our symbol stamped in their blood on the side of the packaging."
"So do us both a favor and make the necessary arrangement."
The stream starts and the director can be seen laughing but stopping eventually. His face slowly gets more and more serious until he is no longer showing any positive emotions. He speaks coldly, with a bitter aftertaste.
“Good evening.
Perhaps I've said something wrong. Excuse me. I'll try rewordin' everything. We're both honorable men after all, ay? However don't mistake this for a sign of weakness, I just possess the mindset that there is no need for unnecessary violence. Let me say it all again.
We're the new Unioners. You might remember the old ones? The Syndicligas? They were a disappointment to the people of Rheinland and their unreasonable actions triggered so much bloodshed that it's almost unimaginable. One of their screw-ups was the 'fu*king up' of our relations to Rogues. So it's understandable that you might be offended by my tone. I'm trying to 'un-fu*k the fu*king up' of our relations so please bear with me on this.
We assembled a new leadership, in which the volk trust, and it is that same leadership that believes that rebuilding ties with you would be mutually beneficial. This ain't no turf war. With all due respect, we find no interest in Liberty space apart from supplying it with the goods provided by the Rheinland black market.
The transport that you met was avoiding navy patrols in Texas and had to swerve off track to find a temporary shelter. After the patrols left the vicinity, the transport found its way to New York where we unloaded the relics on that junker base. It was said that the buyer is a Rogue.
You see? I ain't as stupid as you might think.
When it comes to guns. We paid for those on Buffalo. Fair and square.
We've both seen what war does to groups like ours. WE think it should be avoided at all costs, so please reconsider."
The man presses a button on his dashboard and the stream ends.
"I'm not sure what part of what I said made you think this was a negotiation."
"This isn't about livelihoods. I could slaughter your people by the dozens, or even hundreds. Casualties on either side of the line would mean nothing to me whatsoever."
"But as you said, f*cked up relations. Plenty of us want you dead by virtue of being a Unioner. So let's skip the appeal to honorable nature that doesn't exist. The pleasantries, the talk of war and how badly our peoples would be affected. You're a man of a peace, let us see how devoted you are to the idea."
"I'll make the guidelines for "un-f*cking relations" /crystal/ clear. You will follow them to the letter."

It has been a while since we've last spoken via this signal. Despite it, I come here again asking for a favor. This time it is truly mutually beneficial. A rumor has it that an enormous spike in interest for blood diamonds will appear in the following few days.
Since we source the commodity, we would like to ask for approval to send heavily armored convoys through Liberty space to Manhatten. But since there is nothing in it for you I will offer you a deal. Soon we will create a channel that will serve as a bounty board, financed by the Direktorat. There we will award you for every kill that you score on a vessel that isn't supporting Unioner Convoys. Of course that includes the following groups:
Outcasts, HS>Hyperspace Starfleet
Corsairs, DTR, [TBH]
Junkers .:J:. Junker Congress
Coalition, SCRA
Unione Corse, UC/-,
Liberty Police, LPI-, =LSF=, Liberty Security Forces, 46th|, 5th|, Liberty Navy
Of course, I would understand if you wouldn't want to threaten your relations by shooting some of those targets, but for the most part, it will be a deal worth accepting. We'll also hand out rewards for escorting Unioner convoys to the destination. Let me know what you think.
Safe skies to ya'."

"Interesting."
"Asking permission, offering intel and payment. Very interesting. Apologies for the delay, the Hellhound is otherwise currently occupied. Though since you came to us first on this matter, I see no reason why permission for your shipment could not be granted, with the bonuses we will receive from it."
"I will need to make note however, that naturally, we won't be hunting Outcasts or Junkers for what should be obvious reasons, and if we find you behaving offensively towards them while guests in our home, things may very well end badly for you."
"We find the proposal agreeable beyond those points. Good day, Hollywood."
"We've been rather occupied up here in Liberty, safe to say these restrictions slipped my mind."
"In fairness to your new group. So did you."
"Which means you haven't done anything particularly bothersome to get my attention or distract me from important matters."
"It's a miracle, really."
"I'll leave the previously agreed upon terms of Rogue territory attached, In case you have anything you want to talk about."
"However, I do actually have need of something you can provide me. Void of a direct link to the Ring and in name, DHC. In addition to wanting to kill most Junkers I meet. I require Black Market Munitions, in quite a large number."
"Fifty Thousand to be specific."
"We will handle the transport side of things."
"Let me know."
