As someone already mentioned before, LN is busy in Vespucci, there's LPI and LSF, why would they waste manpower and resources on some smugglers while being in middle of a battle?

this event isnt an rp focused event. as you can see in the description of the OP no RP consequences are allowed. this is meant to be fun and activity stirring for the server.

The following clarifications/changes have been updated in the OP:
Quote:ZOI is extended to all unlawfuls for the duration of this event. This means that a member of one group will not have to wait to be shot before attacking a member of another group while in Liberty or if encountering an unlawful carrying event commodity anywhere in Sirius, no matter what their ID restrictions might be. Remember to RP and provide reasonable time for a response.
Quote:Group Seven: Liberty Lawfuls Liberty Police ID, LPI-, =LSF=, Liberty Security Force ID, 46th|, 5th|, Liberty Navy ID
Since Liberty Lawfuls will be involved in this event regardless of bonus or kill tracker, it seems pointless not to include them in both. I appreciate the respectful feedback and the encouraging words about the events in general. Your points were well received and I thought it best to act accordingly.
it's far too bloated to be manageable for the lawfuls.
1: New York has zero chokepoints
2: Freighters can barely be caught with cruise disruptors unless you're in front of them.
3: Anything with 20k of Manhattan can just thrust to the planet and quick dock without caring (can official LPI even stop them from docking since its a freelancer base?)
4: Anyone undocking just docks back when they get shot at or they fly into the planet.
8 encounters, zero RP besides "HI" and a quick dock message.
2 combat encounters, one ran himself in the planet the other just respawned and flew away (couldn't check with cargo)
So all in all, just pain for lawfuls unless there are 20 of them online to cover entry points.
Unlawfulls have nothing to lose.
Thanks of the effort but also no thanks. There is no point fighting against this freighter spam.
Something I noticed when reading the rules, freighters without CD basically don't care at all. They dock during combat to be pvp dead and then they have to be left alone rulewise but they are allowed to trade in the system they are 'pvpdead' anyway.
There is basically nothing lawfuls can do due to the way the rules are and how the game mechanics function.

Event commodities turn you into a combat target, so you're fully pvp dead if you dock with them.
