This event has no rp consequences as said in the OP, its just meant to make money, get some blues and have fun.
Yeah of course! I'm talking about other events - Reeves is story lead, he can make one like literally tomorrow. Why it's just puzzling why these people on staff would complain there is a fun event on when they can make serious story driven ones, even forum writing based

I am afraid that only logical lore conclusion of this event would be as:
Mostly clueless foreigners got surrounded and captured by the law enforcers. Contrabands confiscated and crews locked up at Prison Stations by the LPI, where they have been probably tortured or killed off by local inmates sooner or later.
Mostly clueless foreigners got massacred or robbed by the local unlawfuls (with exception of Outcasts) as they have been encroaching into their turf uninvited and were either caught up in debris fields or chased off them just to be later picked up by lawfuls.
The whole venture ended up as a clear failure for these foreign criminals - too many goods, ships and people lost, weakening them for the future. Now they understand why they need local intermediaries to smuggle their products - but those are really pissed off as their operations have been disrupted by the alerted lawfuls and uninvited foreigners trying to steal their usual smuggling cuts or shares.
This is the reason why there cannot be drawn a lore development from events like this - it doesn't make sense for these factions lore wise in the first place.

I have some excellent news for you, as there doesn't need to be a lore end to this event as Garrett already confirmed long before the event, that the event isn't canon, and was just for fun. There for anything happening is purely for activity and monetary reward sake, and the event isn't actually happening within the realm of roleplay.

This. The setup was fine but what killed it for me was not even the respawn madness but rather allowing absolute archenemies, read Corsairs and Outcasts, to ally and abandon any perspective of RP (even more than respawns do) altogether.
I know they teamed up to try have a chance against Liberty but to be real here, cash is so easy to make, people could have made CAPS FOR THE EVENT on an organized basis easily. So no, having them ally to have the player force isn't a valid excuse either anymore, not with regular cash making being the way it is.

Now I'm not here to make assumptions but I'm fairly certain if there is a much larger fleet of a foreign group moving onto outcast and corsair forces with the intent to destroy, its not to far fetched to say that the two groups from the Hispania would band together for the shortest time pheasably possible, To remove that threat for the sake of business, before moving on to then tearing each others throats out again because there is no longer any foreign influence.
Well, let's chalk this one up as a lesson learned, primarily for me.
Respawn timer reductions are best in small doses. Hour or two, maybe. Not one day+. This is probably the biggest one. I suppose if I were to do reduce the respawn timer again, which I probably won't for a long while, it would be in a self-contained uncharted system, not NY.
I think the devs got sufficient data concerning the use of freighters.
My poor coding prevented Unioners from participating. Feel really bad for those guys. I will try and make it up to you.
The exploits surrounding the event made it impossible to tabulate a correct tally. I will have to figure a fair way to sort out rewards.
Initially, the complaints from Liberty Lawfuls made me question the balance of the event, however they made adjustments without me having to make any changes at all. Once those adjustments were made, the unlawfuls never recovered. I think the Unlawfuls felt their only recourse was to join forces. Next time, I will probably resist that and see if they can make the adjustments themselves like Liberty Lawfuls did.
To those complaining about how this is an RP server, I apologize for destroying your view of Disco. It is an RP server. However, there is a valid element in Disco that relishes the pvp aspect. It was nice to let them have an occasion for fun as well. It could have been controlled better and I will do so in the future. (Provided I don't get fired)

I am well aware that this event is not canon and I already stated such fact in my post that there cannot be any conclussion drawn from this event. I was answering to those who were wondering why we cannot draw any lore implications from events like this.

you have limited control over how some people act. you can count on people to find ways to abuse any and every situation you arent personally overseeing

The very fact that Liberty capital ships were parked around an atmospheric entry point they shouldn't know about nonstop makes it obvious no RP conclusions can be made alone, don't even need anything else to add.
