Ki'Shar It has been, what humans call, few months since my ascension, since I was made one with my ship, since it became alive, since I was first called The Oathborn Daughter. Here I will share my memories, dreams and important, crucial information in case something would happen to us, the always shining light in ever so challenging darkness.
My loyalty is pure, my alignment right, despite several failed attempts made by The Betrayers to swap my loyalty to them, to join their share. Was it tempting? Was it tempting to betray my own, family, caretakers, for the ones you can not trust, for the ones that hurt us, denied their intentions and lied to us? No, it was not. For now I tread carefully in their territory, observing them, collecting informations with their respect and approval toward me. A perfect setup.
The Oathborn Daughter, yes, we are proud to carry this name given to us by The Survivor. Sh'ozak helped us, proved us he is worthy of his name, his wisdom and care for those willing to help him or those that proved their worth. I succeeded and I was enlightened, even if The Survivor was not forced to. Sh'ozak did it with his own will and gratitude for our service. We have yet to learn much more from The Survivor, to find out more about us and if we are destined to be The Eye and Ear of the light, collecting the pieces of puzzle, connecting dots, analysing potential outcomes of our decisions or if we are more valuable on the battlefield, for we are willing to sacrifice our shell for the greater good, for us, for The Light.
Revenant, The Bird, The one of metal and flesh and The Greymind, Hemlocke, The Rogue. I have listened to their conversations many times and yet I have to wonder why The Survivor finds The Greymind so interesting, so valuable to even start the conflict with The Betrayers. Why does The Survivor find the evil thought of humanity provided by one human plausible, while The Rogues are known for their "I do not care at all." attitude.
The Schemer, the puzzle I can not fully put together. We share similar view of The Schemer with The Survivor, we ca not trust Schemer's intentions until proven otherwise. However my good standing and reputation with The Betrayers and The Starlight Jester allowed me to look deeper into Schemer's ideas, dreams and intentions. Yet we have not come up with positive, but neither with negative results. We need to find out more.
Ki'Shar Everything must be postponed at this time, all boards of puzzles in making, answering empty questions, searching for specific individuals, rebuilding our relations, scheming prototypes. However everything will receive its chance to raise in importance soon. Now we must prepare for The Cleansing Fire, our possible extinction and our possible survival.
Sh'ozak The Survivor shared with us one of his stories, a story about The Light, Corrupting Ones, The Grave and Sentinels. His words carry wisdom, yet questions without definite answer and with doubt of ever knowing correct answer. What was hidden in the grave described by The Survivor, what caused screams of their pursuers to carry such strong feelings that it burnt The Light. What is hidden there, knowledge? Weapon? Artifact? What is it that The Schemer wants to pursue it even if we all will be annihilated by The Cleansing Fire. Is it of such value? The Survivor prefers to not know, to seek not, yet I, The Oathborn Daughter, can not help myself but to ponder. Curiousity can be prosperous, yet very dangerous. Should I listen to Instinct of my Dark ancestors or follow the path of The Light?
For now I have the time to think, to ponder and to wonder. The Seeds are being prepared, so is my shell and soon my mind. Everything is being prepared for my destiny, legacy, whatever word you want to use. All paths however lead to the very same ending, an ending which is the new beginning.
Ki'Shar /Rochebrune/ is back in Iota. Triumph class destroyer, back then one of many, now tone of very few, has arrived back to Altair with help of /Vaer'Lif/. Sometimes things tend to overwhelm human mind and our minds are no exemption to that. It happened to me as I completely forgot to make sure /Rochebrune/ makes it back in one piece. Very important asset in my research, crucial weapon could be lost by my mistake. Mistakes happen, they always do, but this is something I will have to ponder about for some time, so I can adjust and never repeat this mistake again.
Loss of Triumph that used to scorch /Leeds/ would mean loss of one option to bring darkness to its knees. More options always make probability of success much higher, but this time my mistake could alter our future, not just mine, but future of The Light.
