Subject: Disciplinary Hearing
Lieutenant Commander Gorski,
Thank you for attending the disciplinary hearing on 29/06/829.
In light of the statements you have made during the hearing, along with consideration of your service record within the Fleet, Command has seen fit to demote you to Lieutenant Commander. As it was explained to you that such actions were not becoming of an Officer of the Forty-sixth, you have taken our recommendations in your stead, which as I pointed out, was testament to your character.
As such, I expect and trust that such actions will not be replicated in the future. You know we expect better, Gorski.
Per the Fleet's Code of Conduct, you maintain a right to appeal this decision and should you wish to do so, then you may notify Command; stating why you wish to do so and any supporting evidence that should be considered in addressing such an appeal. If you do not wish to do so and an appeal is not put forward, then Command will consider this matter closed.
That will be all.

Subject: Participation in UPPERCUT
Good day to you, sir
Recently many officers of our fleet saw the success of the Lieutenant Olson and her Liberty Siege Cruiser LNX-Uppercut. I think I can say for everyone on this matter, all of us are really impressed by the results of this new project, especially, the crew of LNS-Cleveland under my command. I received proper feedback from the crew members of my cruiser and now I'm standing here with a request. While me and LNS-Alaska are involved in Vespucci operation with the rest of the fleet, LNS-Cleveland and it's crew willing to participate in the Project:UPPERCUT to assist Lieutenant Olson with her researches on this matter. Right now cruiser stationed at Juneau shipyard and can be retrofitted to match project requirements in short time. Thank you for your time, Admiral

Lieutenant Commander Dallas,
As I'm sure you are fully aware, Project: UPPERCUT is very much still in experimental stages at the moment.
Once the Officer in Command (OIC), Rear Admiral Samantha Brown, confirms the project and it's corresponding phases are complete, then the Admiralty will complete a full review. At which time, we will further consider your request to apply an identical retrofit to the Cleveland.
Until then, Dallas, remain vigilant in your duties in Vespucci. Commander Gunnarsson, OIC of the Retribution Task Force, will inevitably have further orders for you soon.
Godspeed, Mister Dallas.

Subject: Omicron Nu
Captain Shepard,
Command has received and reviewed your previous Mission Debrief Report.
We find it very interesting as to why such an installation, certainly as remotely located as Jim's Junktown, would fire upon Navy vessels in Omicron Nu. I would like you to monitor the installation as best you can and see if we can figure out who is operating it, maybe then we can ascertain as to why their defences are opening up on the Vermont.
In support of this task, I am dispatching a wing of our Recoil Reconnaissance craft to your location, along with their Command Carrier. They will report to you on arrival and as the senior ranking Officer, you are to take charge and utilise them as required, Captain.
That will be all.

Subject: Report - 10/07/829 | Status Update on Gunboat Procurement
Greetings Admiral,
I apologize for any possible delay in receiving this message. I'm excited to report upon my recent trip to Juneau Shipyard. After reviewing the current status of the reserve stock of gunboats at Juneau, I was able to find one in relative great condition: LNS-Cyclone. Upon review of the vessels history, it seems this one was in service during the war with Gallia and saw action in Leeds. It seems the vessel suffered a crippling shot to it's engines whereupon it was disabled and was towed back to Juneau for repairs. However, due to other ships being deemed higher priority for repairs, Cyclone never received the needed repairs until now. I've had the shipyard workers fit new engines to the vessel and had her rearmed as well. After this refit we've conducted several shakedown runs of the vessel and found the engines and weapons to be in working order. We did however find several small issues with the targeting computer, neural net links, and other small software related issues. We've had the LNS-Cyclone moved from Juneau to Norfolk to complete the necessary updates, which should be finished within the next day. With these updates complete, Cyclone will be ready for active duty. The crewmembers appear to work well together, but I'm eager to put them into action see see how well they perform under stress. We will await at Norfolk Shipyard for further assignment.

Lieutenant Junior Grade Liberty Navy 46th Fleet
As I am sure you are all painfully aware, a group of Zoner capital vessels calling themselves the "Pennsylvania Defenders" have recently taken residence in the Pennsylvania system, citing their apparent right to do so via the now-outdated Treaty of Bethlehem. I was under the impression that there had been an agreement with FAdm. Kemp-Smith that these capital vessels would moor on Bethlehem and apply for permission to remain in Liberty space, and not unmoor from the station until this had been completed.
This is, regrettably, where today's report comes in. While returning from the Vespucci front, Savannah took the liberty of diverting from her route returning to Norfolk to check on the status of these great vessels. To our dismay, however, one was unmoored from the station, patrolling what it claimed to be the No Fire Zone, as per the defunct Treaty. Upon being informed of this fact, the captain refused to budge. Orders were issued for it to leave Liberty at once, which were refused.
As a result, we moved to engage the vessel, utilising tactics developed under Project: UPPERCUT. The capital vessel sustained moderate hull damage, however a rogue and freelancer bomber appeared. The freelancer seemed familiar to the Zoner, as they supposedly knew their pay rate. Both bombers were hired to engage our cruiser alongside the guns of the colony ship, causing severe damage and forcing us to limp back to Norfolk with heavy damage.
The vessel's complete lack of cooperation however has lead me to a single conclusion. It is my sincere recommendation that any Zoner vessel capital vessel claiming to be a defender of the Pennsylvania system be treated as a criminal under Liberty law unless they refuse a single chance to be escorted out of Liberty, and fired upon until their destruction along with any who move to assist them. I have attached logs of our own interaction to this communication.
[24.07.2022 09:57:24] Pennsylvania_Defender: CIC: LNS, you are advised to leave the NFZ of the Zoner station.

[24.07.2022 10:01:03] 46th|LNS-Savannah: Lillian: And you are unmoored.

[24.07.2022 10:02:33] Pennsylvania_Defender: CIC: The Liberty Navy is again oppressing friendly Zoners.

[24.07.2022 10:02:50] 46th|LNS-Savannah: Lillian: You "friendly zoners" are violating liberty law.
[24.07.2022 10:02:58] Pennsylvania_Defender: CIC: This is clearly Zoner space.
[24.07.2022 10:03:11] 46th|LNS-Savannah: Lillian: Get it through your thick skull, the treaty does not exist anymore; it is outdated
[24.07.2022 10:03:40] Pennsylvania_Defender: CIC: The treaty is still valid until one of the two parties start to ignore it.
[24.07.2022 10:03:47] Pennsylvania_Defender: CIC: And this clearly needs to be announced.
[24.07.2022 10:03:54] 46th|LNS-Savannah: Lillian: And you already received communication from the Liberty Government to that effect.
[24.07.2022 10:03:54] Pennsylvania_Defender: CIC: I suggest you leave us alone, Commander.
[24.07.2022 10:03:59] 46th|LNS-Savannah: Lillian: That won't be happening.
[24.07.2022 10:04:47] Pennsylvania_Defender: CIC: While this ship is not made for war reasons, we are well enough equipped to defend outself.
[24.07.2022 10:04:57] 46th|LNS-Savannah: Lillian: As are we. Try us, if you must.
[24.07.2022 10:05:18] Pennsylvania_Defender: CIC: If you don't keep breaking the NFZ, we won't attack you.
[24.07.2022 10:05:38] Pennsylvania_Defender: CIC: Self defense and in the aspect of defending the station against Libertys oppression.
[24.07.2022 10:05:41] 46th|LNS-Savannah: Lillian: We will give you a single chance to leave Liberty space, the house in its entirety, or we will destroy you.
[24.07.2022 10:05:51] Pennsylvania_Defender: CIC: If you will open fire, we will defend ourself.
[24.07.2022 10:06:06] 46th|LNS-Savannah: Lillian: Last chance, we can escort you to the border of liberty space peacefully
[24.07.2022 10:06:22] Pennsylvania_Defender: CIC: Your request has been denied, we are lawfully allowed to be here.
[24.07.2022 10:06:36] 46th|LNS-Savannah: Lillian: No, you are not. You had no permission from the Liberty Government to do so.
[24.07.2022 10:06:43] 46th|LNS-Savannah: Lillian: As a result, we have no choice but to engage.
[24.07.2022 10:06:46] Pennsylvania_Defender: CIC: Please re-read the treaty.
[24.07.2022 10:06:59] Pennsylvania_Defender: CIC: Defense systems online, we will fire only when you fire on us.

Subject: Report - 01/08/829 | DD Blake Wayne van Leer
To the Admiralty,
I write today to report an encounter in the California system while patrolling in my assigned Alpha squadron Executioner. Upon approaching Planet Los Angeles, I happened across an encounter between the DD Blake Wayne van Leer, Cpt. Nicole Hayes of the Liberty Navy first fleet, and Commodore Uhmen of the 5th fleet, as well as two spectators in the form of a Polaris Bison, and a freelancer I have seen around by the name of Gossamer II. Due to Van Leer's forming of the First Armada without the official sanction of the Liberty Government, there appeared to be some tension between him and Hayes of the venerable first fleet. Van Leer requested my identity, however as his security access was revoked I informed him of the classified nature of Alpha squadron's pilots.
The conversation continued shortly thereafter after the arrival of an LSF pilot identified solely as Epsilon-588. Evidence was requested of Van Leer's status as a rogue officer, and was found by Cpt. Hayes in the form of the communication of his termination, dated 13th June 829 A.S. and subsequently reminded him of his due process rights and demanded he stand down and allow the Upholder he was flying to be repossessed by the Liberty Navy, an order which Van Leer subsequently refused.
This dilemma continued for some time, Van Leer continually refusing orders to stand down. I informed him that he was violating section 5 of Liberty law, obstruction of justice, however he still refused to comply. Van Leer's upholder was subsequently destroyed upon continual refusal to comply under threat of violence by LSF agent Epsilon-588.
At this stage, I would request instructions from the Admiralty as to treating Van Leer in any future encounters, as it is doubtful this is the last we will see of him in the near future.

Lieutenant Olson,
Thank you for swiftly submitting both your report and communication to bring this matter to my attention.
Mister Van Leer, formerly a Commodore of the Forty-Sixth, was as you rightly pointed out, Dishonorably Discharged from service on the 13th June 829 A.S. The founding and standing of what is now known as the First Armada, has been done so in an illegal and is unsanctioned, thus the LSF Agent present bringing Van Leer to swift justice, it would seem.
For the time being, I will not authorise any attacks or hostilities towards Van Leer, nor the First Armada. All officers of the Fleet will stand down against any offensive actions until our official stance has been cleared by SECDEF. Talks are currently in progress, but as you may appreciate, Lieutenant, SECDEF is busy. I will open a communication here when talks have ceased and an appropriate decision has been made.
That will be all.
