In any event, you say you aren't looking for forgiveness but ask me for a favor in the same sentence. I'm a little confused by how you seem to think any bridge of courtesy exists between us.
Won't lie, with all the shit going on around Veracruz I'd forgotten about that little refugee convoy. Bridges may be torn up, but that was a good day.
Being frank, I doubt any courtesy exists anymore here. Knight's goons saw to that. Despite whatever sentiment I have left for old allies, the damage is done.
Regardless, the prospect of Knight finding refuge with the Alliance and dragging her roach squad with her doesn't do the mind well. Considering her history, and the sheer fact that she left half of her own people and pretty much all of mine out to dry, is she someone you can trust with a ship like the Harmony flying that transponder, regardless of the accountability?
Keep in mind the fiasco with the LSF, then with the Commonwealth. She's a fucking coward, Cobra. She ran before the Delaware even breached Vespucci space. Should Liberty come after the Alliance with the same possessed ambition, who's to say she won't make a break for it then?
Assuming that capture is accurate (and I'm the one who took it so I'm pretty damned sure it is), then I hope you have contingencies planned for when she leaves your ass flapping in the wind.

I'm loathe to admit it, but you have a point. Now that the impossible has happened and the world is surely bound to end as a consequence, I can concede that the capture is accurate, but you already knew that and said as much.
There's also a certain degree of poetic irony to the fact that you're having to deal with the consequences of Knight walking out on you. Almost like we did when the Legion left us in Bering with an entire Separatist battlegroup that wanted us dead.
The fact that Knight has a chronic case of cold feet's no mystery to me, it's why I'm holding onto a leg warmer in the event that happens again.
I wasn't part of what happened in Bering, or at least I sure hope I wasn't, but it only illustrates the point here. Locklear's nonsense was put to rest the instant it was possible; Man was a menace to mental faculty. He was a tumor to be excised, and while we didn't have the time to recover before the Commonwealth forced our hand, we were rebounding.
Knight and her flunkies are literally dead weight. She dragged Adenauer down, she dragged us down, and I highly doubt she wont go two for three with the Alliance. Hell, if it weren't for her people, this conversation might be more cordial to boot.

It's just strange to me that both Knight's account and the former Executive Commander's line up perfectly. Because apparently, overthrowing the Commonwealth wasn't her idea. See, if he'd actually told you anything about me, he'd probably have told you about my rather prolific use of dirty language, and if you'd been paying attention the transmissions I'd sent three years ago within this channel you'd have come to the same conclusion. Hell, Knight could've told you, but I'll lay off it here and here alone.
