Please pardon me for the extreme delay. I imagine you know how tough it is these days. Both for us and for you.
Now. We have of course historians, especially those specialized on criminology for example, who shows Ancient Earth's... distributors, such as the both of us, are not competing directly between distinct, specific products. They waged "war" for prices, purity, novelty, and to manage to get on the grey line of the law, or simply petty revenge and turf wars.

Nox and Cardamine are fundamentally different. For example, Nox can be used in a medical setting, albeit experimentation has been banned. Why? Because it allows the user to go into deep sleep, and other effect that are subjective to the user. Cardamine on the other hand, is a 100% stimulant, that once taken, you can never go back. However, it allows pilots, or troops, to be more proeficient, and allgedly - from what I heard at least, benefit the human body in terms of longevity, health problems, etc.

What I want to ultimately say is that, despite my and your predecessors, and ancestors: this war has always and is still rather futile. Especially since our ancestors from Earth share many in common with the Hispania's descendents.

With the Gallic Brigands not being active as much as we want them to be, I suppose you cannot have a proxy within Gallia that can reliably distribute, am I right? Of course this is a shot in the dark, we cannot confirm nor deny this information, and they are too useful to break ties.

Stopping killing each other on the spot is an interesting opportunity for our business to expand. As our ancestors from Corsica and America,
But, I was a Doctor before. And, I haven't broke my oath I believe. A soldier's life is a human life, and if it can be at least spared, then shall be it.

So I invite you, and maybe other Outcast factions to Provence. You will benefit of course temporarily from our protection as guests. We do not take xenia lightly - you shall be accomodated as one should be. Either Planet Marseille and its beautiful oceans, or Monte Carlo Freeport and its beautiful scenery* . This will be however your choice.

And finally, I agree to at least temporarily stop killing each other. This truce's terms will be discussed here in Provence. I unfortunately cannot officialize the stopping of the killing between our peoples, especially since we are now a sui generis type of association - both legal and quasi-legal, and fielding a police force in our dear home system, Provence.

Therefore, I will give my opinion to this person, and will ask them to reply here, either cementing the peace treaty, or unfortunately, as part of the Gallic Union, remain at the peace treaty level.

So here is my final word: I welcome you to Provence, and I am eager to meet you in person.

Molto bene, I accept your invitation to your planet in Provence if you will be able to secure a discreet place for my ship and our meeting. I would not be worried about the police, however, as while they might be capable pursuers - my ship will not have Maltese transponder active - for your and my safety, Principal Orsini.

I am glad to you have accepted our invitation. This cements it as the first step toward understanding, between the Corsicans and the Outcasts.

A secure place would be Monte Carlo Freeport. A Freelancer base not far from the Tau-44 jump hole. I propose we meet there, and board shuttles to travel to planet Marseille.

For the meeting, I propose that it will be done inside my mansion, on my private island, the Isula di Mezzu Mare. Of course, there will be no guards and any automatic defense system will be deactivated. We are willing to talk this time, not shoot, so we will do everything to make your stay as safe as possible.

Either way, we will have to go through extensive body checks on Monte Carlo Freeport before boarding the shuttle, to make sure none of us two have another idea.

I shall await your arrival, Madame De Marco. The Taus are dangerous nonetheless, but planet Marseille will soothe your mind by its breathtaking scenery, I hope.
