Good day fellow executive committee members,
It appears we'll still be able to manage the entirety of the Technocracy of Auxo contract after all, but only with strict NDA conditions on all the shipping crews they will accept.
Alexei, please communicate with the parties they've approved and gauge their interest in shipping to Inverness, but be sure to have them agree to NDA terms before disclosure of the client. My vetting seemed to indicate all factions should be fine with business with this group, but there are always hardliners in every outpost...
Until our next encounter,
Jack Gibson

Good day Executive Offices,
In recent days myself and my crew of the AWES-Resolution have encountered hostile vessels bearing the LH~ designation and identifying as the Lane Hacker faction. In all cases due to our assignment in Dublin we were caught supplying the Always Welcome Entertainment Services base near the Battleship Hood, bringing in construction materials for its last item configurations since the last upgrade.
Both encounters thus far have been more conversation than combat - which we trade crews prefer - but it has come at a cost of 1M per visit, and the last one occurred right outside the base, shocking the entire crew at their brazenness.
I will follow-up for a reimbursement request for the funds lost, but I must also recommend security against this group at the base level - we should have the base crew ready to defend nearby ships not if but when these vessels should return.
I've included the comms from both visits and any scans of the ship I was able to obtain discretely.
[07.01.2023 01:49:16] AWES-Resolution: hmm
[07.01.2023 01:49:24] AWES-Resolution: scanners acting funny
[07.01.2023 01:49:40] 2023-01-07 01:49:31 SMT Traffic control alert: AWES-Resolution has requested to dock
[07.01.2023 01:51:28] AWES-Resolution: Glad that cleared up... hate to have to go in for maintenance
[07.01.2023 01:51:38] LH~Disruption: You know the drill.
[07.01.2023 01:51:51] LH~Disruption: Keep those engines at zero.
[07.01.2023 01:51:51] AWES-Resolution: A lane hacker in Dublin!
[07.01.2023 01:51:57] AWES-Resolution: I'm halted.
[07.01.2023 01:52:10] LH~Disruption: Oh I've had my eyes on you for a very very long time now!
[07.01.2023 01:53:00] LH~Disruption: That's quite an odd trip you're taking there.
[07.01.2023 01:53:14] LH~Disruption: Didn't know Interspace had contracts for supplying bases that far off.
[07.01.2023 01:53:22] AWES-Resolution: Some junkers provided our ships some shortcuts to supplies some time ago...
[07.01.2023 01:53:31] LH~Disruption: Interspace vessel caught supplying a base in Dublin system.
[07.01.2023 01:53:36] LH~Disruption: Ain't that a title of a good article, huh?
[07.01.2023 01:53:44] AWES-Resolution: We've come a long way. Some investments are worth the effort of supply
[07.01.2023 01:53:45] LH~Disruption: It'd give me a laugh. And here I am seeing it with my own eyes.
[07.01.2023 01:54:02] AWES-Resolution: Don't know if 'caught' is appropriate term
[07.01.2023 01:54:08] AWES-Resolution: It's a registered base
[07.01.2023 01:54:10] LH~Disruption: Intercepted?
[07.01.2023 01:54:16] LH~Disruption: Perhaps that works better.
[07.01.2023 01:54:35] AWES-Resolution: Maybe encountered has a better ring?
[07.01.2023 01:54:35] LH~Disruption: Looks like a very odd place to put the installation down. Especially if it's registered.
[07.01.2023 01:54:45] LH~Disruption: Encountered. I like it.
[07.01.2023 01:54:55] AWES-Resolution: Bretonia was encouraged by the investment here.
[07.01.2023 01:54:55] LH~Disruption: Corporate lackeys are developing brains.
[07.01.2023 01:55:26] AWES-Resolution: Well, some of your group were of that shade in prior lifes, were they not?
[07.01.2023 01:55:47] LH~Disruption: We developed brains a long, long time ago.
[07.01.2023 01:56:01] LH~Disruption: And thus we decided that this is not the life we're gonna follow for the rest of our lives.
[07.01.2023 01:56:25] LH~Disruption: Anyway, I shouldn't keep you for too long, should I? I bet whoever's paying you to keep that installation working in good -
[07.01.2023 01:56:28] LH~Disruption: - order will be upset.
[07.01.2023 01:56:31] AWES-Resolution: Oh, I'm sure that development wasn't assisted with some learning of corporate ways, even if you chose to part with them
[07.01.2023 01:56:35] LH~Disruption: I'll make a simple proposal.
[07.01.2023 01:57:11] AWES-Resolution: Let's hear this proposal.
[07.01.2023 01:57:17] LH~Disruption: You'll pay me a low toll of a million credits and I'll disappear.
[07.01.2023 01:57:25] LH~Disruption: You won't have to deal with me again on this flight session.
[07.01.2023 01:57:36] LH~Disruption: Hell, you can even forget I existed.
[07.01.2023 01:58:04] AWES-Resolution: Seems like a deal that a transport captain and crew would be wise to agree to when faced with a bomber armed to the teeth.
[07.01.2023 01:58:12] AWES-Resolution: We accept.
[07.01.2023 01:58:28] [2023-01-07] 01:58:20 You have sent 1.000.000 credits to LH~Disruption.
[07.01.2023 01:58:42] LH~Disruption: Outstanding.
[07.01.2023 01:58:54] AWES-Resolution: Funds sent. Glad to see you have no aversion to accepting corporation monies....
[07.01.2023 01:59:00] LH~Disruption: Funds are received.
[07.01.2023 01:59:16] LH~Disruption: Those funds will be put to good, honest use.
[07.01.2023 01:59:25] AWES-Resolution: Glad to hear it.
[07.01.2023 01:59:36] LH~Disruption: I'll be gone now.
[07.01.2023 01:59:48] LH~Disruption: Enjoy your supplying trips.
[07.01.2023 01:59:53] AWES-Resolution: I'm sure our paths will cross again at some point...
[07.01.2023 01:59:56] AWES-Resolution: Thanks.
[07.01.2023 02:00:04] LH~Disruption: At some point, inevitably.
[07.01.2023 02:00:13] LH~Disruption: That point will likely be no time soon.
[07.01.2023 02:00:22] LH~Disruption: I have a word to upkeep.
[07.01.2023 02:00:42] LH~Disruption: I said I will not be bugging you again for this specific shipment session of yours.
[07.01.2023 02:00:52] LH~Disruption: I'm not planning to go against that.
[07.01.2023 02:00:54] AWES-Resolution: Understood.
[07.01.2023 02:01:00] LH~Disruption: Good evening!
[07.01.2023 02:01:15] AWES-Resolution: We are glad you keep to these commitments, if not your prior corporate ones...
[07.01.2023 02:01:29] LH~Disruption: A discussion for another day, that is.
[07.01.2023 02:01:34] AWES-Resolution: Indeed.
[07.01.2023 02:01:44] LH~Disruption: Goodbye.
[11.01.2023 02:35:05] AWES-Resolution: I see we meet again.
[11.01.2023 02:35:08] LH~Disruption: Pleasure to see you again commander.
[11.01.2023 02:35:26] LH~Disruption: How have you been holding up?
[11.01.2023 02:35:28] AWES-Resolution: You are so lucky our base gunners have hold fire orders.
[11.01.2023 02:35:35] LH~Disruption: Has Dublin been treating you well?
[11.01.2023 02:35:38] AWES-Resolution: I've been doing alright.
[11.01.2023 02:35:50] AWES-Resolution: Well enough, I suppose.
[11.01.2023 02:36:09] LH~Disruption: There's indeed a few platforms around here full of weaponry.
[11.01.2023 02:36:15] AWES-Resolution: How's the non-corporate life holding up?
[11.01.2023 02:36:16] LH~Disruption: I can't be the reason for that, can I?
[11.01.2023 02:36:23] AWES-Resolution: Actually, no.
[11.01.2023 02:36:37] AWES-Resolution: They are more for another purpose.
[11.01.2023 02:36:50] LH~Disruption: It is going well, I have to say. Even more well with the funds the likes of yours are providing me with.
[11.01.2023 02:37:04] LH~Disruption: What purpose? Doesn't sound like resources well spent.
[11.01.2023 02:37:11] LH~Disruption: Who's going to threaten you out here?
[11.01.2023 02:37:32] AWES-Resolution: It's been setup as a testing ground for ships as well as a challenging entertainment venue.
[11.01.2023 02:38:08] LH~Disruption: Oh well isn't that interesting. Putting the "S" for Securities in AWES, huh.
[11.01.2023 02:38:26] AWES-Resolution: It's not helping in this case, though.
[11.01.2023 02:38:31] LH~Disruption: I sure am curious what you gentlemen will come up with.
[11.01.2023 02:38:57] AWES-Resolution: We always have new ideas on the horizon.
[11.01.2023 02:39:10] LH~Disruption: Tell me, commander, I have a very glaring question regarding your ship and many others of similar... size.
[11.01.2023 02:39:23] LH~Disruption: What's with all of you refusing to up the armor rating on those ships?
[11.01.2023 02:39:36] LH~Disruption: Do you not enjoy some very valuable seconds more of survival?
[11.01.2023 02:40:00] AWES-Resolution: Well, you see, my strength lies not in armor, but quick wit against my foes.
[11.01.2023 02:40:08] LH~Disruption: Maybe you could just make it to that installation over there if I started shooting and you kept running.
[11.01.2023 02:40:17] LH~Disruption: Quick wit?
[11.01.2023 02:41:06] AWES-Resolution: We at AWES try to work it out with our adversaries through dialogue, most often.
[11.01.2023 02:41:25] LH~Disruption: That sounds like propaganda to me.
[11.01.2023 02:41:32] AWES-Resolution: It's tougher when your enemy outright hates you, though, I must confess.
[11.01.2023 02:41:47] AWES-Resolution: One man's truth...
[11.01.2023 02:42:19] LH~Disruption: The couple of ships flying under AWES colors I see both confirm that claim of yours.
[11.01.2023 02:42:28] LH~Disruption: So I'll refrain from criticizing it too hard.
[11.01.2023 02:42:38] AWES-Resolution: I appreciate it.
[11.01.2023 02:43:02] LH~Disruption: So, the typical proposal?
[11.01.2023 02:43:19] AWES-Resolution: Only typical?
[11.01.2023 02:43:24] AWES-Resolution: I'm shocked.
[11.01.2023 02:43:33] LH~Disruption: Do you expect more demands?
[11.01.2023 02:43:55] AWES-Resolution: I guess not. One never knows what to expect out here.
[11.01.2023 02:44:04] LH~Disruption: What more am I to demand of a transport commander making loops around Dublin in order to supply an installation?
[11.01.2023 02:44:13] LH~Disruption: In -Dublin- of all places.
[11.01.2023 02:44:28] LH~Disruption: The place you were oh so surprised to see a Lane Hacker in, last time.
[11.01.2023 02:45:06] AWES-Resolution: I should have known this place's sparkle would attract the group's eyes.
[11.01.2023 02:45:13] LH~Disruption: I suppose you remember the usual proposal? I do not wish to keep you any longer than necessary.
[11.01.2023 02:45:28] AWES-Resolution: Another 1M for the cause?
[11.01.2023 02:45:30] LH~Disruption: Our eyes, well, mine specifically, are attracted in a lot of things.
[11.01.2023 02:45:41] LH~Disruption: Mainly extortion targets and intelligence.
[11.01.2023 02:46:00] LH~Disruption: That is only half of the proposal.
[11.01.2023 02:46:21] LH~Disruption: Fascinating how you remember your own half but not my half - you know, the one meant to benefit you.
[11.01.2023 02:46:39] AWES-Resolution: My freedom of movement for a time?
[11.01.2023 02:46:54] LH~Disruption: Outstanding.
[11.01.2023 02:47:12] LH~Disruption: You got it all right.
[11.01.2023 02:47:22] AWES-Resolution: You know, my superiors are going to either think I'm working with you guys at some point for my own gain, or...
[11.01.2023 02:47:31] AWES-Resolution: Add more security to this area...
[11.01.2023 02:47:39] LH~Disruption: Oh, do not confuse my kindness for weakness, fear, or cooperability.
[11.01.2023 02:48:06] LH~Disruption: I am merely reacting in such way because you clearly are not in any business related to Liberty in any way shape or form.
[11.01.2023 02:48:21] AWES-Resolution: I wouldn't dare.
[11.01.2023 02:48:41] LH~Disruption: You would not be getting the same treatment if this wasn't... well... "Dublin of all places".
[11.01.2023 02:49:17] LH~Disruption: Besides, if you were indeed working with us we would not be conversing outside the very facility you're supplying.
[11.01.2023 02:49:28] LH~Disruption: I am not a fool, Resolution.
[11.01.2023 02:49:57] AWES-Resolution: Very good point.
[11.01.2023 02:50:12] [2023-01-11] 02:50:11 You have sent 1.000.000 credits to LH~Disruption.
[11.01.2023 02:50:24] AWES-Resolution: I have given your credits as per demand.
[11.01.2023 02:50:25] LH~Disruption: Wonderful. Payment receival confirmed.
[11.01.2023 02:50:36] LH~Disruption: I was never here.
[11.01.2023 02:50:42] LH~Disruption: You merely stopped because your engines malfunctioned.
[11.01.2023 02:51:00] AWES-Resolution: Right - I'll have to convince an entire base crew of that too.
[11.01.2023 02:51:02] LH~Disruption: Have a pleasant evening.
[11.01.2023 02:51:07] LH~Disruption: *She chuckles*
[11.01.2023 02:51:13] LH~Disruption: I'd pay to see that.
[11.01.2023 02:51:14] AWES-Resolution: Until next time
Our supply runs took us to a number of destinations today in an effort to build up our coffers while assisting local upgrade projects.
We departed from Tau-31 to grab a load of Optronic Arrays from Tsushima Depot in Kyushu for base factory upgrades - the trip was nominal and we returned in record time.
While on Convergence Trade Centre base in Tau-31, the docking staff delightfully pointed out that they had received some standard ore supplies over the course of the week that he would handsomely pay us to run out to Bretonia for them. We were happy to oblige.
Our first load of Niobium Ore was delivered to Sprague in Omega-3 for a very nice profit. This also put us in a good position to pick a number of profitable cargos to return with. For the sake of convenience, we just grabbed some Reinforced Alloys from Leicester Shipping Platform for a quick run back through Cambridge to drop the product off at Nebula Technologies, knowing they always need this material. We managed to locate some Gold Ore to take back to Tau-31 so some other crew would have product to run if they were Kusari-bound.
After a brief lay-over, we were again approached by the dock master - Raw Hydrocarbons now were the priority of the day. While I was glad to see the base getting activity with our imports, this guy hopefully was making great sales to other crews too and not just our own! So, off we went again to Bretonia - a cargo hold full Raw Hydrocarbons we paid a bit higher for, due to its mid-way point in the route from its source.
It was shaping up to be another easy profitable run, until we exited the jump gate into Leeds - to be greeted by a disrupted lane and a heavily armed bomber of our friendly Lane Hacker faction.
While no combat took place, there was a lengthy discourse that was full of excitement - I somehow complimented them, they returned the favor with interest in us, there was a quick mention of recruitment into our organization somewhere... serious stuff.
However my wit and small talk did not succeed to get them from asking on the old credits for passage shick. Hauling expensive Raw Hydrocarbons instead of hull segments likely did not help my case, despite my attempts to downplay our margins (which were in all honesty actually lower due to midway pickup, but I digress).
In the end the Lane Hacker ship called Stellarum was paid 5 million credits to keep their guns off-line. I've included the logs of the conversation in my report below.
We proceeded to Cambridge to sell our cargo to Portsmouth Shipyard and picked up some Hull Segments for base upgrades
[18.01.2023 02:42:44] Stellarum: Greetings.
[18.01.2023 02:42:48] AWES-Aspiration: Good day, Stellarum!
[18.01.2023 02:42:58] Stellarum: You are?
[18.01.2023 02:43:05] AWES-Aspiration: Hackers are pretty common sight on the routes these days.
[18.01.2023 02:43:21] Stellarum: Are they?
[18.01.2023 02:43:21] AWES-Aspiration: Just another friendly Interspace traders with wares.
[18.01.2023 02:43:36] Stellarum: Now that is a surprise, isn't it?
[18.01.2023 02:43:55] AWES-Aspiration: It can be.
[18.01.2023 02:43:56] Stellarum: Lane Hackers reminding Interspace lapdogs that no place outside Liberty is safe for them?
[18.01.2023 02:44:04] Stellarum: How treacherous.
[18.01.2023 02:44:45] AWES-Aspiration: Indeed your group does very well to get it's point across.
[18.01.2023 02:44:58] AWES-Aspiration: Many other transports report the same.
[18.01.2023 02:45:00] Stellarum: You are following a very odd cycle of routes, if I dare say so.
[18.01.2023 02:45:18] AWES-Aspiration: I hadn't noticed... how did you?
[18.01.2023 02:45:27] Stellarum: Ah, my friends over at the Ambition and the Resolution have made reports on my activities, I see.
[18.01.2023 02:45:35] Stellarum: I am most complimented.
[18.01.2023 02:45:54] Stellarum: How did I? By tracking you for a very long time now, how else?
[18.01.2023 02:46:18] AWES-Aspiration: Is our ship worth that much of your time?
[18.01.2023 02:46:40] Stellarum: Every asset belonging to Interspace is.
[18.01.2023 02:47:05] AWES-Aspiration: I guess we should also be complimented for such focus on our operations
[18.01.2023 02:47:18] Stellarum: Tau-31, Kyushu, Inverness, Leeds, Gallia, the Omegas.
[18.01.2023 02:47:23] Stellarum: All sorts of different places.
[18.01.2023 02:47:40] AWES-Aspiration: Business is booming and supplies in demand
[18.01.2023 02:47:41] Stellarum: Your expansionism is beyond any expectation.
[18.01.2023 02:47:55] AWES-Aspiration: Although I don't remember Gallia today.
[18.01.2023 02:48:09] Stellarum: Today? Who mentioned a timeframe?
[18.01.2023 02:48:16] Stellarum: I remember it.
[18.01.2023 02:48:27] AWES-Aspiration: Oh you are talking all routes anytime. Understood.
[18.01.2023 02:49:00] Stellarum: Your organization has sparked my interest, Aspiration.
[18.01.2023 02:49:23] AWES-Aspiration: I'm not the recruiter but I can pass information along... if you want
[18.01.2023 02:49:50] AWES-Aspiration: Past experience helps
[18.01.2023 02:49:55] Stellarum: That is not what I meant, corporate lapdog. You are smarter than to not understand what I meant.
[18.01.2023 02:50:11] Stellarum: Or at least you sound smarter. I might be overestimating.
[18.01.2023 02:50:57] AWES-Aspiration: I suppose so.
[18.01.2023 02:51:22] AWES-Aspiration: So how can our crew help you with these interests today?
[18.01.2023 02:51:33] Stellarum: My intelligence tells me your transport is filled with some very valuable stuff.
[18.01.2023 02:51:59] AWES-Aspiration: Value is really in the eye of the beholder... I mean it's all raw.
[18.01.2023 02:52:06] AWES-Aspiration: Needs processing
[18.01.2023 02:52:31] Stellarum: Whichever place you sell them at, likely in Omega-3, pays you a lot.
[18.01.2023 02:52:35] Stellarum: At least I'm willing to bet they do.
[18.01.2023 02:52:58] AWES-Aspiration: It really barely covers the costs, but we get by.
[18.01.2023 02:53:13] AWES-Aspiration: Interspace has really slim margins
[18.01.2023 02:53:28] Stellarum: I see. I'll make a middle offer for you then.
[18.01.2023 02:53:28] AWES-Aspiration: It helps out our customers, so they can afford our insurance.
[18.01.2023 02:53:45] Stellarum: A small toll of a thousand credits per unit of your cargohold and you can proceed freely.
[18.01.2023 02:54:15] Stellarum: I'm sure a pawn to corporate oligarcy is fairly good with logistics and math.
[18.01.2023 02:54:20] Stellarum: You can run the calculations.
[18.01.2023 02:54:33] AWES-Aspiration: Ah, you are now going to make a transport captain test his skills. One moment.
[18.01.2023 02:54:40] AWES-Aspiration: hmmm
[18.01.2023 02:54:48] AWES-Aspiration: Ok...
[18.01.2023 02:54:56] Stellarum: Do you consider the toll too much?
[18.01.2023 02:55:13] AWES-Aspiration: No, it's acceptable.
[18.01.2023 02:55:28] AWES-Aspiration: For passage, we understand. And you have guns.

Captain - AWES-Aspiration All Worlds Enterprises & Securities
Our return from Cambridge consisted of first running a load of hull segments to Nebula Technologies where I was told that they had a special on a Iridium load that absolutely had to get to Sabah Shipyard in Coronado. It made sense, being closer to home base, so we accepted this load and paid out the cost of the product as well as related insurance.
We were just rounding the bend toward our preferred route through New London when we happened upon a friendly Freelancer explorer in a Spatial combat craft. After some small talk about the region, business, and trade, he offered to provide the ship an escort to Sabah Shipyard through a route he assured us was a bit quicker than our routing through Leeds. We took him up on his offer and learned a new route through Ice fields to Coronado as well as made a new contact with the Freelancer Aspen Harlow.
[22.01.2023 05:06:29] AWES-Aspiration: Good day, Aspen.Harlow!
[22.01.2023 05:06:43] Aspen.Harlow: Howdy Interspace. How's the lanes been treatin' ya?
[22.01.2023 05:06:56] AWES-Aspiration: Pretty decent today.
[22.01.2023 05:07:16] AWES-Aspiration: Are you patrolling on contract? Or looking for next trade?
[22.01.2023 05:07:49] Aspen.Harlow: I'm a freelance space explorer, actually. A Bretonian from Newcastle said there was a lot to see there, just came back.
[22.01.2023 05:08:08] AWES-Aspiration: Nice work, sounds like an exciting career.
[22.01.2023 05:08:12] Aspen.Harlow: He didn't tell me the spooky nebula at the edge of the system had *horror stories* about it, though.
[22.01.2023 05:08:40] Aspen.Harlow: It's alright so far. Never a dull moment, but pay is hard to come by.
[22.01.2023 05:08:51] AWES-Aspiration: There are quite a few stories I've heard as well about that area.
[22.01.2023 05:09:12] AWES-Aspiration: What kind of clients do you typically have?
[22.01.2023 05:09:37] Aspen.Harlow: I skirted the edge but couldn't convince myself to go inside. I've had a lot of bad luck with nebulas in the last week or two.
[22.01.2023 05:10:01] Aspen.Harlow: Clients? Well, I haven't actually taken any. I'm definitely in the early days here.
[22.01.2023 05:10:13] AWES-Aspiration: Ah, I'm understanding.
[22.01.2023 05:10:28] Aspen.Harlow: I mostly explore for myself. Used to be a psychotherapist, actually, but owning my own ship was always a dream of mine.
[22.01.2023 05:10:57] Aspen.Harlow: I did some helium hauling for a bit to pay my way with an old crew, but they're off doing transport work now.
[22.01.2023 05:11:21] Aspen.Harlow: How 'bout you? Big House corp, they gotta pay well for good captains, yeah?
[22.01.2023 05:11:38] AWES-Aspiration: I can attest that transport work is at least steady, but not exciting. Unless there are pirates.
[22.01.2023 05:12:04] AWES-Aspiration: We get paid fairly well. Plus there are decent benefit packages with Interspace.
[22.01.2023 05:13:25] AWES-Aspiration: We do have different areas and some executives have called in outside contractors to assist with projects, on occassion.
[22.01.2023 05:13:26] Aspen.Harlow: That's good to hear! They got their own security too, right?
[22.01.2023 05:13:39] AWES-Aspiration: If you are looking to corporate work on a per job basis.
[22.01.2023 05:14:15] AWES-Aspiration: Yes, we try to have as many escort ships as we can, but there's so much traffic, its never enough to cover all trade out there.
[22.01.2023 05:15:21] Aspen.Harlow: It was never somethin' I really thought about, pulling jobs for the big names. I try to stay away from violent encounters, too.
[22.01.2023 05:15:57] Aspen.Harlow: But, I'm also runnin' out of scrip on operating expenses... I'd hate to see the day I end up some space merc, heh.
[22.01.2023 05:16:36] Aspen.Harlow: Got any tips on orgs looking for exploration vessels? That'd save me a load of trouble.
[22.01.2023 05:16:49] AWES-Aspiration: Good question.
[22.01.2023 05:17:07] AWES-Aspiration: There is a research firm in Tau-23 we've done work for.
[22.01.2023 05:17:31] AWES-Aspiration: Goes by the name of Starlight Research Consortium I think?
[22.01.2023 05:17:57] Aspen.Harlow: Can't say I've heard the name. What'd they have you getting up to?
[22.01.2023 05:18:35] AWES-Aspiration: They are deep into discoveries and research, and their onboard equipment needs a special power source.
[22.01.2023 05:18:53] AWES-Aspiration: We have been contracted in the past to make deliveries of these power source modules.
[22.01.2023 05:19:36] AWES-Aspiration: I used to worry about hauling those things - if they shorted out or something I figured we'd be done for.
[22.01.2023 05:20:32] Aspen.Harlow: Looks like transport services has some excitement besides pirates after all!
[22.01.2023 05:21:05] AWES-Aspiration: The only excitment there is my paranoia
[22.01.2023 05:21:29] AWES-Aspiration: But no accidents so they must engineer them well
[22.01.2023 05:21:39] Aspen.Harlow: Heh, we'll call it your well-honed survival instincts, captain.
[22.01.2023 05:22:01] AWES-Aspiration: I suppose one can't be too careful.
[22.01.2023 05:22:16] Aspen.Harlow: You headed towards the Taus yourself?
[22.01.2023 05:22:57] AWES-Aspiration: Yes, to Crayter space. This Iridium gets alot of use in Coronado.
[22.01.2023 05:23:56] AWES-Aspiration: Did you have enough adventures yourself today with the Nebula?
[22.01.2023 05:24:07] Aspen.Harlow: Yeah, I stopped by there on my way, actually, but I haven't been any deeper into the Taus.
[22.01.2023 05:24:55] AWES-Aspiration: Well, we travel the Tau Highway a lot, often running Gold from Dublin to Honshu. Usually it's safe.
[22.01.2023 05:26:10] Aspen.Harlow: Must be safer than Vespucci at least. I got a firsthand look at the Liberty operation going on there. Huge mess of ships.
[22.01.2023 05:26:43] Aspen.Harlow: And about that nebula, nah. I *wanted* to go inside, but the last two times I went into dark nebulas with electrical storms...
[22.01.2023 05:27:12] Aspen.Harlow: I nearly died both times! Something about the #3 and tempting fate came to mind...
[22.01.2023 05:28:17] Aspen.Harlow: If you ever frequent Inverness, just stay away from the jump hole to Vespucci, is all I'm saying.
[22.01.2023 05:28:21] AWES-Aspiration: Best to not make learning that lesson your last lesson. Good call.
[22.01.2023 05:29:03] AWES-Aspiration: We seldom get that way, and part of that is the conflict. It's dangerous, I agree.
[22.01.2023 05:30:14] Aspen.Harlow: The Taus sound like my place to be then! I owe ya for the tip, so I could watch out for you on the way to Coronado if ya want.
[22.01.2023 05:30:57] AWES-Aspiration: I'm not one to turn down a good escort. How much would you like in pay for your services?
[22.01.2023 05:31:56] Aspen.Harlow: Oh, lessee... just covering my expenses, I'd only need maybe 650,000.
[22.01.2023 05:32:28] AWES-Aspiration: Ah, well I believe that will be fine by us.
[22.01.2023 05:32:29] Aspen.Harlow: S'enough to keep me flying a while, if I'm careful.
[22.01.2023 05:33:53] Aspen.Harlow: Roger that. I'll form on you once you send it and your flight plan on over.
[22.01.2023 05:34:10] [2023-01-22] 05:34:10 You have sent 650.000 credits to Aspen.Harlow.
[22.01.2023 05:34:24] AWES-Aspiration: Payment sent.
[22.01.2023 05:35:28] Aspen.Harlow: Alrighty! Will you be headin' through Newcastle?
[22.01.2023 05:35:52] AWES-Aspiration: Sure, we can go that way.
[22.01.2023 05:36:25] Aspen.Harlow: Only askin' since if you wanted to stay on the lanes, best way would be back the way you came.
[22.01.2023 05:36:42] Aspen.Harlow: But, there's a hole in Newcastle that'll get us into the system.
[22.01.2023 05:37:03] AWES-Aspiration: Well, we can still connect though Leeds to Newcastle
[22.01.2023 05:37:37] Aspen.Harlow: Yep, I think it ends up bein' a bit shorter. I'll squawk if I see trouble.
[22.01.2023 05:37:54] AWES-Aspiration: Roger!
[22.01.2023 05:38:53] Aspen.Harlow: I'll be honest... I really had to resist letting the words "Leeds seems quiet" escape me earlier.
[22.01.2023 05:39:19] Aspen.Harlow: That'd have been pretty insensitive. I can't believe something like this happened.
[22.01.2023 05:39:37] AWES-Aspiration: Yes, quite the tragedy
[22.01.2023 05:40:48] Aspen.Harlow: Clear so far.
[22.01.2023 05:41:37] Aspen.Harlow: The lane to Scarborough will put us right near it.
[22.01.2023 05:42:43] Aspen.Harlow: Alrighty, follow me.
[22.01.2023 05:43:03] AWES-Aspiration: On your tail. Into the ice
[22.01.2023 05:43:20] Aspen.Harlow: Ice fields I actually like. Reminds me of Penny.
[22.01.2023 05:43:25] Aspen.Harlow: I'll go first.
[22.01.2023 05:43:35] AWES-Aspiration: Understood
[22.01.2023 05:44:38] Aspen.Harlow: You're bound for Yuma, then?
[22.01.2023 05:44:45] AWES-Aspiration: Yes
[22.01.2023 05:44:57] Aspen.Harlow: Nice, should be a nice straight shot.
[22.01.2023 05:44:59] AWES-Aspiration: They want this cargo at Sabah
[22.01.2023 05:45:45] Aspen.Harlow: Military applications I reckon? I heard Crayter skirmishes with the Outcasts plenty.
[22.01.2023 05:46:11] AWES-Aspiration: Then they need all the help they can get. That's a violent group.
[22.01.2023 05:46:52] Aspen.Harlow: Yeah, 'tween the sniffers and their home planet here being a pain in the butt to colonize, they got a handful.
[22.01.2023 05:47:23] Aspen.Harlow: And there's Sabah, nice and pretty.
[22.01.2023 05:48:23] Aspen.Harlow: Said I wouldn't end up a space merc, and then I pull an escort right after. Space does weird things to you, man.
[22.01.2023 05:48:23] AWES-Aspiration: Excellent. Thank you for the escort, and the conversation. Always good to make great acquitances on road.
[22.01.2023 05:48:35] AWES-Aspiration: It sure does *laugh*
[22.01.2023 05:48:59] Aspen.Harlow: Say, what's your name, captain? We should chat more some time if I see ya around.
[22.01.2023 05:49:48] AWES-Aspiration: I'm captain Forrest Logan. I usually got this boat heading around the Tau areas due to being based in Convergence in 31
[22.01.2023 05:50:53] AWES-Aspiration: Safe travels to you out there. I hope we cross paths again.
[22.01.2023 05:50:58] Aspen.Harlow: Hey, right on. I'm Aspen Harlow - couldn't think up anything witty enough callsign-wise, so there ya go.
[22.01.2023 05:51:09] Aspen.Harlow: I'll be around the Taus some, so I don't doubt it.

[22.01.2023 05:51:52] Aspen.Harlow: Just brought him in from Bretonia. A delivery for you military folks.

After the Iridium was sold on Sabah, the ship loaded up with yet another of the countless loads of Hull Segments from the station we've transported to Tau-31, more repair and upgrade materials for Convergence Trade Centre.
Upon arrival at the centre, there was a problem with staffing I was made aware of by the administrator. It appears that 150 or so crew had decided to take off and go to Freeport 6 in Tau-29 for some R&R. I was asked to retrieve them and appeal to their economic stability to make this happen. On Freeport 6 after the short trip from Tau-31, we located more of the crew and managed to convince the majority of them to return. The ones that were a lost cause we left there, and quickly filled their vacancies with temporary base staff (there's always lots of applications for this work on this Freeport). Back at the base, things slowly returned to normal, and our crew dispersed for some much deserved downtime .
Sincerely,
Forrest Logan
Captain - AWES-Aspiration All Worlds Enterprises & Securities
This is my first assignment as a full fledged captain in Passenger operations since leaving the decommissioned post at Mirau Enterprises in Kyushu. It was a long haul with many items to report - our new headquarters in Liberty space is a very busy place at times!
My liner was completing an assignment of ferrying some VIPs through Rheinland to Sigma-15's Freeport 8. On the way, we encountered the always friendly SEO group, conversing with a miner working the scrap metal field in Frankfurt.
[29.01.2023 23:40:23] AWES-Splendour: Good day, SEO|M-Basti
[29.01.2023 23:40:29] SEO|M-Basti: Guten Tag AWES-Splendour!
[29.01.2023 23:40:34] SEO|M-Basti: Hows business?
[29.01.2023 23:40:57] AWES-Splendour: Business is good! We've got priority cargo today! How's the clean-up in Frankfurt going?
[29.01.2023 23:41:21] SEO|M-Basti: Slowly but we keep going! Let us know if you need anything from us!
[29.01.2023 23:41:32] SEO|M-Basti: Well i won't hold you any longer then, safe skies!
[29.01.2023 23:41:38] AWES-Splendour: Safe skies!
Upon passenger departure at Freeport 8, We took on a class of Arbiters going to Planet Los Angeles in the California system. A brief inspection by Rhienland Military in New Berlin near Essen Station confirmed our manifest was perfectly legal in Rheinland space - we would never try to pull one over on House Lawfuls!
[29.01.2023 23:54:58] AWES-Splendour: Good day, [RM]Fl-Frieda.Voigt.
[29.01.2023 23:55:02] [RM]Fl-Frieda.Voigt.: Hallo.
[29.01.2023 23:55:11] [RM]Fl-Frieda.Voigt.: Could you please hold for inspection?
[29.01.2023 23:55:19] AWES-Splendour: very well. holding!
[29.01.2023 23:55:52] [RM]Fl-Frieda.Voigt.: Hm...
[29.01.2023 23:56:16] AWES-Splendour: Is there a problem? Is an explanation required?
[29.01.2023 23:56:23] AWES-Splendour: We have papers!
[29.01.2023 23:56:44] [RM]Fl-Frieda.Voigt.: Hm... no issues so far.
[29.01.2023 23:56:54] [RM]Fl-Frieda.Voigt.: I can count a lot of passengers on board.
[29.01.2023 23:57:07] SEO|M-Legionnes: Guten Tag!
[29.01.2023 23:57:07] AWES-Splendour: Ah yes, our liner has a good capacity!
[29.01.2023 23:57:29] [RM]Fl-Frieda.Voigt.: Well, everything seems to be in order for now.
[29.01.2023 23:57:53] AWES-Splendour: Excellent, thank you!
[29.01.2023 23:57:57] [RM]Fl-Frieda.Voigt.: Have a good day, Splendour.
From the New Berlin inspection, we proceeded to California. Aside from a very brief hostile set of contacts in Hamburg, appearing from the Corsair [TBH] tag, we had no further encounters with vessels with our Arbiter passenger delivery. They safely disembarked to continue their work and training in Liberty space.
Finally in Liberty space, we proceeded to fulfill the reason for our return - Salt Lake Station's advanced upgraded needed help from the Science community to properly oversee and implement. Our mission was to transport many, many, many scientists and their associated staff to New York to help with the requirements.
During a few of those runs, we encountered a few other ships cross our paths - unfortunately preliminary scans showed them to be smuggling or carrying unlawful commodities within Liberty Space! I've included what brief conversations I had, if any with them, usual occurring before our crew had a chance to do routine prelim scans. As per corporate 'Good Citizen' policy, I filled out a report for LPI for their records and follow-up.

Good day hard-working AWES staff,
Just a quick memo to advise about a change in positions for one of our staff.
As of today, Jack Gibson will step down from his post of Chief Intelligence Officer. His service has been exemplary during his tenure in this position.
At his request, he will be assuming command at Ulster Station in Dublin, as Base Administrator, effective immediately.
This man has paid his dues supporting Interspace Commerce's interests abroad, and now continues in the equally challenging, yet a like more stable and stationary, role of working with BMF in Dublin on maintaining the Gold Ore supplies for our customers.
Jack's prior title will actually be phased out - to be replaced with another position of equal responsibilities but more appropriately called 'Extraordinary Investments'. His signature 'Ghost' callsign has been retired on his combat patrol spacecraft and replaced with 'Shadow' for the new placement.
That is all. Keep up the great work everyone!
Sincerely,
Don "The Closer" Vega

Good day Executive staff,
Alexei, we have been doing well with factory progression - many of the new developments are in operation and equipment manufacturing is underway!
I look forward to the day when we finish development and are solely focused on production of the equipment, but we are still requiring a lot of cargo deliveries before this day arrives. Optronic Arrays and a few other critical building resources are in high demand.
We've got a list for our suppliers on our base information net link as well as on-demand from the base administration itself (//F9 page). If you feel we would be better suited to make a few more direct supply requests, let me know and we'll discuss suitable suppliers with available ships to help out.
Sincerely,

Good day Executive Offices,
My standard patrols today took my combat ship around the Tau-31 and Coronado areas, checking for any hostile activity around the vicinity of our Convergence Trade Centre and its supply routes.
I received a direct communication from an ID called 'CriminalMeans' which already set off some alarms given I was in Coronado at the time and had spotted a few potential pirates flying just out of scanner range.
The whole communication reeks of some plot to discredit or stain our corporation in some way, and the lack of evidence as well as the answers to some of my standard questions on the matter didn't add much to the credibility of the complaint. I recommend filing this under 'nuisance' as I'm assuming the issue and contact discussed likely never happened and is some sort of scam. I'm sure this call was 'setting the stage' for a future contact that will likely involve an insurance claim, a lawsuit, or just some sort of local thug bullying for credits.
Here's the details from the logs, for the records. Hopefully they sit there until archival down the road.
[05.02.2023 00:34:32] CriminalMeans: Blair, you picking this signal up? i do hope so, we need to talk real quick.
[05.02.2023 00:35:14] AWES-Chris.Blair: This is Blair. How may I assist?
[05.02.2023 00:36:07] CriminalMeans: You don't know?, You send goons after me saying i attacked you AWES in Liberty.
[05.02.2023 00:37:20] CriminalMeans: I tell you a name & you best set him straight asap or there's gonna be hell to pay,
[05.02.2023 00:37:23] AWES-Chris.Blair: I sent goons after you? We've never crossed paths to my knowledge!
[05.02.2023 00:38:19] CriminalMeans: His name is: Patton you best get a pm to him fast, he threatened be inforint of my grandkids, not they scared for my life.
[05.02.2023 00:39:42] CriminalMeans: You get that name? it's: Patton
[05.02.2023 00:39:56] AWES-Chris.Blair: I'm a little confused here. I sent goons after you, one named Patton, and now I have to fix it?
[05.02.2023 00:40:27] CriminalMeans: we don't take kindly to threats like that so you best get that fixed.
[05.02.2023 00:40:44] AWES-Chris.Blair: I really think you have me confused with someone else.
[05.02.2023 00:41:14] CriminalMeans: That what i told him but he says i attacked your lot & now he's after me
[05.02.2023 00:41:35] AWES-Chris.Blair: We have no AWES ships called Patton.
[05.02.2023 00:42:40] CriminalMeans: i said his name was Patton, some hunter gonna tear me a new arsehole over me attacking your ships.
[05.02.2023 00:42:59] AWES-Chris.Blair: Where did this happen?
[05.02.2023 00:43:36] AWES-Chris.Blair: I'm pretty sure your particular ship has never pirated or engaged us that I'm aware of.
[05.02.2023 00:43:37] CriminalMeans: I was coming through California i got his call from NY.
[05.02.2023 00:44:26] CriminalMeans: Well, he's got it in for me, thats a fact & over your name.
[05.02.2023 00:44:33] AWES-Chris.Blair: Well I don't know what to say about an independent ship claiming to be after you for attacking us for an attack of
[05.02.2023 00:44:40] AWES-Chris.Blair: which I have no knowledge
[05.02.2023 00:45:31] AWES-Chris.Blair: It's been a long while since I was even stationed in Liberty
[05.02.2023 00:45:37] CriminalMeans: Well from my side, you lot will be held responsible if any harm comes my way.
[05.02.2023 00:45:39] AWES-Chris.Blair: Unsure how this is even possible.
[05.02.2023 00:46:04] AWES-Chris.Blair: And you are who, again?
[05.02.2023 00:46:04] CriminalMeans: You're telling me.
[05.02.2023 00:46:55] CriminalMeans: I'm just some Freelancing law abiding citizen, minding my own business.
[05.02.2023 00:47:36] AWES-Chris.Blair: Well we don't typically have problems with Freelancers, unless they have problems with us - and that's rare.
[05.02.2023 00:47:47] CriminalMeans: I tell you, he got my grandkids scared for my life.
[05.02.2023 00:48:17] AWES-Chris.Blair: If I come across this Patton, I'll discuss this incident with them for more information and resolution.
[05.02.2023 00:48:30] CriminalMeans: Well thats my problem now, we had no problems with you lot till now.
[05.02.2023 00:48:44] AWES-Chris.Blair: Is there anything else you can tell me about this ship or was it just a communication?
[05.02.2023 00:49:02] CriminalMeans: You make sure you send this idiot a PM, asap.
[05.02.2023 00:49:04] AWES-Chris.Blair: You still have no problems. This Patton has no say in our organization.
[05.02.2023 00:49:41] CriminalMeans: It was just a communication we got while having a hirthday party with the grandkids.
[05.02.2023 00:50:32] AWES-Chris.Blair: Does your ship record these conversations? Can you send our executives a copy?
[05.02.2023 00:50:33] CriminalMeans: I have a big problem if this Patton comes after me & that problem will spead like wildfire.
[05.02.2023 00:51:15] AWES-Chris.Blair: That sounds like you aren't just the solo freelancer you claim to be.
[05.02.2023 00:51:24] CriminalMeans: As for the record of the communication, i'll see what i can do.
[05.02.2023 00:51:54] AWES-Chris.Blair: Well hopefully you can provide some sort of evidence, otherwise this call will be laughed off at corporate as a hoax.
[05.02.2023 00:52:00] CriminalMeans: Thats no business of your either.
[05.02.2023 00:52:23] CriminalMeans: No matter, if this falls on me, there'll be hell to pay.
[05.02.2023 00:52:30] AWES-Chris.Blair: *sigh* Alright. You really sound credible right now.
[05.02.2023 00:53:11] AWES-Chris.Blair: Stranger from wherever claims unknown person attacks because of us, without our knowledge. Alright.
[05.02.2023 00:53:25] CriminalMeans: Patton, you hear, speak to him.
[05.02.2023 00:53:51] AWES-Chris.Blair: I'm sure he'll try to contact us if he is affiliated in any way
Other than this incident, my patrol was rather uneventful. I will continue to monitor traffic, providing support where needed.

My standard patrols today took my combat ship around the New York, performing the standard 4 point patrol around the trade lane grid.
There were a few helpful traders that mentioned some recent near encounters with hostiles in the area. We tried to cover the areas mentioned but most of the information occurred well prior to our receipt of the tips.
Upon return to Salt Lake Station, a Rogue destroyer, Mad.Runner, was actively pirating in the area, including our own AWES-Legacy. Fortunately, however too late to prevent piracy losses, the vessel LNS-Typhoon showed up to deter the pirate's intimidation of local traders.
This ship was so focused on the Rogue, however, that a smuggler by the ID of Traversai passed right by my vessel and the navy craft, but was obviously seen as a lower priority issue to the navy at the time of the incident, as they were not pursued.
[01.02.2023 22:05:34] AWES-Todd.Marshall: Good day, Harry.Arxi!
[01.02.2023 22:06:25] Harry.Arxi: Howdy!
[01.02.2023 22:06:39] AWES-Todd.Marshall: Any trouble around New York?
[01.02.2023 22:07:44] Harry.Arxi: Only seen a friend and a foe on a close-by radar, just for a tad second.
[01.02.2023 22:07:59] AWES-Todd.Marshall: Just doing a quick patrol as part of Interspace Commerce efforts for safer skies. Let me know if you need any help!
[01.02.2023 22:08:21] AWES-Todd.Marshall: I'm going to head back down the lane. Good luck out there.
[01.02.2023 22:08:24] Harry.Arxi: I saw them last near the Norfolk Station, I gotta get those criminals where they belong.
[01.02.2023 22:08:36] AWES-Todd.Marshall: thanks for the info!
[01.02.2023 22:10:42] AWES-Todd.Marshall: Good day, Helga:Rui!

[01.02.2023 22:13:24] AWES-Todd.Marshall: Pretty sure he's off to hide in the local debris
//Transport shows up, scan shows hold full of Contraband
[01.02.2023 22:13:34] Traversai: Hi!
[01.02.2023 22:13:35] AWES-Todd.Marshall: Good day, Traversai!

[01.02.2023 22:13:39] AWES-Todd.Marshall: Nice cargo
[01.02.2023 22:13:51] LNS-Typhoon: Cpt.: This is captain of 'Typhoon' speaking. We're showing no more hostiles on our radars. Area clear!
[01.02.2023 22:15:12] LNS-Typhoon: Cpt.: We are moving in a search patrol. This bandit might hide somewhere close
[01.02.2023 22:15:25] AWES-Todd.Marshall: I'll head back to base, seems that threat has retreated.
[01.02.2023 22:15:37] LNS-Typhoon: Cpt.: Roger!
