Dumbest idea i ever seen on this server.

This repair consumption is the same as it was under the old system prior to the big base overhaul, which was in place for years. Not only that, but back then repair commodities were much, much less generously distributed. Yet people still managed to keep bases maintained, it just took more time, or more people.
I don't think POBs were ever really intended to be effortlessly maintained by one person with absolutely minimal time investment. Their recent status was basically an error, a failure to correct for the changes in HP and repair rates.
This is bringing them a bit further back towards their roots, as actual investments that require a more than trivial effort and shouldn't just be built for no reason other than that one can.

Grace period should be like two weeks for all those who are currently busy/away/not watching forums every day, so it is fair and convenient enough. Aside from this - good changes, this could clear Sirius of abandoned PoBs fairly quickly.

That's the problem, there isn't. Most of the POB enthusiasts are too encumbered in their own business to do work elsewhere. Outside of that are the people who hate or don't care for POBs. There's a few outliers like me who don't mind jumping around POB to POB to run supply, but even then I do it in spare time to help old friends.
There was once a discord that started to change that where we could coordinate and reach out to other POB owners/organizations for help, set up trade routes between houses so that people running empty could bring something for a POB etc... but then toxic pirates took advantage of that and started to shadow log convoys.
So yes, valid point... just lacking the people wanting or willing to do it.
I hope that either all of us or none of us are judged by the actions of our weakest moments. But rather, by the strength we show when, and if, we're ever given a second chance.

I agree with you. However, the current culture of this community regarding POBs is their current state of accessibility. To change it back to where seeing a POB is something great to behold because of the effort needed should be something implemented with time, not overnight. Much like how we are given a warning in hours, not days, of these changes. If we are going in the direction of POBs REQUIRING multiple people to operate and maintain, doing so in one or two patch updates with little warning will not be good to the POB population. Culture change takes time. Let it take the time that it needs so that people are not confronted with the possibility of losing their slice of digital space all at once.

It was stated before but let's do that again. PoBs aren't supposed to be maintained by ONE(1) person, so it's not really that hard to either get help by friends or RP with corps to get it done for you.
It's a nice change. Finally we will get rid of some PoBs just taking up space in the game... I mean there is much more PoBs than active players so.

It should boost the activity, because you will have to supply your base more OFTEN, which means you will have to log more often than once a week or two to deliver few supplies. And that means bigger chance to actually engage in encounters. Or you could just say how will that negatively impact activity.

Again, agree with the idea POBs should require more than 1 person to supply, but should not be changed quickly to avoid shock and more player base loss.
