Skirmish Over New London!
NEW LONDON -The end of last week brought with it an unexpected development in the Bretonian - Liberty relation -- an LSF task force entering New London and refusing to cooperate, then engaging in combat with the Armed Forces.
What led to this event and how does it affect the current relationship? -Though details remain unclear as of now, the LSF's entry into Bretonia may be related to past diplomatic incidents around Curacao, which have driven a wedge between Manhattan and New London, causing grave concerns about the stability of the alliance.
Nevertheless, in a short press briefing this morning, Foreign Office and Home Office representatives alike have sought to reassure the public that this is an isolated incident and that it will be 'thoroughly investigated.' in the days to come. With no official talks that have yet begun between the Kingdom's top diplomats and the Republic's counterparts, the Prime Minister has instead also stated that a cabinet meeting will be held to decide the steps ahead, while also moving to offer his 'full support' for 'finding a solution through diplomatic means'.
The BBC will bring more details soon to cover the circumstances. Stay with us!
