Farmers have their battlezones that invite cap fights.
Why not do this for snubbers who could farm money via plugin by killing each other. Only downside is potential abuse but that'll be super easy to spot if you keep + publish scores monthly or some such. Maybe it has to come from Staff themselves rather than a perk request
I think the larger issue with using pvp to "farm" money is that it's very difficult to consolidate that with a respawn timer (unless you're on BHG bouncing around Sirius), even if it's reduced to 30 minutes like other conflict zones you only get the kill once. The other side is if you start using a no-respawn timer which is a) going to be abused to hell and b) really quite immersion breaking and will inevitably end up with salty revenge kills more often than not, which isn't particularly fun for either side. I guess it would perhaps work with a really short 10-15 minute respawn timer? I'm not wholly sure to be honest.

I play caps. I log in systems with PvE Battlezones because of how amazing they have been in making caps pew each other. If I have to log VHFs I'd at least like to have some incentive to do it. I mean I don't get why there wouldn't be systems with plugin on semi-permanently for this reason, in regions staff want more active. In totally dead systems like O-5 there's literally nothing to lose.
Combining NPCs and players is an awful idea for PvP right now - NPCs are too disturbing. I'd much rather see player characters invested in the conflict and their factions than nameless and clueless NPCs.
I believe that something could be suitable for this system as it's literally the bloodiest conflict among unlawful factions in Sirius if my memory is correct.
The Hammen Hole is by far big enough to support both, really. Looking at the relatively small bubbles in Munich, Lorraine, Coronado and Vespucci, a similarly small bubble can easily be placed in there, potentially slightly above or below the plane. The exclusion zone alone is an ellipsoid of 28.000 x 14.000 x 13.000. Right now in the very center of it is an NPC spawn with assault and gunboat groups. That bubble can easily moved to the upper or lower edge of the exclusion zone and have cruisers and battleships be added to it and it wouldn't annoy anyone - simply because the Hammen Hole is definitely big.
'Combining NPCs and players is an awful idea for PvP right now'
You can put them any way you want, it's always an annoying component for player vs. player interaction. I'd like to remind you that there are missions available in the NPC base if you want to 'farme'.
as I said you just need to log in or propose events.

Missions are fine for solo farming, but for me at least they aren't nearly as enjoyable as battlezones in groups. I've had more than a couple RP interactions with random people coming in repair ships or just other warships arriving in a battlezone, friendly or otherwise. That's not something you get nearly as much in a mission, and I think it's difficult to argue that random player encounters are a thing to be discouraged in a multiplayer mod.

I used to run missions with people before the change, now it's just not profitable and often even possible with the new cruisers
The thing is, you remember a time where story did not move at a glacial pace, and people were willing to pew and RP for a chance of their ideas (and pixels) coming to life some day in the current decade.
You have to realise one thing:
Those days are long gone.
You will get your daily raid, perhaps an event or two if Story deems the system worthy of breaking the status quo... and that's it. With all meaningful progress depending on a couple of people you are bound to end up in an increasingly static and frozen universe.
Good for "quality"? Perhaps, but more likely to end up like the masterpieces of classic literature... We read them because we have to, but hardly anyone has the time - or the willpower to look for deeper meaning in them.
@LuckyOne static I would take over current devs, at least you'd know the most active systems in the game you RP around wouldn't be deleted, and story wouldn't step in and block admin granted most minor perks and requests hah.
I.e. it would be all on you to make player stories, activity and you'd work with admins to enhance them, without the constant threat of systems and story stepping on people's ideas.
