Sender name and rank:Crewman Hawk Jones Location:Coronado Subject:A hard lesson to learn
I've faced my fair share of challenges, albeit most simulated, but none quite as overwhelming as the encounter with the Outcast Fleet in Coronado today. It started with a routine patrol mission, but I soon detected the Outcast fleet on my radar. My initial plan was to join the Bretonian fleet and engage them in a skirmish, but as I got closer, I realized the sheer size and firepower of their fleet. We were hopelessly outnumbered, and our morale started to falter, the Bretonians were wiped out or fled.
Nevertheless, I had to fight, and I did. Yellowstone cannot be allowed to fall. I engaged them in a dogfight, weaving in and out of their ships, firing my weapons, and avoiding their incoming fire. My ship was nimble, and I zeroed in on and heavily damaged one of their cruisers, but it soon became painfully clear that I was not making much of a dent in their fleet. As the battle progressed my ship's systems started to malfunction under the fire.
The Outcast ships were too powerful and I was unable to withstand their onslaught. Due to the remote location and most of the First Armada located in other places, I could not even call for reinforcements.
I remember feeling a sense of dread as I saw more and more of my hull starting to buckle, and the realization that I was going to lose this battle without destroying a single Outcast vessel started to sink in. In the end, I was forced to retreat, and the Outcast fleet continued on its path of destruction in Coronado. I felt like I had failed my people and my fellow pilots and our Crayter allies. I was supposed to protect them but was unable to make a dent in the Outcast fleet.
Looking back, I realized that we were outmatched, and there was little I could have done to turn the tide of the battle. Nevertheless, it was a difficult lesson to learn, and I hope that my failure and the defeat of the Bretonians and us will serve as a warning to others who may face the Outcast fleet in the future and that we need more help in Coronado.

Sender name and rank:Admiral Blake Wayne Van Leer Location:Vespucci Subject:Courage
My fellow heroes, let us take a moment to reflect on the brave acts of the First Armada We are standing tall and resolute as the first line of defense for our beloved Republic of Liberty. We face tremendous challenges, battling fierce conditions and daunting enemies, but we never waiver in our commitment to protecting our freedom and preserving our way of life. We continue to stand together, united and strong, in the face of any adversity that may come our way. May we always be inspired by the example set by those who came before us, and may their legacy of courage and determination continue to guide us as we navigate the challenges of our own time.
The Insurgency might be defeated, but that does not mean we can stop being vigilant. Enemies of Liberty will try to step into the power vacuum, as we have found today when I have personally taken down two Outcast warships in Vespucci. Our enemies are many, and our resolve must remain strong!

Sender name and rank:Admiral Blake Wayne Van Leer Location:New York, Texas Subject:PEGASUS Serenity Deployment
Our brand new PEGASUS Division is experimenting with the Serenity class vessels for smuggler interception.
Defeat of a heavily armored Aspis
Our new PEGASUS Serenity, just purchased, with only 100 nanobots and batteries has faced an Outcast Battletransport.
It came out Victorious despite being outgunned and outclassed after a prolonged battle of hit and run, utilizing the superior range of its weaponry.
Later an Ageira Vessel with Xeno Relics was discovered. After a lot of game playing it was disabled and the relics were recovered.
After that, a real test came, as a Hacker Fighter Bomber took on our Serenity, which held it off for fifteen minutes when Crewman Bryce Walker Arrived and saved the vessel.
Thanks to his assistance, the contraband was safely delivered to storage evidence on Manhattan.
The PEGASUS Serenity first test flight was a roaring success, and proof that this project is worth pursuing and expanding.
A new Simple reporting template has been added. Officers now have an option between the Simple and Complex templates that can be found at the beginning of the Logs and Communications.

Sender name and rank:Patrol Commander -- CODENAME --VANGUARD Location:REDACTED Recipient:Admiral Van-Leer Subject:New Patrol Rosta
Good day Admiral,
I hope you are well and since my introduction to the Armada, I have been deep in thought as to what to initiate in our new Patrol Squadron. I will be making some changes to the patrol protocol and how we do it.
I will be taking on existing pilots from the Armada, who are expert pilots and can do the job with their eyes closed. Effectively this will be a patrol squadron which will comprise of a number of specialised vessels and personnel.
I am honoured that you have given me full control of the squadron, and I can assure you that I will do my very best and bring out the best in those pilots.
This Squad will be known as The Raptors and each vessel will have the codename plus a number chosen by myself. This will mean any operatives who join will remain anonymous and also use special pilot codenames aswell. Pilot codenames will be used in reports and messages, so to keep it CLASSIFIED.
DESIGNATION : 1st|Raptor-<number>
I will be in touch soon Admiral Van Leer, and keep you posted about my progress, I will be in the Simulator if you need me.

Sender name and rank:Admiral Blake Wayne Van Leer Location:New York Recipients:Patrol Commander VANGUARD Subject:About time
Patrol Commander VANGUARD. I will cut to the chase. The situation is DIRE . The spread of focus on Vespucci, Omicron Nu, and helping Crayter has led to a complete breakdown of anti-smuggler operations in Liberty's core worlds.
Liberty's patrolling net is simply broken. It has gotten so bad that even our own corporations simply accept contracts from shady individuals and engage in mass smuggling - we caught three universal vessels blatantly using trade lanes near west point with 15,000 units of artifacts (!!!!). Your job is absolutely essential for the safety of our house.
Teach our people how to patrol, lockdown systems. New York and California have been especially poisoned by unhinged smuggling. If someone refuses on-site law enforcement demands and flees then contact them and issue a bounty to mercenaries we will pay out for you.
This is crisis mode, you are given great autonomy and a nearly unlimited budget to curb this issue and get frequent patrols and anti-smuggler net going again. We are counting on you.

Sender name and rank:VANGUARD - REDACTED Location:New York Manhatten Orbit Recipient:Admiral Van Leer Subject:Smuggler
A Freelancer by the designation of bhfdch was spotted approaching Manhatten orbit and was asked to stop. This individual did not adhere to my command, so I initiated my cruise disruptor and he still did not stop. I managed to take evidence of his designation, but his cargo was Sorted Artifacts and he landed before I could screenshot it.
This individual will need to be stopped and initially fined for non compliance and also next time his cargo is to be confiscated, and if he re-offends he will face more harsh consequences. I actually noticed he used the trade lanes, so now he may use a different method for making his way to Manhatten so basically my first short patrol was a success.

Sender name and rank:VANGUARD - - REDACTED Location:Texas, California, Cortez Recipient:Admiral Van Leer Subject:Outcast Destroyer
Outcast destroyer by the name of Amalfi had been spotted by M.Hawkins a Freelancer and immediately sent out a distress signal to me and 1st|Raptor-94 Piloted by CYPHER. Outside Beaumont base in Texas he sat for a while and would not cooperate at first but as gradually more forces appeared, he decided to comply to our request to leave the system and Liberty as a whole. 1st|Emerald, 1st|LNS-Interdictor, LNS-Waratah, 1st|Nutcracker all responded to the emergency and were either on standby or watching closely from a distance, as myself and 1s|Raptor-94 and 1st|Emerald escorted the Outcast out of Liberty.
Eventually we managed to make him comply, and he also tried to divert to Coronado, but we managed to get him to the Manchester Jump Gate, so now he is out of Liberty and hopefully wont come back. He was warned that next time we will not let him wander freely at all.
