I managed to get a supplier for those Rheinland mining vehicles for your further modifications. The delivery will be dobe by the Die Schwarzen Herzen - a small group of freelance pirates from Rheinland. I would be glad if your men would leave them alone in Liberty - perhaps even help their transports to get some heat off their backs should you feel generous.
However, important questions remains - how many vehicles will be needed and where will they be delivered? My preliminary proposal is the Bethlehem Station in Pennsylvania.

You're smarter than this.
Liberty is aware about Erie's dissatisfaction and lack of cooperation. By now, they've put people on Bethlehem to keep an eye on all inbound and outbound cargo. With what our plans are, it would be wise to send all the cargo somewhere without too many eyes, and then ship from there. Freelancers that I can trust are more useful than pirates from Rheinland in that regard.
Send your lackeys to Fontana with their cargo, my associates will have it shipped to Erie under the radar. But remind your supplier who calls the shots in Liberty. My people aren't fond of having to educate the ignorant.

Bethlehem was more of a suggestion than a final decision. After all, I was not sure if Fontana could be trusted with all the spineless freelancers around while the Zoners in Pennsylvania have some sense of community.
How many Rheinland mining machines can you modify into suitable combat vehicles, Signor Morreti? As I have stated previously - they are robust, rugged and powerful, yet bulky and they take 50 cargo units packaged, each.
And do not worry about my middlemen - they will behave.

This is war.
Send as many as you can and we'll convert as many as we can. Extras that can't be converted are a source for something equally valuable - spare parts and replacements. Fontana is also less problematic, especially when you consider its recent history, people who try to get in the way will be kicked out the airlock.

My contracted blockade runners delivered 312 rheinland-made mining vehicles to Fontana, feel free to modify them into something nice for the Liberty authorities on Erie. More deliveries will follow as my budget permits.
Were there any complications besides the presence of the First Armada near Fontana?

No, we didn't lose them.
The Navy made this push so quickly that the fighting was over before we'd even retrofitted one of the rigs as a test. My most pessimistic projections weren't even this bad. But we have to work with what we have, so I'll get to work with trying to give the locals the edge in fighting they need.
To this end, I have a little extra help and an understand with people that might otherwise prove to solely be rivals. Hemlocke, the rogue pack leader, has essentially put forward a truce that I accepted. This is ultimately for the sake of the greater interests of Erie and its people, even if I might have my personal misgivings with his pack and their MO.
I'll let you know how all of this goes, because we first have to work out where to send all this aid first, especially now the Liberty has near-total control of Erie.

Currently, I find myself on Malta, discreetly observing the unfolding events from a significant distance. Amidst all the news going to my desk, one figure has managed to seize my attention - and not in the right way - this self-proclaimed princess of anarchy.
Are these the ideals by which former professional naval officers of Liberty envision their ideological battle against militaristic domination? It is no wonder that the Republic struggles while their underworld flourishes. My dear niece was under an impression that I am making all of this up - what an innocent summer child.
However, my amusement aside, you and all your temporary allies now face a more formidable task ahead with the resistance publicly discredited. Also be mindful, for it is highly probable that the MFE has succumbed to the influence of the Nomads, with Doc Holiday knowingly entangled in their web. Their schemes may extend even to Erie and its now distracted, unsuspecting populace.

Rejects are rarely a quality resource.
I was a corporate, I don't know what metrics the Liberty Navy uses to separate recruits from refuse, safe to say it isn't working effectively though. It's also worth noting that the underworld here flourishes because everyone in power, anyone with money essentially, is directly responsible for its continued existence and prosperity.
That aside - I'm more curious what it is with people that have scientific backgrounds being clinically insane. It's like the sector's a comedian with repetitive material. I'll keep tabs on the good doctor and any peculiar patients. Worst case scenario we'll have to amputate.
Your niece sounds sweet though. Give her my regards.

I shall certainly convey your regards to her, yet what if we were to select a delightful present for her?
I happen to possess two relatively renowned heroines, each hailing from a different House - one from Liberty, the other from Kusari. I am quite confident that any child of her age would aspire to befriend either of these captivating role models.
Would you be kind enough to assist me in selecting the perfect one for my niece? The decision weighs heavily upon me, and while I wish to keep both heroines for myself, your valued guidance would be most appreciated in this manner.
