Glad staff finally let go of the idea that recording messages was bad, hopefully they'll open up to new ingame dialogue over time as well. Very nice touch.
There's 3 hours until the event begins. Posting a reminder that the Zoner side will be gathering and coordinating from the BAF server. We'll be there and we'll be square.
Literally a ton of shithole was there instead of event starting with transports who are going to die without strafing and thrusting and ending with no coordination and total understanding of what's going on.

Event was fun, I really enjoyed it, although it was very difficult to navigate in it thanks to the number of ships involved and finding transports was extremely difficult in constantly changing target list.
My takes on further improvements:
Last wave could have been by both sides respawning at their staging grounds, fully repaired and restocked, and moving at each other for one last and more tactical hurrah.
Objective ships should be large and slow, so attacks can be made from all directions and not just trailing them + quite easy to find even among 60+ players.
Maybe implement some 'respawn timers', so death is being a way more meaningful despite it being a respawn event. For example, we killed zoner cruisers at Erie in order for them to just undock at us, making their destruction pointless.
Having watched it on stream, I can say four things:
1. The server took it like a champ.
2. Alma and Aquilon taking potshots at each other and circling around each other had Battlefront 2 space battle vibes.
3. At no point in Discovery's history has been a bigger Zoner force assembled - not during Freeport 11's battles, not even in the battle for Gran Canaria.
4. The broad majority seems to have enjoyed this very much.
So were the transports instructed not to use batts and bots on the way to the field? There is a bit of confusion as to why they weren't using their consumables to repair their ships on the way to the nebula.
Feels like it make it easier for the Liberty players to be able to destroy the transports without using them.
Why are you reading this? Don't you have something else you'd rather be doing? Why are you still reading this? Go out and explore, trade, fight, pirate, or even die thanks to SLRC autopilot. You're still here? What do you want, a poem? Fine. Roses are red, violets are blue, I lose the game, and so did you.
