Oops, I haven't been thinking about the ingame balance at all - but yes, that's even more important if both sides want to have a fun. Zoners, Freelancers, Navy and Order vs Nomads is pretty much going to be one-sided as previous event was.

Let's keep it more even.
that i agree
Nothing stop Zoners from coming, although due to probable balance considerations, we'd recommend they take e.g. large vessels intended for Roleplay only. It will make a nice event background and it will be obvious they are non-combat units since it's snub only
I really had a great time in the hour-long, radiation-soaked pew . RP was good and the fights were good. I want to say thank you to the staff for doing this and also thank you to everyone that participated. Looking forward to more!

The combined task force of Liberty and the Order entered the eerily clouded Kepler system in the pursuit of the alien forces that had assaulted Pueblo Station, the ongoing storm messing with their sensors and nerves. Ames Research Station served as an essential checkpoint on their route, the task force would regroup and reengage from there if needed, providing a small relief from the radiation that was eating away at their ships. However, just as they began to move out, the aliens descended from the clouds. Nomads and Infected ships alike swarmed upon the Humans that had dared to enter their territory.
The ambush was swift and merciless, initially managing to scatter the task force with a rain of plasma and alien weaponry. Only after regrouping and mustering their courage did the Humans slowly start to fight their way back to equal footing. Many a soldier of Liberty and Order operative lost their lives during the attack but eventually they managed to fight off the Nomad forces, a graceful boon due to their larger numbers considering the heavier losses they had taken.
A small scout group detached from the main fighting force was able to confirm that the previously detected base of the Aliens had been reduced to scraps by the radiation, seemingly indicating that it had only been intended for temporary use during the assault on Pueblo Station.
Cautiously optimistic that the worst of the Nomad presence in the system had been dealt with, eyes now turn towards the repairs of Pueblo and the safety of the passages between Liberty and Kusari.
// small disclaimer, the PoB appeared to have accidentally despawned prior to the event, perhaps due to a crash or some other means. Fortunately this did not impact the event beyond changing the location of the fight. Considering the PoB in the narrtive was intended as a distraction that the Nomads did not actually care for it was written off in this conclusio to explain the lack of said base.
