A company that de-merged from the ALG group, remaining uneasy partners. Sirius Entsorgung focuses on dominating the lawful recycling and industrial cleanup market by becoming the number one trade and research partner for the houses in Sirius.
Some of the shareholders and directors grew tired of the political intrigues, mismanagement and scheming, especially in tandem with unlawful organisations of their parent company ALG. Ties to pirates and terrorists were more harm than good. This directly leading to less lucrative arrangements and denied them deals with other more well-off trading partners. The final nail in the coffin was choosing a side in the civil war. Using unlawful allies once again to gain power.
Sirius Entsorgung promises the same focus on chemical, metallurgical and industrial cleanup but with a strict emphasis on conducting business only in legal ways with no sketchy back-doors. This way the board wants to mend ties with the Houses and other companies, returning them to their former state. The company's policy is to keep everything the legal way. No matter who is in power. In addition we stay away from the political "right" or "wrong" discussions. History is written by the victors - and the victors usually have money.
Unfortunately in the case of Rheinland, this money was earmarked for corporations staying loyal during the civil war. With SEO still on the wrong side of the divide despite assurances, relations with the new Federated Empire would prove frosty under the surface. Unable to secure a bid to incorporate alongside giants like DHC and Kruger, SEO was faced with a corporate buyout or its own extinction. With the former option being unpalatable to both employees and board members, its vorsitzender decided to forge a new path in the truest traditions of the original founder, Basti Legion.

RANKS
Crewmember: Everyone beginning their career at SEO starts off as a crewmember. They may be given different amounts of responsibility based on their abilities, but their main task will always be carrying out the orders of those above them.
Manager: Experienced workers often get rewarded a manager rank and leads a small group of crewmembers. Most run of the mill security, mining, and transportation captains are of manager rank.
Assistant-Director: Members that show potential get promoted to Assistant-Director. This role gives more responsibilities which often involve interdepartmental cooperation, and reports directly to a Director.
Director: Directors generally lead a branch inside SEO. Some have important independent assignments related to trade or diplomacy. All directors sit on the board which decides the policies and direction of Sirius Entsorgung.
Vorsitzende/r: The CEO of SEO. This individual has a controlling stake on the board, and generally has the final say on any immediate directions for the faction. Due to coming from a specific department with unique ideas about doing things, SEO's overall "flavor" may change under various Vorsitzende/rs.
BASES
Wichter Station - Sigma 15: Wichter Station formerly housed the core of SEO operations, and continues to be an important enterprise site. It serves as the main researching facility, focusing on improving the refining of toxic waste and its various byproducts. The offices for the large percentage of SEO's support staff and junior managers can be found on the station, alongside our ALG colleagues.
Belvedere Refinery - New London: Belvedere Refinery was constructed in 827 AS in response to challenges in clearing up New London. Initially intended exclusively as a smelting point for the vast quantities of military grade scrap endangering Planet New London, its role was later widened to include the salvaging of the Southampton Debris Field, and any clean-up operations in Leeds. Its output of basic alloys will provide Bretonia a source of ship building materials for forseeable future.
Wuppertal Refinery - Cologne: A station dedicated to the smelting and processing of the different metals and toxic waste mined or recovered by operations Sirius wide. The station also serves as a meeting point with Gallic corporations. Its warehouses often contain toxic waste earmarked for transportation to Wichter. It is the clearing house for all major clean-up operations in Cologne.
Briancon Station - Languedoc: Previously an EFL-owned and operated refinery, the halls of this station have seen their share of bloodshed during the wars of Gallic Reunification and civil unrest. After a final uneasy peace has settled and with Sirius being re-opened for business, many of EFL's investors decided to cash in on the location instead of retooling to compete with Sirian expertise. With the in-pouring of ALG crews and SEO nickel, and new, efficient order was established on the station that now serves as the hub of toxic waste disposal in Gallia.
Eupen Handelsplatz - New Berlin: Wanting to break into Liberty markets, SEO bought and renovated an old KAM outpost for the purpose of scrap storage and refining. Seeing that Texas has the best quality scrap, efforts were made to relocate the base to it. After new innovations in materials research, DSE took over the scrap market in Liberty, forcing Eupen to move back to its homeland. Replacing the aging Koepchen Depot, Eupen is now a hub of innovation and on-the-job training, outfitted with the latest SEO has in store. Its modular nature allows the station to be transferred to any desirable location for oversight of the most critical projects SEO undertakes.
SHIPS & ID
SEO| will now operate under the Freelancer ID.
Therefore, all ships accessible to Freelancers are used by its employees, particularly the "Pitbull" Pirate Train.
"A pair of Golems within a larger Rheinland-Bretonia convoy."
With SEO moving further away from ALG and Rheinland in general, its prior favored status within this context has been rescinded. With it also came the loss of one the most unique vessels previously commonly seen in SEO convoys - the HWDU-430 "Golem" Heavy Mover. Its versatility and impressive cargo hold and armor capacity makes it useful in most corporate endeavors, but there are other, lesser known variants that serve much of the same purpose and can be found all over Sirius. And with expertise acquired over years of hauling waste, SEO engineers were easily able to modify this "Pirate" Train to serve their own purposes.
"A new vessel muscles its way onto the waste disposal market"
DIPLOMACY SEO aligns itself with the Houses and their policies. Should there be conflict between houses, SEO will stay neutral and not initiate trade between said houses. It will also adhere to the laws inside every house's space. Certain corporations have interacted with SEO over the years and have developed either warmer or cooler relations with the board.
LEGACY Outdated information and former properties that are part of Sirius Entsorgung's history.
Brighton Business Concourse - New London:Bought as an extension to Beldevere Refinery, Brighton was meant to be a Gold Ore storage center. However, being dependent on third party miners and the oversaturated market in Gold trade made this venture unprofitable in the long run. SEO decided to save it's investment money and sold it to a close business partner.
Koepchen Depot - New Berlin: With the destruction of Dortmund Station, lots of Toxic Waste was left behind in the debris. To ensure the safety of passing pilots, SEO made it it's goal to remove the waste and refine it into useful commodities to be traded and used all around Sirius. A small storage base was bought at a suitable location near the wreck. The cleanup project has now succeeded. The base is currently overseeing the Karlsruhe clean-up as an experiment of whether it's possible to operate a waste disposal operation without ongoing external funding. Offers regarding its purchase will be considered, and SEO is willing to provide a discount for a moving company if the current location of the depot is not suitable to a new buyer.
New Augsburg Outpost - Munich: With the complete destruction of the Munich system by the dark matter storm, New Augsburg Outpost swiftly met the end of its already prolonged lifespan. Before its final moments, the station served as a storage depot and research hub for studying the dark matter gravitometric anomalies. With the evacuation of Munich completed in good order, all that likely remains is a scorched metallic mass in deep space, a monument to human ingenuity and tenacity.

In the vacuum of post-civil-war Rheinland left by ALG due to their sympathies, a number of company higher-ups decided to roll the dice at going independent. The newly formed company, Sirius Entsorgung (aka, sirius-wide clean-up) aimed at picking up industrial contracts left by their predecessor, the foremost being the clean-up of their previous headquarters at Dortmund Station.
As the young company broke its teeth on a low-stakes clean-up, additional clients were found abroad in Kusari, who were interested in importing foreign expertise to avoid unnecessary conflicts of interest. The above-board reputation of SEO ensured a smooth entry into the Keiretsu-controlled markets, ultimately resulting in a successful clean-up of Osaka Storage Facility. The growing relationship between SEO and Samura further ensured that the young company could now bid from within the closed market, allowing them to secure a clean-up contract of Roppongi Station in a leading capacity. An existing relationship with Interspace Commerce and prior holdings in Liberty further ensured that IC investors had no complaints about the situation.
Meanwhile, back home in Rheinland, the Dortmund clean-up entered into its sunset phase, with the station towed away from prying eyes into the Ruhrfeld. The next phase of a major clean-up, this time in Cologne, was already underway by the time the company board of directors decided to incorporate within the Federal Empire. Outreach programs, such as the acquirement of closely-guarded Golem-class vessels for ALG, and supplying Kruger refineries with Uranium, aimed at ensuring a favorable reception within ministry offices. Additionally, co-operation with Military and Police elements regarding the Karlsruhe site clean-up and storage leasing on Eupen satisfied the suspicious nature of Rheinland's foremost law enforcement.
Despite both major and minor efforts to reinforce its reputation in Rheinland, SEO ultimately failed to incorporate, with an almost unanimous (//I don't actually know for sure, don't kill me) vote against the measure at a bi-annual inter-ministry meeting. While concrete feedback was never provided to the board of directors, Herr Adam Linhardt, the Vorsitzender at the time, believed that the ultimate reasoning lay in the challenges to existing corporate monopolies. Despite a working relationships with all contemporary business and security leaders in Rheinland, SEO was to be relegated to the voting archives, as existing corporate and security structures were only just beginning to stabilize after the civil war.
Bitter and disillusioned with the success of future operations, Linhardt immediately called for a board vote, and rebranded the company as an independent entity, aimed at operating in all four Houses. Furthermore, the previously lauded Koepchen Depot was sold back into ALG hands to continue the Karlsruhe clean-up, and Eupen Handelsplatz was moved out of Rheinland space to ostensibly focus on the Rho gate clean-up. In reality, Herr Linhardt has already decided to liquidate the company, but did not want to leave the board or even many of the engineering experts without a reasonable exit strategy. With ALG relations remaining relatively cordial throughout the split, many marketing analysts assume that a buyout is on the horizon, though other elements predict a slow brain drain, or a split into many smaller co-operatives focused on various aspects of the SEO vision.
