I used to be a member of this forum,and I tried to sign in again as vardek but I could not manage to so I created a new
user called RASHTAU so I could login and ask some questions.
I have been playing Discovery for a long time and my character vardekxx had nearly 2 billion credits and a rank of 90
since this new patch my character has only 16,000,000 credits and my rank has dropped to 54!!!.
I can only ask why?.
I look forward to any answers....Please!

The value of your credits is the same. We just did a game-wide /100 of all prices including player bank accounts. This helps a lot because a character with over 2 billion credits on it gets corrupted. As it is, actually getting to 2 billion credits on one ship is very hard, so that isn't much of a problem anymore. Your credits are still there, the numbers are just smaller.
Your rank is calculated from the value of the character - your money and the value of ship and equupement. So since your money shrunk (even though the prices shrunk too so you didn't effecitvely lost anything) your rank dropped too. Nothing else to it.

Thanks for putting me straight about Rank,can I ask another question?
How do I get a ship a fighter preferably that shows as 100% compatible power when I launch.I have tried various combinations of equipment guns etc but I dont seem to be able to ever launch at 100%!
Could you give me a clue PLEASE!!!!

Sure can. You ID determines what tech you can use. You can check the tech chart, it's a bit of work to orient yourself, but it'll basically tell you what tech you can use with what ID. Feel free to PM me here or on Discord ( d3emonic ), if you need help

Yeah, it can be a bit disorienting. The rule of thumb is, you can always fly and use ships of the faction your ID belongs to. So, if you have Liberty Navy or Liberty Police ID, it's safe to assume all of the liberty snubs and their weapons bought on liberty bases will have 100% core.
It's a bit trickier for freelancers, though anything that says "civilian" is usually a safe bet.

Yes. Zoner ship with zoner weapons will work. Also with civilian weapon and I think the generic edge and border word ones should work too.
