Been meaning to send this one for a while.
This is Amy West, last Admiral of the Liberty Insurgency. I'm contacting the Mollys since our two people share a history, stemming back to the days of the Legion, and I'd like to rekindle those old flames.
When the Insurgency collapsed, those who survived largely made it out through brute forcing the blockade in Magellan. Since then, the remnants of Battlegroup Gladius have been biding our time in the north, regaining strength and taking stock of the current situation. Liberty falling back into their complacency, Bretonia still dealing with the after-effects of Dublin (kudos on that point, I'll add), and the situation as a whole in the Independent Worlds. Up until recently, we've not made much effort to make contact with other remnants, or factions beyond the Insurgency, but the environment has seemingly changed again, enough to allow us a window to grow.
Liberty and Kusari seem full focused on something within, and with Bretonia still reeling from both the constant war and the blackout, now's the perfect time to extend a handshake. The Legion in the past had good relations with Arranmore, and even today a legacy of that friendship, the Iblis, still flies with us, battered but unshakable. I'm hoping to build on that legacy.
I hope to hear from Dublin soon, and if all goes well, will have plans already for joint cooperation.

I'll admit, the nuances of Molly-Insurgency relations are not something i'm too caught up on, matters by other groups before the Assembly's prominence, but regardless, i had a soft spot for the Insurgency. We helped one or two ships escape through the Tau's a few years back.
Mostly since at the end of the day we aren't too different a band at the basics.
Though i'll be honest, i'd thought any organisation on your Kin's behalf had collapsed and scattered to whoever would take them. But i can't say it doesn't bring some amusement to know that Liberty couldn't quite finish you off.
Normally Chancellor Yarwood would take such a call, but hells knows where exactly he is right now, off doing some diplomacy i imagine.
But in the interests of upholding the man's pragmatism, shoot your shot Admiral. Haven't got a reason to turn you down, and i'm pretty curious where this could go.
I remembered hearing about the Republic reorganizing resistance not long before Veracruz became untenable. Good to see it's stood firm for the last few years. The Commonwealth may be long gone, but even we have our hopes to one day build it back with less of the red tape and needless bureaucracy, and you lot will be good inspiration for piecing it back together.
The Remnant is still getting its feet wet, and we're still largely working with freelance hospitality supplemented by less than legal credits. Still, we do have access to many of our pre-flight toys, and it isn't difficult finding ships capable of rudimentary logistics work. Since gaining a practical monopoly on Gold in the sector, I know you've been exporting it like no one's business, which is sure to bring in plenty of funds, and as a result keep Dublin free. Though a good portion of our logistics personnel are newer, post-Veracruz, they've still got the spirit of the blockade runner in 'em. No doubt we could help there.
What engineers we still have from Marshall, Monterrey, and the like could also bring their expertise alongside your people's own, and I have some old R&D projects that were shelved when the Navy rolled in that could likely give each of our people an even finer edge. I get that things like that are farther down the road, though, but the potential is intriguing regardless.
On the practical front, however, we both share a common enemy: Bretonia. They spearheaded a failed attack into Vespucci from Magellan, but their people took shots at mine on Liberty's order, even refugee transports, which makes them just as much responsible for Veracruz as the blueshirts. Since they seem dead-set on attrition in the Taus, precision strikes at their vital arteries and counter-attacks against the raids I'm sure they've been sending you towards Dublin will only keep whittling them down further into that pit. More guns pointed at the problem will only compound the effects.
The same idea can be applied to Liberty and even Crayter as well, although I can understand if the Assembly would be less keen on them, given their distance from Dublin. Again, though, the potential is there.
I could frankly see a partnership like this going far and wide, and the Remnant is quite willing to see where it goes.

Apologies for the delay, between fighting the Corsairs in Dublin and getting messages in and out of Dublin, i've had my hands full.
Well, i can't fault your determination, and for a girl like me, hearing you've still got some of your old show pieces out there brings a certain gleeful amusement at Liberty's failure.
You're right in our shared opponent, Bretonia just can't help but stick itself in everyones business, we've already got some working relationships with groups like the IMG that the Crown has burned in the past, as far as Liberty goes? Well, we haven't seen much of them, but they're no particular friends, we're not out to get into a knock out war with them, but if they happen down the way there won't be any tears about a few lost Libertonian pilots.
We've got some thoughts brewing on how to handle Bretonia on the back end, and i see no reason to turn you away, for the time being, we should be able to get more out of working together in at least some capacity, maybe you tearing some things up in the Tau's could warm elations with the IMG for you too.
So far as Crayter goes, we're on a bit of an odd stance with them, we're not particularly friendly, but they do have a couple merchant ships that have run the blockade for gold.
We'll have to see where this goes, aye?
Not sure what your people need, but we have a couple of transports out there that are legal in Kusari, and you've got my interest in regards to technical and R&D efforts.
