History.
Liberty Navy, led by Admiral Dylan Brandt and Our own Blake Wayne Van Leer have liberated Kansas and Vespucci from the bulk of Insurgent forces. But as in any conflict when you assault your enemy with home advantage, several of the locals managed to escape.

Kansas
After a large battlegroup of Auxesians launched an invasion into the Texas system, a retaliatory task force counting a large contingent of capital vessels was dispatched to suppress their presence in the Kansas system from which they began launching their daring attacks. Our task force has located and engaged the Technocracy terrorist threat. In the midst of the battle, an old enemy appeared - the Insurgency, now calling themselves the Insurgency Remnants, with the common pirate identifiers. The new-found terrorist collaborants were dealt with in a prolonged battle.

Going forward
With the Insurgency return to the Kansas system, bolstered by the imperialistic Technocracy that is attempting to annex the system to launch their murderous invasions to Texas and Pennsylvania, Liberty Navy has no choice but to act. First Armada tasks force, hailing from the Alma contingent wants to inform the Citizens of Liberty that they have nothing to worry about - our response has been swift and decisive, and we have led multiple Liberty Navy and LSF commanders into a victorious battle. We urge citizens of the Republic to report any suspected Insurgency remnants and hidden agents they come across as we continue to be in the Vanguard of the operation against this re-emerged threat.
