Good news - got my hands on the Gaian gunship, but here's the kicker - she's in rough shape, to put it mildly. I'm reaching out for an escort to ensure a safe trip back to Omicron Gamma.
Now, let me break down the status of it. Here's a detailed list of what she needs:
Hull Repairs: The outer hull took a beating. We need some serious patching up to ensure structural integrity. Engine Overhaul: The engines are sputtering, and I'm no expert, but I'm pretty sure they're not supposed to sound like that. Navigation Systems: Consoles are flickering, and the navigation system is acting up. We don't want to end up in the wrong sector, right? Weapon Systems: A bit optimistic, but we're hoping to salvage and maybe upgrade the weapon systems. Can't have a gunship without the guns, right? Life Support Systems: The interior is a bit... let's call it 'well-lived-in.' We need to make sure everything's up to code in there. IFF Transponder: We'll need some talented engineers to change the IFF transponder. Gotta make sure she broadcasts that sweet Corsair signal, you know? Power Systems Check: The power distribution seems wonky. We need to make sure the ship won't go dark on us in the middle of a jump. Shield Generator Replacement: The current one's hanging by a thread. Let's replace it before it gives out on us. Sensor Array Calibration: The sensors are a bit wonky. We need them in top shape to navigate safely through space.
Given the status of the ship prepare Ravenna Invicta. Get the docks ready for our Gaian guest. We'll need all the space and equipment we can get for the repairs. I'm confident we can turn this beauty around, but it's gonna take some elbow grease and a lot of spare parts. Let me know when we can schedule the repairs, and if you can spare some of your best engineers for the job.
Looking forward to getting this Gaian gem back to her former glory.

Saludos, Miguel.
I got your message this morning, in Crete timezone. Looks like you're living an adventure no one else is. Wish you the best hermano, do not let this pesky enemigos kill you.
I saw the full report of the ship status, and I am really not sure it can make it home, but in any case, I contacted comandante Santiago del Olivar to move his flagship, the Santa Trinidad to your position. He is testing the new jumpdrive device installed into the vessel.
Wish you a safe return home, Santiago should be there soon.
Salut.

Just dropping you a quick note to let you know that the Santa Trinidad pulled through like a champ. The experimental jump drive was a game-changer, and the escort mission was a smooth ride. We made it to Ravenna Invicta without a hitch. You have full details about this on the latest entry log of the project.
The Gaian gunship, well, she's seen better days, but we've got her docked, and the engineers at Ravenna Invicta are on the case as we speak. They're diving into the repairs, but here's the thing—I was wondering if there's someone higher up the chain who can supervise the operation. It's not that I doubt their skills; it's just that this ship needs the A-team to get her back in top shape. It would be fantastic to have someone in charge, providing me with regular updates on the progress. You know, keep me in the loop on how our beauty is coming along.
Additionally, I'm looking to make sure the repair process is as efficient as possible. The appointed supervisor can with me share a list of necessary commodities and equipment the engineers might need. I'm keen on ensuring they have everything required for a successful restoration. I'm willing to call in a few people to have these items delivered promptly to the base. We all know a little extra incentive can go a long way.

Miguel, I read your report and it looks impressive. I am not an engineer, but its impressive what this guys did to the vessel in order to fix it for the travel back to Crete. You're an aventurero my friend.
Santiago sent me the full disclosed report of the operation, looks also that the Santa Trinidad is flying correctly and without problems, and that you all made it home. He have one of the best crews nearby so probably was the best to carry on this dangerous operations. I also saw in the report that you landed in Ravenna Invicta, you have landed in one of the best places for that work. Ravenna Invicta have one of the best engineering teams around and I am pretty sure the muchachos will start working in the pertinent repairs.
About the materials, that will be a more tedious work, we have funds but not infinitos. If you find yourself in need of transports and else, talk to the dock master, he will put you in contact of the needed contacts.
Your case has been assigned to me, at the behest of our Executor. My name is Michela Calliente - Internal Affairs and Intelligence. I will be the operating liaison between Intel and Engineering. I make it my business whenever we come across any outsider tech that is in serviceable condition. One can never be too careful and we need to make sure if it's not bugged. We don't want any intel leak, I am sure you understand. At the same time, we should take every possible advantage out here and part of that is adapting allied or enemy tech. Research and development is key out here in order to keep our edge.
I have to warn you this process will take time. The engineers will take thorough assessment of the ship's condition. Identify structural damage, compromised systems, and areas that need immediate attention. I've suggested that they prioritize critical systems, such as life support, navigation, and propulsion, and that they should be addressed first. This may involve patching holes, sealing breaches, and bypassing damaged systems.
We'll need to Identify and replace damaged or malfunctioning components. This may include damaged hull sections, burned-out electronics, and compromised fuel or energy systems. Spare parts may be used or manufactured on-site if necessary.
If you would like to speed up the process, having a delivery of the following would help, listed according to use.
While the engineers are working, my team will conduct comprehensive checks on all the ship's systems and security protocols. Test communication systems, weapon diagnostics, navigation, and any other critical components to ensure they meet Corsair and Deterrence's performance standards. We are particularly keen on update and patching the ship's software and firmware to address vulnerabilities and improve performance. We'll need to overhaul it to Corsair standards. Make sure the front and back-end are talking properly.
I'll document the retrofitting process. This documentation might be essential for future maintenance, repairs, or retrofits of similar nature. Once all repairs and changes are complete, and the necessary approvals are obtained, the ship can be returned to active service for future missions.
I'll be waiting for the extra supplies. Our war effort is focused on Theta right now so I would rather not strain logistics additionally. For the Imperio.
Buenas Noches, Security Control,
I've concluded my assigned patrol of Omicron Gamma. I wish I could say it was routine and bounty hunter clearing and cargo scanning, but it wasn't. I'll apologize ahead of time for my informal report. I'm still a bit shaken and struggling to think straight.
After clearing the area of Lisbon and 41 jump hole of bounty hunters, I headed into the Malvada Cloud. Maybe I just haven't been paying attention, but I was ordered to clear the areas of the Xi, Kappa, Theta, and 55 jump holes and Xi and 55 appear to have collapsed. I assume security and command are aware of this...issue. I approached to try to get a clear scan, but every alarm on my vessel started blaring at about 2km.
That's not the least of it. As I headed to the Theta jump hole, I was ambushed by nomads! I was able to clear out the first two, but was taken upon by three more as I investigated the debris. I had heard nomads were in those clouds at times, but hadn't heard of any sightings in, well, all my short time with DTR security. I was bailed out by the timely intervention of another patrol in the area. Once we cleared them and I checked the last jump hole, they escorted me back to the Sanctum to deliver the wreckage of the Nomads. Perhaps command can figure determine something about how and why they were back in the system after so long.
Anyway, uh, that's it. I guess. I mean. I'm still shaking.
Buenas Noches, Security Control,
Reporting as ordered, Senor, though I must admit I do not relish this assignment - to be flying around the outskirts of the system patrolling while mis amigos are at Reincarnation dying for the Empirio is painful, you must understand.
Still, I do my duty. I've concluded my assigned patrol of Omicron Delta.
The short of it is that the enemy does not appear to have extensive resupply efforts underway, but the Nomads are gathering.
Theta Jump Hole was clear of nearly all activity. Apparently, the enemy is not actively using the hole for resupplying their siege.
However, as I left the vicinity of the jump hole, I received a distress call from Dabadoru station. They were being raided by a small force of Nomad. While the Apophis and their small contingent of fighters were holding them back, they expressed gratitude for my timely assistance, as my approach diverted the fire of the Nomads, allowing us to slice them up.
My brother has always been fascinated with the Nomads. He finds them “eerily majestic”. He’s always been a hopeless romantic. I couldn’t help think of him as I drove off the luminescent critters.
Freeport 11 was quiet. I investigated the area for any signs of the enemy moving supplies for the siege. The Zoners, while congenial, failed to provide any useful information.
My next destination was the murky nebula containing the Omicron Minor and Zeta jump holes. Unsettling as it was, the Nomads made it worse. I think they smell blood from the battle at Reincarnation. They circle like vultures, waiting to fall on the wounded and dying. Senor, I apologize. I understand that my orders were information gathering only, but I wasn’t about to let them. I cleared out several packs of them as they lurked on the edges of the nebula near the Minor and Zeta jump holes.
Long range scans showed Lichtenfelde was devoid of gathering enemies. There doesn’t appear to be a gathering there for the siege.
As I continued my rounds, I had an unexpected encounter. Two damaged Order ships were being attacked by Nomads. I eliminated the buggers and saw that the Order pilots were safely on their way. This left the area of the Pi jump hole clear, at least of anything living. The debris field from the battles at Reincarnation has drifted out this far. I’ve never seen anything like it, Senor. There must be wreckage of dozens of vessels out here, I wish I could find solace in the fact that the majority is not Corsair, but any spilt blood of familia is reason for mourning.
My final leg was the most treacherous. As I approached Yaren Base, I intercepted a dispatch of Core vessels moving to reinforce the area. I disabled them, but the Battleship Bellona sent a wing of fighters after me and I was forced to retreat.
That’s my report Senor. I hope you find it satisfactory, though, I do have a request. I know I’m out of order making the request, but, Senor, my brother is down there. He was on assignment mining Xeno relics when the siege began. I…I haven’t heard from him in a few days. I know that information going into and out of Reincarnation is under very tight control during the siege. There are many more important things than a lone sappy Xeno miner, but if you happen to hear any news about Achilles, Achille Callero, well, I’d be rather pleased to hear he’s okay.
I will be happy to provide you with an update. We've repaired all structural damage and all compromised systems have been restored. Critical systems are also green. I've also personally ensured that all software, front-end, and back-end are up to date with Corsair systems. You don't want to have any glitches during a real tactical encounter after all. Encryption protocols have been updated.
However, we've hit a problem with the shield generator. We'll need an additional shipment of ablative armor plating to compensate. After all, you will need something to soak up all the damage we receive on a regular basis in the line of duty.
I've documented the entire process including the retrofit. My analysis of the ship's capabilities is also complete. Once the ablative plating is secured, you should be ready for a test run. Let me know when the shipment is here and I will get a crew working around the clock.
