I had the pleasure of observing the fulfillment of a deal one of our people had set up with your group. I said it before and I'll say it again - I was impressed with the organization and thorough security your pilots displayed on the job. A trait often not found in your typical run-of-the-mill corporate operation. I'd be interested to know more about your group, and perhaps discuss the potential of establishing some renewable import-export contracts.

Greetings, glad that I'm getting to speak with you again and in a more official capacity this time.
Firstly, I apologise for getting back to you so late, I can only assume a neural net issue delayed me receiving your message. With that said, thank you for your kind words. It is a shame that in this day and age both the security of operations and one's staff are not prized more highly.
In regards to your offer I would very much be interested in discussing things further, both so that we might learn about one another and in the interest of taking up what contracts you might have on offer. A lasting partnership, at least as far as I'm concerned, would be a boon to us both and something I very much look forward to.
To that end I would, in turn, be interested to hear more about The Technocracy and where your interests lay. In turn I would be more than happy to disclose the nature of New Dawn to you, though I fear we may have a less interesting tale to tell than yourselves.
I leave the matter of how you would like to proceed in your hands. I am open minded to meeting with you if that suits, or we can continue our discussion here on the net, in which case feel free to specify what sort of details most interest you.
Director Lathrop, I appreciate you getting back to me. Worry not about the delay - I'm sure we're both occupied in our respective lines of work.
First, a bit about ourselves to satisfy your curiosity.
The Technocracy and its focus lies in the pursuit of knowledge. Research, science - even simple archiving of history. Knowledge is even sacred to some.
We look to technology and seek ways to improve ourselves - to better humanity. This could be for a variety of purposes beyond simple prosthesis. Optical implants, industrial applications and in some cases - even military. AI are a part of our everyday life, and we work together as equals. We seek to - independently of our own accord - develop an understanding of many of the mysteries in the galaxy, and forge a path for others who see fit to follow themselves. We are not warmongers. We are not out to spread our influence through propaganda or violent expansion. Rather, we just wish to be left alone to manifest our destiny, as it were. However, that's not to say we're not more than willing and capable of defending ourselves, should the need arise. We come from all walks of life, and look to the horizon as one people.
I hope that satisfies your curiosity. I have been here since the beginning, and would be more than happy to answer any further questions you might have.
I'd be happy to hear more about your Initiative. What they represent, what you specialize in - a brief synopsis, so to speak.
Now then. On to the business at hand, hm?
The fluctuations that led to many anomalies collapsing had quite the impact on the region we occupy. Our supply lines have been drastically constrained due to this, and past events in the neighboring region didn't help, either. We're looking to rebuild these lines, as our needs continue to expand. The initial contract you underwent was a test of sorts. in addition to the operative's own initiative to open a deal, it shined a light on a lasting business relationship that can begin right here, but truly it depends on what you specialize in.
Minerals? Raw or Refined? Consumer Goods? Food? Fuel? Mechanical Components?
These are all options on the table and much more - All of which I'm seeking to establish renewable import deals for. This would mean regular, sizeable payments for regular and timely delivery of supplies. Though, my offer doesn't end there. We can provide regional security, too. Escorts, and the like, for operations you may have in the area or abroad. I also made mention of the technological innovations our people have made. This includes augments and other cybernetic ware that have a variety of industrial applications, and can be tailored to suit your needs, just as flexible as this contract could be.
Like you, I am more than happy to discuss options. I hope the above has proven satisfactory, and I eagerly await your response.

I appreciate you being so forthcoming. The pursuit of knowledge is a noble one, that much is certain, but dangerous at the best of times. Still, it is not my place to lecture one who has dedicated their life to such a task. What you tell corroborates my own findings, sought out in the meantime, and explains the gaps in that self-same research more than adequately. You can consider my curiosity sated for the time being. It is a solid synopsis and I'm sure what I may yet wish to learn is better ascertained by expanding on the potential in our futures.
I suppose it is my turn now. The New Dawn Initiative is ostensibly a mining company under the IMG's greater network, though my interests have always been more on the side of surveying and exploration, seeking to expand the horizons of Sirius by locating new systems with usable resources. Maybe, if I may be so lucky, I will even live to discover habitable planets, that would certainly be the 'New Dawn' our organisation is named for. Obviously the Guild would benefit highly from such endeavors, but the fruits of our success would ultimately be shared with anyone that aids us in getting there.
Where our more day-to-day business is concerned we conduct our mining operations primarily within the Omegas, specialised in diamond acquisition and processing. Since then we have been looking to expand, diversify our income where possible and, more importantly, cooperate with those that might get us to our overarching goal. In that respect seekers of knowledge have a lot to offer, of that I need no further convincing.
Ah, but I have rambled on, haven't I? Let us get to the matter of our futures. As a Guild affiliate of considerable standing we naturally specialise in mineral resources, raw or refined, the choice is yours. Other than the standard Guild-fare of Silver and Niobium, we seem to have the market we seem to have cornered on diamonds within the IMG, contesting the Rhineland corporations for them in Omega-11. Beyond that we also find that Iridium and Gold are both within our reach, initial runs more successful than initially anticipated.
This is not to say we cannot expand to tackle other mineral resources for you though, so it would be best to name what you need in the quantities and frequencies you require so I can give you a concrete answer for each. Where payment is concerned, credits alone will suffice for the moment, though your more than intriguing offer of innovation and technology is of great interest to me for future discussion. I will consider carefully how we might reap the more unique benefits of our cooperation once our worth is proven to one another.
With all of that said I hope it comes across just how eager I am for us to work together, so hopefully I'll hear back from you very soon.
Diamonds, eh? Quite the tough business in the region, what with the well-known aggressive nature of groups like Kruger in the Omegas. Aggression I've seen working as a mercenary long before this role fell to me. That's not even considering the process itself, and the environmental hazards brought on from 11's sun. I'm delighted that you brought them up, as they and a few others are on the table for this deal.
The Technocracy has maintained a close and mutually beneficial relationship with the Independent Miners Guild for many, many years. A relationship which - through means of working directly with the Guild, and through affiliate organizations like yours - I aim to further strengthen the ties of. Our neighbors are, from what I can gather, specialists in exploration and research themselves: The Starfliers. Perhaps the three of us - and the Guild as a whole, can come to an agreement, or develop a plan to refine, expand and upgrade what expedition, exploration and sensor equipment we have in the future.
An import contract is being drafted by my associate Aether, which'll outline a specific list of minerals and supplies for importation into the Technocracy. The specializations you noted will help cater this agreement to your needs, and Aether's experience will ensure appropriate pricing is established so that your organization is well compensated on top of a flat sum. This flat sum can be set up to be paid out on renewal of the contract. Said contract will undergo final review before being presented here.
I'll see to it that it arrives within the next couple of days.
If you're looking to expand operations into the Omicrons for Iridium, there may be something we can provide in the way of security, training and assistance in the area, though you must beware - The Core will likely seek to extort any efforts you make in the region to collect resources. There has also been a rise of extremely hostile alien activity, which I hope your security personnel are trained in some capacity to deal with.
We have a very bright future ahead of us, I believe. One that'll see our hopes slowly move into the realm of possibility and reality.

It can be difficult at times, though Daumann presents far more of an active opposition than Kruger, if you can believe it. All the same we do well enough to confidently assert that supplying diamonds, as and when you need them, would be among the easier things you could ask.
I am more than happy to put my efforts behind the Guild's where diplomatic ties are concerned and what you are suggesting deeply intrigues me. A collective effort like this could bring us all closer to a shared goal here, one which all involved with should reap great benefits from.
On another note, I'll admit that I am interested in expanding operations into the Omicrons, yes. While it is nice to work with and under the protection of the Guild, my desire is to offer something unique in return. The Omicrons represent that in a resource that the Guild itself does not have ready and negotiated access to. You are, however, right to bring up The Core. I will not lie, I do not like their organisation for... personal reasons, but I am keen not to endanger my staff by carrying that distaste into New Dawn. Ideally we will avoid them, though maybe their pilots can be persuaded here and there with a few credits. Otherwise, if all else fails, I suppose we may have to consider force. The alien presence is also noted, though beyond deterring them with force or avoiding them there's little I can do beyond considering more 'militant' options. Either which way, I'd be more than interested to hear what ideas you have on dealing with these threats and expanded operations in that region more generally.
I suppose I will hear back on that after seeing the proposed contracts though. As such I will wait eagerly.
The Technocracy's Logistics Board has reviewed and finalized a renewable contract that we believe will be satisfactory to a long term, beneficial and sustainable relationship between us and The New Dawn Initiative. Auxesia has always been happy to work with The Guild, and any direct affiliates under their broad demographic. Furthermore, a request which was extended to our Expeditionary board in regards to your interest in Omicron operations has come through. We're pleased to report that they've approved providing survey assistance and security against the increasingly hostile elements in the area.
I'd like to thank you personally for your time, and Leviathan for building this connection. Attached below, you'll find the specified details of the aforementioned import contract. Deliveries made can be reported to this channel, where payment will be distributed accordingly. In addition to a healthy sum per unit, the Technocracy is offering a flat sum of credits for accepting this deal. Said deal can be renewed every three (3) months time, and we can further discuss amendments to the specifics when the time comes.

It is good to hear back on this matter. I will be interested to discuss further Omicron operations at a later date, but what has been said preliminarily is more than pleasing to me.
Therefore it should go without saying that, following an internal review of this renewable contract, I would be delighted to accept and begin work on moving the required resources to the Aergia Research Facility. You will find the contract has been signed and returned electronically along with this message. The generous sum of credits for contract acceptance can be transferred to the account NDI|Bank at your convenience.
I will need perhaps a week at most to make the necessary arrangements, but it may be that I can complete the delivery sooner. Please confirm when you have issued another temporary visa or otherwise arranged docking rights for our vessels so that I can best plan our deliveries.
Obviously it also goes without saying that we would be happy to assist with other, less regular requirements you might have, so do not hesitate to ask.
