The New Dawn Initiative is a registered affiliate of the wider Independent Miners Guild, seeking to focus on surveying both new fields and possibly even new systems. Currently they operate within the Omega region where they have positioned themselves as the Guild's miner and processor of uncut diamonds, funding their development in other fields.
Thanks to recent dealings with other groups, NDI currently have their eye on otherwise ignored systems within the Omega region and further afield to resources in the dangerous Omicrons. This has unfortunately brought them into conflict with Rhineland corporate interests and Corsair raiders.
Objectives
The Initiative's current goals are:
Profit from diamond mining and processing operations to fund other activities.
Commit to surveying operations in the Omega and Omicron systems.
Support the Independent Miners Guild in their efforts, primarily in the Omega region.
