Glad to see a faction with an old-fashioned structure and leadership come back, especially the inRP code of conduct. If one thing's true about Hellfire Legion, it's that the faction has been led well in the past. Looking forward to interacting with you.
I understand that this may not be as well reflected by past roleplay (or that the roleplay done was put up at a time before the leading figures out of this group joined in), but what would Prometheus' stance be on the Bretonian refugees evacuated to Yuma and Carlisle respectively, during the summer/autumn of 2022? From the infopage, this bit of story seems to have been glossed over.
My only question and really something I was hoping to see answered in this post, how exactly do you intend to translate your objectives to ingame? From what I can read, this faction is supposed to be Liberty-focused, yet I can't help but feel like it ends up flying anywhere but Liberty in actuality, from Omicron Delta to Gallia. This, imho, really harms the idea that the faction has a cohesive inrp identity with clear objectives being worked towards and falls into the territory of "we're doing what we feel like on a given day". If any of these concerns could be alleviated, and even if they aren't tbh, then awesome, I wish you the best.

Otherwise good luck, maybe my old HF char will at some point ever interact with you.
We are currently using the Auxesia Indie ID for the time being. I'm not part of the HC but that will likely change if and when we seek officialdom.

We have, to my knowledge, been primarily active in Liberty, save some few times some TFP have been out in the Omicrons doing work to help Auxesia - which to be fair, is expected - if you're going to be extended guests, it's only understandable that you help bring home groceries or take out the trash every so often. I'd say about only 15-20% of all activity for TFP is beyond Liberty and Vicinity, and we do have a record of active engagements with XA and other parties in the region itself.

Sure, that makes sense. Thank you.

We're currently using Auxesian indie ID, as they are hosting us. I'll add that to the end. If the next step after this story ends is another faction—and it may well be, depending on how the story pans out—we'll probably seek our own ID.

Much appreciated! The kind words mean a lot, and are particularly flattering to me as someone who set up most of those structures back at the beginning and has been that leader multiple times since. :P

This is a really good one, honestly, and one I have a lot of personal interest in. One of the core parts of HF in-RP that I myself added way back in the day was that we had a strong focus on logistics. After all, we had a huge fleet and a lot of bases. We don't have any of those things now, but our characters certainly have aspirations to return to those days.
For context, I was the second 1iC, John ( @TankTarget )'s chosen successor after the first 2iC (BestFlyerHere) really messed up badly several times in a row, screwed us over with several of our allies, and got demoted into the floor. When we started, we were essentially "what if the Order didn't know about Nomads and just parked in Vespucci and stewed in their anger for 15 years," with the added flavor of people being things like immortal supersoldiers from Earth who could crush suns with their minds because... let's face it, we were all preteens in middle school at the time and we thought it was cool.
The entire point of my changes to the faction during my first tenure was to turn us into a better-justified faction with deeper lore than just "revenj." Towards that end, one of my big changes was that I built out the lore behind our extensive logistics network. One of my biggest regrets, though, is that I never really got our trade and logistics division working in-game the way it worked in lore and backstory. I want to do it better with TFP, and have made a point of building that out this time. While Discovery's tendency to hunt tagged people, our difficult and complex diplomacy, and our lack of access to 5ks mean we'll never make as much doing this as we would silently afk-cruising an untagged indie 5k between Delta and Dublin, we're still having a lot of fun with it, running big convoys bristling with guns, roleplaying all around, and using them as part of our diplomatic efforts.
Speaking of those efforts, one issue we have in Liberty is we have very few allies. After we left the Hackers alliance that was always the Xenos, but they turned on the Commonwealth over the Bretonian refugee thing. This time, currently we have Aux and that's... basically it. Erie Zoners in theory, but we'll see how that goes in practice. As such, if we want to do anything but hide in Inverness and hope no one notices us (right as all of our main enemy factions except the Outcast alliance got bases or jump holes from their home into our backyard), we essentially have to seek allies outside of Liberty. We have fleets to repair and logistics networks to rebuild, and our position pinched between Liberty, Bretonia, and CR means ICly we are desperate to relieve that pressure—something made all the more apparent in-game by changes to Inverness in 5.1. Frankly if our morals allowed it our best shot would be the Outcasts, but IC we'd never work with them again. Most characters see the reliance on the Lane Hackers early in HF's existence as a great shame, and the idea of leaning on their even-worse patrons would probably cause an active revolt even if the leadership could stomach it.
That said, if you see our combat ships doing anything but buying their ship our ZoI, it's escorting someone, be it Aux, civilians, or one of our own trade ships.
As for how we translate our objectives in-game... well, I answered the logistics and diplomacy part up there. We do a lot of roleplay, we're planning to spin up a PR arm once we've gotten Liberty a little more active, and of course we fight—raiding Liberty or cardamine transports being a bit of a classic, but not all of it.

Anyways, good luck, let's bring Hellfire Legion back!
I do want to clarify, we're not "bringing the Hellfire Legion back." Its story ended. We are progressing the story of the fallen Commonwealth, not undoing what has been written. Do not expect to see a Hellfire Legion faction come out of this; rather, expect to see a story that may or may not lead to a successor faction. If it does we might use the old tag out of nostalgia, but it's not the Hellfire Legion. That faction was birthed of our youth. I like to think our writing has improved and matured in the interim.
That said, really appreciate the well-wishes, and looking forward to interacting with everyone. <3
I am very gratified to see such an attempt to increase RP around such a grand project. I hope very much to see this project succeed, and for it to ferment more such activity.
RP on this server is spotty and tepid at best, and I would like to see Disco move more firmly in this direction.
**Note to faction leaders: This is the way to do it.**
Bravo!!

Since this hasn't yet been addressed here, for Yuma, considering the CR's stance on Auxo and very likely by proxy us, I personally see it as pretty tragic, and probably dredging up a lot of complicated feelings in-rp. These people have landed in the hands of a foreign power which is very likely going to end up shooting us. The CR has also captured one our oldest ships, the Ven'Gyr (we know about this), and taken the crew as slave-soldiers (we don't know about this).
There's definitely room for a lot of interesting storytelling there, depending on how willing Crayter is to work with us.
As for Carlisle, I imagine we'd extend an offer for those people to join us, but harbor no ill will towards them. Regardless, that's a future concern - we're in no place to be taking on a large civilian population at present.
