-[FULLNAME: Ludwing Stein -[PLACE OF BIRTH: Planet New Berlin -[DATE OF BIRTH: 800.AS -[PREVIOUS OCCUPATION: Labor Worker -[PREVIOUS REPUTATION: Freelancer
----- <Biography> -----
Ludwig Stein was not your typical teenager growing up on Planet New Berlin in the New Berlin system. He was known to be a huge troublemaker, always getting in fights and making a general nuisance of himself.
The Rhineland police, responsible for keeping the peace on Planet New Berlin, had a long history of trying to reign in young Ludwig's chaotic behavior. Officers had to come into the school to break up fights he started, had to respond to petty crimes he committed on the street, and generally spend a lot of energy trying to keep him in check.
But none of it was enough to stop his outrageous behavior. It was as if Ludwig relished in causing trouble and terrorizing the citizens of the planet. It seemed that no matter what the Rhineland police did, Ludwig would keep coming back for more.
One day, the Rhineland police had finally had enough. In a desperate attempt to turn the unruly kid around, they sent him to a work camp in the far outskirts of the planet. There, Ludwig was put to work doing menial labor with little food or pay.
At first, Ludwig was determined to stay defiant in the face of the seemingly never-ending punishment. But over time, he grew to appreciate the peace and quiet of the work camp. Soon, Ludwig found himself embracing the labor and learning the importance of hard work and how to channel his energy in productive ways.
With determination and hard work, Ludwig eventually earned enough money to buy a cheap spaceship and leave the planet. He had no idea where he was going, but he wanted to get as far away as possible from New Berlin and the Rhineland police.
Subsequently, Ludwig traversed the galaxy aboard his vessel. However, he was eventually apprehended by the Unioner Movement, who ultimately rescued him from peril. As a result, he is now resolute in his decision to align himself with their cause.
-[FULLNAME: Annika Schüttler -[PLACE OF BIRTH: Kreuzberg Depot -[DATE OF BIRTH: 803 -[PREVIOUS OCCUPATION: Mechanic -[PREVIOUS REPUTATION: Unioner
----- <Biography> -----
Annika Schüttler's story is one of resilience and defiance against a system that had denied her the opportunity to pursue her lifelong passion for flying. Born in 803 on Kreuzberg Depot, a place known for its Junker lifestyle, she was raised in a family of scrap collectors. Her father, the proud owner of a Junker ship used for debris collection, was her first mentor.
From a young age, Annika had taken to the stars with her father, learning the intricate art of piloting and ship mechanics. It was a formative experience that cemented her love for all things related to space and ships. However, her family recognized the importance of education and sent her to Planet New Berlin, hoping she would find a different path.
Despite her tenacity and passion, Annika struggled to fit into the rigid educational system on New Berlin. Her heart was in the skies, and she found it hard to focus on anything else. Her dreams of becoming a pilot led her to apply to both the Rheinland Military and various corporations, but the class-based society she lived in presented an insurmountable barrier. Repeated rejections based on her lower-class background and lack of formal education only fueled her frustration.
As Annika observed privileged individuals from elite families effortlessly joining the fleets she had longed to be a part of, her hope dwindled. Her distaste for the lifestyle, politics, and people of high-class New Berlin grew stronger with each passing day. She had no choice but to work as a mechanic to make ends meet, all the while yearning for the freedom of the stars.
It wasn't until her early twenties that Annika made contact with the Unioners, a group dedicated to opposing the extreme class gaps and corrupt Rheinland government. This was her chance to return to the life she had always desired. Despite her family's objections, she joined the Unioners and flew under their wing, forming strong bonds and friendships within the ranks of the organization. For the first time, she felt like she truly belonged.
Annika spent three years with the Unioners, embracing their ideals and their cause. However, in the year 825, her wing was ambushed by the Rheinland military in the Köln system. The battle was fierce, and her ship barely held together after sustaining extensive damage. To escape the clutches of the Rheinland military, she had to flee the region, finding refuge on Freeport 5.
For the next two years, Annika decided to lay low. She earned credits by working as a mechanic on Freeport 5, a life that was less adventurous but offered a sense of safety. However, her desire to return to the stars never waned. After painstakingly repairing her nearly destroyed Arbeiter over the course of a year, her ship was finally ready to take flight again. Annika made the resolute decision to reach out to the Unioners once more, ready to defy the system and pursue her dreams of becoming a pilot.
-[FULLNAME: Mannfred Klinge. -[PLACE OF BIRTH: Planet Hamburg. -[DATE OF BIRTH: 800 A.S. -[PREVIOUS OCCUPATION: Unemployed, then briefly as stevedore on Alster Shipyard. -[PREVIOUS REPUTATION: Employed by Republican Shipping.
----- <Biography> -----
I was born to a poor family on Planet Hamburg. My parents worked for Republican Shipping. For a while it was stable, but during the Nomad War they were laid off. We scrimped and scraped by any way we could, until my father got a job on Alster Shipyard. Life was tough, but eventually I followed in his footsteps, unloading cargo from supply ships or stripping broken vessels for salvage. Unfortunately my parents passed on. I bet the working condition on-station certainly didn't help. I kept bringing this to the attention of foremen and the like, but I was told to get back to work. I could feel my own body groan and ache with each passing week. After a few more months, I was let go. "Not enough work Herr Klinge"... "We'd like to thank you for your efforts Mannfred". Total crap.
It was this that got me interested in the Unioner movement. I read up on them as much as I could manage. Being an illegal group made it hard to come by information. Luckily a few old colleages bumped into me while I was in a bar back on Hamburg. They slipped me a note and left soon after. It said to come by here, that my feelings were shared by others.
-[FULLNAME: Philippe Barth -[PLACE OF BIRTH: Planet New Berlin -[DATE OF BIRTH: 804AS -[PREVIOUS OCCUPATION: Engine Mechanic -[PREVIOUS REPUTATION: RGS Shipping
----- <Biography> -----
I was born on Planet New Berlin, and had as much of a stable childhood as can be expected in Rheinland. I got into an engineering school despite not really caring for the practice, it merely felt like the correct thing to do. Then I began to work with RGS shipping on the vessel Wohlstand as an engine mechanic, along with a couple other workers who, were ok I guess. I didnt care for politics of Rheinland, and ignored as much as I could to focus on my own life and social circles. I was starting to enjoy the work however, finding the work relaxing as opposed to the chore I had come to associate it with. Overall life was tolerable.
However as conditions got worse, and I further educated myself, reading various pieces of literature written by old members of the Sol Coalition, I realized that I did not want to devote my life to the corporate entities of Rheinland. I felt like the life was being slowly drained out of me, and though I enjoyed the simple joy of space flight, it upset me working for an entity that didnt care for me, on a ship that was not mine. I had failed to find purpose or satisfaction there, so I gathered up my possessions, bought a small freighter and left for the Nordheide where I encountered one of your patrols, I stated my intentions to join your cause, and that brings us here to the present.
-[FULLNAME: Ernst Ludwig -[PLACE OF BIRTH:Somewhere in the dark Corners of Rheinland -[DATE OF BIRTH:Arround 788 A.S. -[PREVIOUS OCCUPATION: provide Sirius and Rheinland to a better space -[PREVIOUS REPUTATION: independent scrap collectors
----- <Biography> -----
Rumors say a young Boy named Ernst got found by Rheinland's forces at a crashed Scrapping ship far our of civilization. The Ship could be something similiar as todays known Pilgrim Liner's but by far not that Modern and at least not a place for a little boy like him. Its not Sure if he was there as a Slave or as Part of the Familie of Ship Owners, because after the Rheinland forces came onboard he was found left behind and in between of waste and dead Bodys.
So Ernst's right day/month and at least Year of Birth are not 100% Known or right, he grew up in a foster family names Luwdig so its last name got changed to Ernst Ludwig.
Into the youth Ernst where known as a different thinking Boy, who run away from its non Blood Family the Ludwigs because these where close supporter's of Rheinlands Goverment.
Nobody really can tell why the Ship was shot and the People where killed, but for Ernst it was sure that it was because the Owners got problems with the Military forces of Rheinland, no matter why.
So he was always against this basic kind of living into presetted Rules and no goes, sometimes he got caught at attacks to local Shops, small Military outposts or even Prisons.
Thats was his Life up to the mid 30's here and there a coup to keep some income into his pockets. Until the Day he Meet someone who said ''i know you'' it was someone of his family, who was part of an group of Humans who where like him thinking different about all the things got wrong in Rheinland.
He couldnt belive that he wasnt alone out there and became a close part of this Group.
-[FULLNAME: Kurt Hermann -[PLACE OF BIRTH: New Berlin -[DATE OF BIRTH: 796 A.S -[PREVIOUS OCCUPATION: Structural Engineer -[PREVIOUS REPUTATION: Daumann Heavy Constructions
----- <Kurt Hermann, like most people in the entire sector, was a fairly standard person. He did not set himself any goals that he could not achieve, as he would say:
- "I don't make promises I can't fulfil".
He was born in the heart of Rheinland, on the planet New Berlin. His parents were employees of an administrative centre in one of the "districts" of the part of the planet where he and his family lived. He graduated from school with a small gap in his grades when compared to his peers. During his university studies, he developed an affinity for engineering, and after transferring from a law course to engineering, he went into his studies with a passion. After graduating, he was hired as a structural engineer at the Oder Shipyard.
After some time, he was made redundant, as he believes undeservedly, and realising that it was almost impossible to get a job in any shipyard, even as a simple repairman of light ships, he went to all odds. One night, in a bar, he heard about the Unioners, and was eager to join them, as he believed that they thought like him, and that they would get justice for the workers, no matter what the means. The Blade of Themis will affect anyone who treats or has treated workers unfairly. -----

-[FULLNAME: Torsten Afflerbach -[PLACE OF BIRTH: Planet New Berlin -[DATE OF BIRTH: 795 A.S. -[PREVIOUS OCCUPATION: Commercial merchant -[PREVIOUS REPUTATION: Imperial Shipping
----- <Biography> -----
Long story short, throughout my lifetime I've witness plenty of catastrophes and economic collapses, and in most cases the greed of humanity prevailed. Never was the case to solve things in the interest of the people, the common laborers. Took me a while to realize we're just mules in corporation affairs.
This changes today. Greed is a disease that must be eradicated.
