Büro des Marinenachrichtendiensts Schatten Research Facility, Frankfurt System
ADDRESSED TO:
Fritz Messer
Grand Opening
Herr Messer,
We would be most pleased to take you up on the invitation. As luck would have it, Quartermaster Kaufer of our Procurements department is in the region on business - and I would like for him to tour your new facility on my behalf.
Kai Siegfried, Director Büro des Marinenachrichtendienstes
I am pleased to hear that the Buro has such interest in our facility. I will ask that the armoury section be also opened within the hour, as we do have an inbound shipment of such systems directly from Planet Gammu itself.
Please do communicate my wishes to Quartermaster Kaufer to feel at home while on the base in the meantime.
To our most esteemed allies in the Federal Empire of Rheinland,
I am reaching out once more to discuss another APM project, supervised by myself and the Director herself. More precisely, this message intends to clarify Rheinland's willingness to cooperate with The Core in upgrading an AP-609 (from here on out, referred to as Jupiter as per the vessel's designation) with the assistance of Daumann, Military and intelligence advisors. To keep matters short and to the point, I am seeking an answer to the following questions by the respective representatives of each group, namely:
Would the Federal Empire of Rheinland be willing to approve, for a temporary period of time, the stationing of the Jupiter inside Rheinland borders, at Oder Shipyard, whilst maintenance and upgrades are made to the hull?
Would the Military of Rheinland and the Buro of Intelligence support an initiative by The Core to create a joint, improved design of a Mako-class Battleship, by working on the Jupiter?
Would Daumann Heavy Constructions provide the expertise necessary for such a project? If so, would Daumann Heavy Constructions be willing to temporarily lease a shipyard berth to AP Manufacturing for maintenance and upgrades to be conducted in?
To what extent, if at all, would the Military or Intelligence service be willing to cooperate with the Gas Miners Guild to secure safe passage through the Sigma systems for the Jupiter, due to their proximity to our frequent supply routes?
Do all groups informed by this transmission vow to maintain all shared information, be it in the form of schematics (blueprints) or material knowledge or artificial intelligence development / research a secret?
I will be waiting to receive a reply on these questions before proceeding further. If the Government of Rheinland requires of us to provide with part of or the complete plan for the AP project file, a declassified file may be shared.

Grand Opening
Herr Messer,
Given our shared mutually fruitful relations with the Core, the BDM welcomes this new collaboration.
We have some concerns, however, regarding any GMG involvement. GMG relations with Rheinland at large have been progressively more strained due to in increase of reports concerning GMG raids on Rheinland Military and Kruger vessels in Frankfurt and Luneberg, as well as circumstantial rumors of a possible collaboration with Hessian terrorists. While the Buro itself prefers to maintain a less hostile posture with the Gas Miners for the time being, we have reason to believe that an escalation may occur in the near future which may necessitate a more active Buro involvement. That being said, if the Core happens to secure a favorable diplomatic solution with the GMG, we at the Buro would not view this 'cost of doing business' as anything but that.
Regarding the other points, we have no objections and are willing to participate in earnest.
Kai Siegfried, Director Büro des Marinenachrichtendienstes
With regards to concerns around GMG involvement, The Core will only seek to secure passage for the Jupiter to traverse the Sigma region and enter Rheinland Space. Beyond that point, we have no interest in engaging with the GMG at present in this on-going affair.
The Rheinwehr would welcome the Jupiter withing Oder Shipyard for the maintenance and hull upgrades. Our engineers will be eager to assist your own in this venture. However, this should be further discussed with Daumann before we can continue, as they run the Station.
We are satisfied with the current fleet of ships Rheinland has to offer. Therefore we see no reason at this moment to go into a joint-design project to upgrade our ships.
The Rheinwehr will by no means cooperate with the Gas Miners Guild, due to their dubious reputation and recent acts of terrorism and warlike intentions. We are willing however, to escort you in and out of Rheinland space, including the Luneberg System.
Oberkommando agrees to maintain all shared information within this transmission channel, unless discussed otherwise.
Abmeldung,
Gunter Kunrad
Admiral der Kaiserlichen Rheinwehr
I am very thankful for the provided input. The project file will be updated shortly and details shared within the following hours. To a greater future, together, herren!
