Short introduction
Fort Torrelavega is the newest Corsair installation and was built and financed in July 1st 834 AS (750 AGS) on the orders of DTR.
The station serves as an external base for raids and as a gold refinery in Dublin to supply Crete with gold.
Fort Torrelavega
Fort Torrelavega.
The work on the Fort went without any major problems, as did the supplying for the station. However, extreme caution is advised at all times. Both the Bretonian Navy and Mollie competitors patrol the area, which makes deliveries more challenging. Nevertheless, we can get the most important supplies from Trafalgar Base in New London to ensure the operation runs smoothly.
As part of the project, the warehouses were also expanded in order to be able to store additional goods. Due to the overall risks within the sector, quick deployment was paramount. The station grew rapidly and was able to employ an additional 400 Corsairs to help repair the installation as well as build new modules.
Landingpad on Fort Torrelavega.
These additional levels of the station serve to expand the docking areas on Torrelavega. Since Santander can only field smaller craft, the station can support capital class vessels in need of urgent dry dock or repairs. In order to enable larger ships to dock, such as the Hegemon or the Deterrence fleet at large, the engineers have also expanded the landing pads and the docking bays. Given the urgency and risk in this area, these small improvements have enabled easier undocking from the station.
There are also other structural changes to be made, such as the construction of a hydroponics bay to produce our own food rations and oxygen. This would allow the crew to survive the long haul in the potential scenario that strong enemy battlegroups are present in the area for long durations. Of course, this requires additional DTR personnel to ensure smooth bay operations and logistics.
Industrial Refinery.
DTR mining Gold.
Finally, the gold business has been especially lucrative. While Deterrence has relied primarily on raiding and Xeno Relics in the past to fuel its economy, it's good to diversify potential income opportunities. Given the events in Theta, it is critical that Corsairs rebuild the losses at Freeport 9 quickly before our enemies can take advantage of the new realities. To that end, Deterrence has built a gold refinery to process the mined gold ore.
For the most part, work on the refinery took place without any major incidents and the operations are running without a hitch. However, escorts are going to be a frequent necessity during mining operations and exporting back to Omicron Gamma and our other teritorries.

Here we have the list of the most important goods that the Fort needs. Goods Receipt
I managed to smuggle some basic alloy for the station maintenance, I got told TorreLaVega needed them, so I delivered them from Crete. Also, good gold you have there, I might be getting some in order to finance my expeditions to Bretonian tierras hostiles.
I am writing to report on a successful gold mining operation for our base Fort Torrelavega in the Dublin system. In my frigate, the CCS>Vindicta.Eterna, together with the mining vessel CCS>NumachiNeko, we could mine and securely transport 4725 units of gold ore for refinement to the base. Unfortunately, our mining operation was interrupted by an attack of two Molly ships forcing us to retreat back to the base. Nevertheless, the mission was a success and our mined ore will further fill the gold chambers of our glorious imperio!
Please find below the documentation of the mining operation and our deliveries.
I managed to use our secure route from Omega five in order to smuggle some artifacts to Trafalgar, those junkers are really simpaticos folks.
From there, I got the arranged basic alloy cargo and delivered to the station, pretty simple task. Lot's of wrecks in the area, did a major war happen or something?
I have just returned to Planet Crete from an escort mission for a convoy of two of our transports with artifacts to the Junker’s Trafalgar Base in the New London system returning with our gold from Fort Torrelavega in the Dublin system. After undocking from Fort Torrelavega we had an encounter with one single Armed Forces fighter that insisted on trying to interfere with our convoy. Together with two of our other excellent escort fighters, I was able to eliminate it without major problems. After this short battle, our convoy continued to Planet Crete without further disturbances and could successfully deliver our precious gold.
Below I attached images of the mission including the destruction of the Armed Forces vessel.
This is Xavier, reporting the new deliveries coming all the way from our friendly provider nearby the station. I do believe this ones are stolen, not that we should care, whoever stole it sure did it from the Bretonians, because all is in English and not glorious Hispanical. I also took the freedom to pick some rum at the bar, delicious rum from Crete I see we have here, not that disgusting pee with alcohol those Bretonians call Gyn.
Well, thats all folks, always ready to supply the Imperio!
I have led a convoy to supply Fort Torrelavega with basics supply for the crew as well as for the gold refinement. We have delivered a total of 7576 units of basic alloy, 7773 units of water and 3150 units of MOX to the base.
We are currently loading our ships with gold for our return trip to Planet Crete, which should give you plenty of space to store the goods we delivered. Below I attached you the cargo manifesto for our deliveries.
