Today was a productive day for the movement. After passing her initiation on the Dresden proving grounds, recruit Danika Haseley was taken to the field commandeering her "Grendel" class black market frigate Saxifrage by two of our ranking commanders aboard the "Heimdall" class gunboat Befreiung and the "Vidar" class cruiser Ansturm.
First order of business for the day was to to continue our disruption operations on the trade between Gallia and Rheinland. On our patrol in the Zurich system we encountered a mining operation of gallic origin, they were more than happy to share some of the molybdenum they gathered with us as well as transfer a donation in credits to our movement. We vowed to visit their operation again and cooperate, workers to workers.
[01.06.2024 12:30:16] R\-Ansturm: Hello
[01.06.2024 12:30:38] R\-Ansturm: Woah, that's a lot of ore, good job there
[01.06.2024 12:30:46] GMS|Samieur: needing ore are we?
[01.06.2024 12:30:57] R\-Ansturm: Possibly. Do we need, guys?
[01.06.2024 12:30:58] R\-Befreiung: ?: Correct Herr.
[01.06.2024 12:31:16] GMS|Samieur: well help your self
[01.06.2024 12:31:18] R\-Befreiung: ?: Ore und money, for a good cause!
[01.06.2024 12:31:49] GMS|Samieur: what kinda money we talking about for your cause?
[01.06.2024 12:31:53] R\-Befreiung: ?: Kameradin Haseley will take some.
[01.06.2024 12:32:11] R\-Saxifrage: Oh ofcourse, excuse me i was typing a long letter to politely ask
[01.06.2024 12:32:37] R\-Befreiung: ?: You will drop 50k credits to Kameradin Haseley, the frigate as well.
[01.06.2024 12:32:41] GMS|Samieur: we know the drill and will cooperate
[01.06.2024 12:32:50] R\-Befreiung: ?: We wouldnt like all this ore, and your lives, go to waste would we now?
[01.06.2024 12:33:28] GMS|Samieur: which craft is Kameradin Haseley?
[01.06.2024 12:33:39] R\-Saxifrage: us, saxifrage, the frigate
[01.06.2024 12:33:48] R\-Befreiung: ?: The frigate you dense gaul.

[01.06.2024 12:34:34] R\-Ansturm: Feel free to continue. Thanks for copperation.
[01.06.2024 12:34:35] R\-Saxifrage: thank you for helping us fight for workers cause. Dont let the opressors bill you for this however
[01.06.2024 12:34:41] GMS|Samieur: safe flights
[01.06.2024 12:34:47] R\-Saxifrage: We are not here to rob you, we are here to rob your boss

[01.06.2024 12:35:23] R\-Ansturm: Haha, I'm not sure they take orders from merchants, Befreiung.
[01.06.2024 12:35:41] R\-Befreiung: ?: They take orders from the money makers.
[01.06.2024 12:35:51] R\-Ansturm: Also true
[01.06.2024 12:36:02] GMS|Andre.Morell: Unlike you money takers!

[01.06.2024 12:36:32] GMS|Moon's-Luxury-Yacht: safe patroles
[01.06.2024 12:36:34] GMS|Andre.Morell: Ja, best friend we ever had.
Following a successful raiding operation in Zurich, the battlegroup moved towards patrolling the corsair front in the Omegas. In Omega-41 we encountered a known supplier of the Cretan dogs, a lone Samura transport full of gold, quite the foolish endeavor. The petty pilot surrendered the gold to recruit Haseley's frigate which has been secured for our own needs.
[01.06.2024 12:55:51] Hantei: Greetings!
[01.06.2024 12:56:03] R\-Befreiung: ?: Halt Samura.
[01.06.2024 12:56:25] Hantei: I've cut all engines
[01.06.2024 12:56:29] R\-Befreiung: ?: Good day to be a Hessen isnt it Kameraden?
[01.06.2024 12:56:41] R\-Saxifrage: Indeed it is
[01.06.2024 12:56:41] R\-Ansturm: Indeed.
[01.06.2024 12:56:52] R\-Befreiung: ?: See the frigate over there?
[01.06.2024 12:57:07] Hantei: Yeah I'm familiair with it
[01.06.2024 12:57:10] R\-Befreiung: ?: I want it filled with gold, you will do it yourself, or we will pillage it off your wrecked ship.
[01.06.2024 12:57:24] R\-Befreiung: ?: Understood rat?
[01.06.2024 12:57:56] R\-Saxifrage: 2475 unit cargo capacity that you may jetison and be on your way.
[01.06.2024 12:58:49] Hantei: As instructed, can I proceed?
[01.06.2024 12:58:56] R\-Saxifrage: overcounted it seems, keep the change
[01.06.2024 12:59:06] R\-Saxifrage: yes you may
[01.06.2024 12:59:10] R\-Befreiung: ?: Be onn your way! Workers of the world cooperating once again.
[01.06.2024 12:59:21] Hantei: Enjoy and happy traveling
Once returned at the HQ on Vogtland, the new recruit insisted on partaking in the next patrol set for the Hammen Hole together with Kamerad Kiefer Schmidt piloting a MKII "Thor" class bomber and myself steering the "Jormungand" class battleship Utgard. On our way there the Omega-5 hole became unstable mid jump and threw us into the Earhart system for the first time. Although it was a first for us, we kept calm and looked for the way out as we had ample intel on the alien system from our Coalition comrades who had mapped it before us.
The patrol was nevertheless bound by faith to run into corsairs even here as we encountered and halted one of their ... luxury liners, which yes, made us question our sanity in this damned alien hole. How and why are the Cretan scavengers capable or desiring such ships is beyond our understanding at this time, meanwhile Kamerad Kiefer Schmidt scouted ahead and reported he found their on-going resource gathering operation. Following a good old threat of spreading their worthless guts all over their pristine ship the Corsairs agreed to pay us some and fill our recruit's frigate with the strange materials, we might hate the bastards but we're not going to shoot defenseless ships willing to cooperate with our demands. Once the unpleasant business was done the battlegroup returned to HQ via Omicron Delta exit hole.
[01.06.2024 13:33:49] R\-Utgard: ?: Guten Tag!

Some of you may question the rationale of this decision, but trust me, it was done out of pure necessity. Although another attack against us in Dresden from the military is highly unlikely, the makeshift flotilla of the bundschuh should prove a valuable distraction for them once operational. This will give us the chance to bludgeon the Cretan dogs from our home.
In other news, the Provisional Assembly of Dublin has informed us the Kaiser wet his pants at the thought of Mollys controlling the entire gold supply, and such, sent a military expeditionary force to assist their decrepit bretonian counterparts in quelling the unrest. I advise you to strike at the border traffic with impunity and grant some relief to our comrades in need.
Einen guten Tag an alle Kameraden, Frei reporting.
By now all of you should be aware that our fellow commanders from the "Sirius Coalition Revolutionary Army" have greenlighted the deployment of two XKR-EV-THREE "Hurricane" Mark-II Battlecruisers to integrate and enhance the combat capabilities of the Front's flotilla. The ships are currently going a general overhaul and retrofit operations upon Aralsk's drydocks and require a substantial amount of resources according to the manifest from the engineers.
To this end, our transport ships have already begun moving surplus parts and materials from Wolfsburg together with the rest of the commodities from Vogtland provided by our partners in the "Task Force Prometheus".
Meanwhile, the talks with the "AWES" insiders on Bonn Station have proven worthwhile, the Front was given ample transport itinerary intel leaving from the Ring. I hereby ask all personnel in reserve to present themselves at the HQ for the debriefing meeting on Operation Ostfront. Our supplies for this whole project will be strained depending on the success rate of the operation.

Einen guten Tag an alle Kameraden.
The last few days have been quite eventful. First, on 18/07/834, petrol elements reported the presence of a large Rheinland fleet in Dresden. Upon confirmation by Vogtland long-range sensors, independent Hessian and Rote Front attack groups were gathered to form a defense fleet. A few minutes later, long-range interceptors confirmed the presence of another attack fleet by the Corsairs. The situation was getting worse, but we formed a reasonable defense fleet with the help of our NWI allies from the Sirius Coalition. The battle was intense and long. We had to execute several hit-and-run maneuvers to survive against two enemy fleets. Our snubcraft and cruiser captains did a tremendous job by keeping enemy attack elements busy while heavy capitals provided excellent long-range fire support. We suffered some serious losses, but ultimately, we emerged victorious.
After this heartwarming victory, spirits were high, and the crew of Hessen demanded more. On 20/07/834, we joined the SCRA Heavy Attack group in New Berlin. Unfortunately, things do not go as planned. Due to the absence of snub craft and cruisers, we were outgunned and defeated by the combined efforts of RM and BDM.
On 24/07/834, we decided to mount another offensive in Stuttgart. A strike fleet composed of independent Hessians, SCRA and veteran elements of RHA entered the Stuttgart system, but.. to our surprise, we were greeted by Crayter and Corsairs with superior numbers. We were outnumbered and outgunned. Battleship Hessen couldn't perform well due to its exhausted crew and got disabled. Surviving elements confirmed that [RHA]RHGB-Gjallarhorn showed excellent fighting prowess by going against two Praefect class cruisers and one Tribunus class missile battlecruiser and disabled one Corsair cruiser before going down.
On 27/07/834, the command decided to change the strategy. A cruiser and gunboat raiding party composed of independent Hessians, NWI, RHA and Rote Front pilots entered the Frankfurt system. To our surprise, there were GMG, Unioners, Kruger, Military, MND and Corsairs already fighting each other. As usual, we were lacking in snub crafts and the opposition knew it, but this time, we had another trick up our sleeves. The extreme use of Flaks guns and GMG elements was extremely helpful in diverting enemy snubcraft attention and saving our cruisers. Rest was decided as our experienced cruiser captains swiftly got rid of enemy capital ships and we emerged victorious.
After all these engagements, we have come to the conclusion that we have to strengthen our relations with GMG and persuade them to increase their activities in Rheinland with the promise of full Hessian support. Moreover, we have to increase the frequency of raids on Corsair systems, as Legate attack groups in Dresden attacking us in our weakest moment is unacceptable. Gun cam footage is provided for thorough analysis.
Lahr here, reporting on an incident during our smuggling operations to and from the Dublin system. Our transport was unexpectedly halted by a freelancer ship tagged ACS_White_01, claiming to be part of "Artemis". As per the attached conversation, the pilot of the said ship started flaunting baseless accusations and threats toward the Front before leaving through the Dublin hole in New London.
Upon closer inspection of the neural net, it seems this pilot belongs to a freelancer group entitled Artemis Alliance. While their goals are not clear to us at this time, we found out that their installation in the Dublin system is being targeted for destruction by our comrades from the Provisional Assembly.
Suffice to say we should reach back to them and make our intentions clear.
[14.08.2024 09:53:53] ACS_White_01: Hessian hold it
[14.08.2024 09:54:06] R\-Uhaml: ?: What the hell?
[14.08.2024 09:54:23] R\-Uhaml: ?: Who are you to disrupt us, pest?
[14.08.2024 09:54:40] ACS_White_01: You high command decided to attack one of my bases
[14.08.2024 09:54:46] ACS_White_01: So as a favour back
[14.08.2024 09:55:02] ACS_White_01: Me and my operatives will make your Hessian lifes harder
[14.08.2024 09:55:23] R\-Uhaml: ?: Which base? You got the wrong intel scum.
[14.08.2024 09:55:26] ACS_White_01: This time i will let you go but tell all your high command do not mess with the Artemis
Sender:Rita Schønning Subject:Report from Aralsk Date:25/08/834 A.S.
Kameraden.
Schønning here, speaking from Aralsk shipyards. Kamerad Frei will be most excited to hear this. I have taken helm of the Hurricane-class battlecruisers Coalition has provided us with, and have evaluated their technical condition, performance and how accustomed our crew is to new ships. Results are reassuring.
Had a lengthy conversation with the crews of Thorkell and Askeladd. Discussed extensive drills, flight, combat and fire trials on dummy targets - feedback is mainly positive, main regrets referring to "sawed off" Tsar cannons, the notorious trademark of Hurricanes. One I share, but that's not something we can change. Unfortunately.
Got to see one of the trials with my own eyes - Hurricanes pitted against smaller, more maneuverable craft, and against each other. All with dummy ammunition, during which I evaluated Hurricane maneuvering and convenience should well suit the intended purpose of operating in Omegas rocky fields and outmaneuver the more bulky Corsair hulls.
There's another important matter to take note of: Coalition engineers and our crews both reached the consensus of necessity to replace the standart-issue Coalition proplusion system to easier accessible to the Front. Upscaling Vidar engines would take additional and unnecessary time and effort, while we have a readily available solution - the VP proplusion system, widely used and available around Rheinland to military and civilian pilots. I'm sure a backhand deal or a... confiscation can be arranged to suit our needs.
There is little else to add. Thorkell and Askeladd are ready for departure and will leave for Wolfsburg on your order, where we can run final trials and retrofitting as necessary - it'd be wrong to take advantage of hospitality granted to our assets by our allies.
Sender:Jörg Frei Subject:RE: Report from Aralsk Date:26/08/834
Guten tag,
Excellent news from Aralsk, Frau Schønning. Although regrettable, we were explicitly made aware of the staple front cannons' removal from the get-go. Your suggestion on fully retrofitting the engines with the VP propulsion system has been noted and approved.
As of now, you are ordered to commandeer the ships back to Dresden and dock them with Wolfsburg. The work on their engines' retrofitting process, and any other special equipment installation required, will commence once you arrive.
Sender:Rita Schønning Subject:Report from Wolfsburg Date:28/08/834 A.S.
Kameraden.
Schønning here.
I've spent the day aboard Thorkell running communication equipment tests and arranging recon and patrol wings corridor for the passage of our prized Hurricanes in preparation for traverse to Wolfsburg; it has delayed our departure by a good twelve hours but in the end, extensive preparations paid off and the trip itself was uneventful: we either avoided the approaching patrols, or our own combat wings made sure nobody will return to deliver the news.
Thorkell and Askeladd arrived on Wolfsburg safely, and are awaiting further steps. I suppose we'll be paying extra attention to convoys coming to and from Alster shipyard for the parts we need.
Yesterday marked a great milestone for the restoration of proper Hessian presence in Cologne. Our main fleet initiated a blitz attack in the system after receiving intel about ongoing Rheinland-Gallic coordination efforts. Assisted by a patrol wing of the Platform dispatched from Saverne, the Front successfully dismantled the enemy positions in a great show of force while suffering minimal casualties. With this victory, our campaigns in Cologne and Zurich to halt the cooperation between the two Houses are gaining momentum. We must continue our pressure on the route.
Reports also come positive from Omega-5: our comrades on Ronneburg together with a few wings dispatched from Freital have managed to destroy a large Corsair build-up in the system, pushing their beaten up forces back to Cadiz. Command believes the hounds of Crete plan to intensify their offensive against us here after their success with Freeport 9. We must not give them an inch.
Not all our recent endeavors ended in success. With the newly discovered Thuringia jump hole in Dresden comes another possible breach into our backyard. The Front's patrols, tasked with safeguarding this entrance, have been routed by a large buildup of Corsairs found mid-combat with the Military in the system. For the moment, we believe they are not aware of this connection, but this is only a matter of time. Our objectives are clear: we must scour the fields and destroy the Penitence before they entrench themselves even more in Dresden.
