Greetings and salutations, esteemed mister Morreti!
It has been a while since we last heard from each other, either directly or through my people; the overseeing of operations in Galileo has my time and attention stretched rather thin, alas, and the ongoing quarrel between corporations shows no signs of abating... as you yourself will have seen, I am told!
As the reports of the stationside security wings detail, you were present at the scene when an illegal Samura Industries mining op was intercepted by our vessels, and aided in their forceful removal.
You have my personal thanks for this; throughout my career I have championed honest competition, but Samura has regrettably never shared my outlook on matters and made ample use of any legal loophole or technically unaffiliated partner to hinder their peers.
Usually they send in their Farmers Alliance thugs, but I suppose they felt particularly brazen that day.
At any rate, again, you have my thanks; and as a man firmly believing in lending substance to gratitude, I would appreciate the chance to discuss ways in which I could be of assistance.
Could I interest you in a brief talk aboard my vessel?
I have always been partial to face-to-face meetings for a variety of reasons, you see. Certain matters are not meant for comms, they lack the personal touch physical presence lends (and are always liable to indiscretions by third parties besides)!
Of course, if you would rather over vid - I understand you are a very busy personage, after all - I will gladly oblige.
In faith,
Hancock M. Fitzgerald

Mister Fitzgerald.
Seeing Samura and all other corporate interests from the Houses run out of Galileo is a core component of the LFR's intended mandate regarding the independent worlds. Not the least of which because encroachment by such organisations is exclusively a detriment of all other regional interests.
It requiring force, on occasion, is a bonus. And I require no thanks for upholding the virtues of my country. But seeing as you have politely presented me with an invitation, I will accept.
To that effect, I can be there tomorrow. Does this work?

Mister Morreti,
I find no faults in your reasoning; any one corporation securing a hold on the region will come at the expense of all others, and the burdens monopolies impose are nearly always felt more dearly by those with the least means to oppose them, be they clients or other market actors.
In light of this, I look forward to hearing more about your designs for the Independent Worlds!
For that, tomorrow would be excellent.
Do you have any preference as to the location? If not, I would suggest Huron's orbit, in Ontario; it is a secluded enough location, and clearly well-protected by your associates besides.
