Hey. It's me. The sharp one.
How's the food? Found anything you like? I would hate to miss out on a good place to eat just because it's tucked away somewhere.
Anyway, yeah. This is not a social call. You've asked for info on the alien thing I saw, and I went through the logs. I might have... something. A ship scan, and a recording. But it's not very recent. Like, one and a half weeks old by this point? Dunno if it's any use to you now.
Operative Prophet has relayed the offer he made you to me. If you indeed have something to share, you may receive a reward of 50,000 credits for doing so. Should this something turn out to be of particular interest, you may receive a bonus of an additional 50,000 credits.

Captain Belmont.
Hmm. I should have figured.
Okay, so there I was, hanging out near Barrier Gate with a friend and a few questionable people, when suddenly this thing showed up. It was just outside scanner range, but close enough to talk. It hung around being all spooky until the Technocrats decided to remove it. They succeeded in driving it away, but not before it disabled their lead craft.
A few hours later it appeared again. This time, I got a proper look.
And it started talking. And talking. And talking. It was odd, like every word was accompanied by a rattling echo inside my head. And the two freelancer ships that were with it were really... out of it. Kept going on about how they are hired to defend this MND ship next to them when it clearly had alien written all over it. I think it did something to their heads. It might have been doing something to my head. I can't ever be sure with these things.
Here, I got a closer look when we attacked it. Most of the footage from the fight is corrupted, but I got something reasonably clear. Unfortunately, those poor freelancers defended it with their lives, I'm guessing through no choice of their own.
Thank you for forwarding this information. You have earned yourself 50,000 credits. If you wish to earn the bonus and if your logs are sufficiently intact, I would like transcripts of all communications that took place during these encounters, as well as the names and callsigns of all ships and pilots involved. The freelancers who fought on the side of the alien vessel are of particular concern to us.
Provide this information and you will have my thanks - as well as the additional 50,000 credits.

Captain Belmont.
Sorry, but I really don't have anything more to give you. Those comm transcripts got wiped when I... well, needed to record some audio for personal stuff. I'm trying to live a normal life here and having reminders of alien stuff doesn't help me with that. I guess I'll just have to miss out on the extra credits.

Miss Rivers,
The loss of your logs is unfortunate but, while you may not have earned the bonus, you have my thanks regardless. If I may allow myself a few words of advice regarding a normal life: Keep better company in a better part of Sirius.
