Hello both,
There has been a little development. I wasn't sure who to contact. Revenant, if you recall yesterday at the Freeport. There was this lost 'Plier' hanging out. The girl who kept calling out this this goddess of laughter. I managed to calm her down, she is sleeping peacefully besides me now, but I need some help. I was thinking of sending her Hans, the doctor, but I know he isn't a shrink even when he sometimes tries to be.
I'm calling her Risa since she didn't tell me her name, if she can even remember that. I don't think she's a danger to us, just herself. She just needs some help. I also thought of you Amy, maybe you can give her some comfortable quarters, make sure she doesn't hurt herself? She's malnourished so she'll need some help with eating.
Since this is not really an Auxesian matter, I would understand if there were no place for her since we're not exactly a mental hospital. If we call it a laughing academy, she might actually like that? I gave her the illusion this God of laughter exists, and she believes I am a servant like them. It is a little weird and I am not sure for how long I can keep this macerate.
Anyway, if you two could give me some suggestions of who to contact? Until then I think I'm stuck watching over her for a bit. I would really appreciate some help.
I am happy to hear from you although your message did startle me. You are one of two people ever likely to reach out to me by actual name and even then it is usually due to dire circumstance. However, I guess we can only play the hand we are dealt.
I will be straight with you though, I am not really sure how I can help in this case. We are currently standing by in Omega 48 taking on supplies, although the process is slow as we are having to shift loads via freighter rather than the preferred method of a mooring fixture so it may take us some time. Also, Titania is still a warship. She isn't really best equipped to deal with, uh, the mentally unwell. Our medbay is very much designed around gunshot wounds, broken bones and the like.
I think we should ask our old friend Hans anyway, his capabilities aside he may know someone better equipped to assist, at least in medical terms. Anyway. Doesn't matter. Once we're done with our house keeping I'll point the carrier in your direction and make best speed. We'll figure something out. Should anything critical come up between now and when we arrive, you know my frequency.
To what benefit does helping this clinically insane individual does it heed us?
Hmm... Our resources are limited already, and the last few outsiders we assisted, turned on us. Besides that, I don't think she would even pass psych eval. So that is a no go on sending them to our personalised care centers.
But what I can recommend instead, is that they go through MFE - who have specialist therapy programmes to help people integrate into society again. In addition, they do have more specialists and key hospitals for such matters.
John Holliday has a few certain key experts who help people who have been damaged. Ask him or Hans von Goeben should John not respond.
I have some speculation that this girl has suffered damage from substance abuse, which usually devolves into episodes of hysteria, delusional beliefs from said brain damage, particularly on the frontal lobe. Of course, this damage can... mostly... be reversed, but she could always relapse. Recovery will have to be something that she wants.

Hello,
It is understandable that we can't take her in. I know we are not a charity but leaving her like that would mean she either ends up hurting herself or someone will take advantage of her. I've watched her for a few days now. There has been no real improvements but she is a little less jumpy. I've talked with the MFE Healing Heart's doctors, and they offered to give her a room for the time being. I will talk to Hans whose expertise might be required to try and get to the bottom of this.
If this is drugs related or not isn't clear. They didn't find any traces in her blood that would suggest a use of substances. She just seems to be completely lost.
Thank you for the suggestions, I'll handle it from here.
