Greetings esteemed members of the DSE Board,
My name is Mark Harris, I am the Director of the Bretonian Mining and Fabrication's security wing. The reason for reaching out is quite the simple one in fact, we want to diversify our security assets further making our defensive power on par with the current threats both in our fields and house space and also for the longer travels our trading division might initiate. Our goal is the be able to have different ships adapted to different situations while also being able to also allow us to aid with other basic resource transport and this would the the place that brings us to the current situation.
We have heard that you produce a very able and agile ship that I dare say might even exceed our expectations and needs, in the name of "Longhorn" . We however while hearing about the good reviews, we have some curiosities regarding the "Longhorn" namely:
Guns class and number of available guns for each class
Long range capabilities regarding common type scanner compatibility
Cargo hold size and if there are certain restriction to materials
While the query listed above might pertain to our needs over here at the security division I have been told by my colleagues from the Financial Division, the boring bureaucrats as I like to call them, have advised to me to also ask about financial costs as represented in the list they have provided me:
I would also like to extend an invitation for the DSE Chairman and all relevant board members, in order to also go over some other partnership posibilities including but not limited to, protection services of DSE identifiable ships in Bretonian Spaces, relevant comodities exchanges and unlimited access to our instalations. Please do provide me with an availability schedule in order to make sure that we do the preparation on our end in order to make sure everything will be as smooth as it can be, given the recent activities in New London and Dublin. Also I would like to extend a tour of the mining field that our Mining Divison has diligently used for such a long time. However we can get over all of the details upon your arrival and also after adressing the request at hand

Howdy there Mr. Harris.
It's good to see your organization reachin' out regardin' our new frigate. I think I wouldn't be exaggeratin' when I claim that the Longhorn is currently the best solution for deep space and high-risk ops which require haulin' capability.
Now in terms of the specs, the Longhorn possesses the same basic armament of a standard gunship, with some modifications. In place of your main spinal-mounted railgun, a chin hardpoint offers a number of options regardin' offensive capabilities. In addition to the defensively-oriented mine layer structure, a much heavier capital-ship rated hardpoint ensures close to a 180 degree coverage of your stern and the bulk of the cargo. In short, the Longhorn is a defensively-oriented vessel with a power core to match, but may still be used in tandem with other security forces for deterrence-focused security and scoutin' ops. The full specs of the vessel can be found on our public information node.
The cargo hold has been reduced from the base model, the C5 "Bison", but is still among the most spacious on offer within its class. The inclusion of the hardpoints while retainin' sufficient cargo space requires additional mass, but new developments in material science, among other design improvements, have kept this to a minimum. Due to the power requirements, the most powerful scanning equipment remains outside of the design allowances, thought it is always possible to custom-build vessels which sacrifice some combat capabilities in favor of sensors. I personally would not recommend this even in deep-space scoutin' ops, but you folks would know best how to employ these vessels.
Now, regardin' the financials. The base price of the vessel is currently set at $8,500,000. This total is entitled to two basic discounts: 5% off of bulk orders of three or more vessels, and up to 5% off for close partners of DSE. Unfortunately, we do not provide any additional discounts based on haulin' requirements, as our own and sister corporate fleets have proven sufficient in meeting current demand. Further, the shareholders have currently decided against financin', but I will raise the question to them in a future vote. For now, we expect payment in full in advance of any construction, with satisfaction guaranteed, naturally. You may be interested in knowin' that our shipyards have thus far delivered on more than 20 order in the past two months, one of which included the veritable Barge-class mobile platform.
Finally, I thank you for the kind invitation, and I'll do my best to visit you folks in the coming months. There are a number of urgent projects that demand my time in Liberty at all hours, but after their completion, I'll be in touch to about a formal visit. Meanwhile, you and your people can feel free to stop by Susquehanna station over in Curacao orbit, or any of our offices in Liberty to receive regular updates about any order you decide to place.

Greetings Mr. Rolf,
It is indeed a pleasure to have the CEO give us an answer. I have to say that I am impressed, and I want to formally extend a personal invitation to the Isle of Skye alongside the previous one we made.
Now on the matter at hand, after a long discussion with our board of directors and the financial department, we have concluded that we would like to purchase two (2) Longhorns, at the earliest time of your convenience and availability. Please let us know when we can take delivery of them and where we can wire the money.
We do await your confirmation both on the ships and also to our invitation.

Glad to hear you folks found them Longhorns up to specs, Mr. Harris. Now all you need to do is send over the fundin' to our public instake node over at [DSE]Bank. I do have to warn you that we've been runnin' into some sourcin' issues, so order times may be a bit longer than during the previous months. But not to worry, we'll have the vessels ready for ya' before the end of the year, after we clear the current backlog.
Now regardin' your invitation - once I conclude some business over in California and receive an update about a certain minin' rights issue, I'll be at your disposal. Perhaps I'll ride shotgun on one of your Longhorns durin' its shakedown cruise - that's sure to give my security chief a few more grey hairs, eh? Meanwhile, don't hesitate to reach out about any other business proposals you've got, and we'll really have somethin' to discuss when I visit. But until then, I'm at the disposal of our vaunted shareholders.
