Starting Friday morning (10am UTC), the event will run uninterrupted until end of day Sunday (11:59pm UTC).

The event runs for 16 hours per day (from 10 am to 2am of the next day UTC), which are peak server hours.

I am a bit surprised at the sudden problem...

As an American, I'm scratching my head on this one. Unless these folks are working 16 hour shifts for a week straight, I'm not sure where this lack of availability is.

To make sure everyone is on the same page, as an east coaster, 10AM - 2AM UTC equates to 5AM-9PM. Can a fellow American explain how we are being screwed here?

I, a European, can trade for an entire evening from 6pm to 2am if I so choose.

You, an American, have to stop at 9pm. You do not have a choice. God forbid someone lives on the west coast.

Because if you live on the west coast you have a window of 2 AM to 6 PM to play. If you have a job you're more than like working until at least 4 or 5 PM.

I'm still unsure why the time has been targeted with such ferver. Again, unless you work an outlandish amount of days or hours (you would barely have time to play games as it was anyway), I'm not understanding the disconnect. Even if the event is running for 24 hours and without a 4 hour break, some timezones will luck out better than others whether it's for player interaction or profiting off the event. Just ask @TheKusari or any other player living in the Kangaroo timezone (shots fired?)

Granted, I'm not sure why there is a gap in event times. I can name some reasons that I can personally think of, but I don't know for sure. I'll ping Jammi to address the reasoning. It's just confusing that, of all things to target, this is what's being focused.

I'm not sure why you think anyone that works a job with even a short workday of 8 hours plus you know, expecting them to also to want to sleep for presumably a similar amount of time is going to be able to actually log in and take part in the event when the entire event either happens when they're at work or asleep.
