I trust this message reaches the OSI leadership in good spirits. My name is Blake Woodrow, though most Zoners call me "BW." I write today to express my desire to join Omicron Supply Industries as a transport crewman.
To give you a little background, I was roused from cryogenic suspension just three years ago. Cryer Pharmaceuticals, formerly known as Scott Pharmaceuticals, were able to stabilize an "infestation" I had picked up. How I came to need cryogenic treatment is a story that begins in 768 AS, when I was part of a Bretonian Armed Forces exploratory mission. Our mission, led by me and fellow pilots Anthony Stokes and Gerald Tarquin, took a turn none of us could have predicted.
While trying to establish a new trade route back to Bretonia from Omicron Alpha that didn’t involve Cardamine, we discovered an unknown jumphole on the edge of Sirius space. As we approached, radiation levels began to climb, deteriorating our ships. With no other option, we ventured through the jumphole, hoping for safety on the other side. What we found instead was a stunning pink nebula that disabled our scanners and comms. After hours of blind flying, we found an unknown planet. The atmosphere seemed breathable, and we made planetfall.
That's where my memory stops.
When I awoke, it was 811 AS, and I was in a Cryer facility on Atka. My wingmen were never found, and I doubt they ever will be. How I ended up in Sigma-17 is still a mystery. All I know is that I survived, and since my recovery, I've been trying to piece my life back together. Freelance trading has been my primary source of income, but I’ve longed for something more stable, more meaningful.
Through my travels, I’ve connected with many Zoners. Whether it was over a bottle of Vodka Sidekick at Freeport 9 or trading alien organisms en route to Cambridge, I found myself drawn to their way of life. The freedom Zoners enjoy, coupled with a sense of loyalty and duty, resonates with me deeply. I believe that freedom is a gift worth preserving, and following orders—especially those that come with that kind of liberty—is a small price to pay.
I’m hoping to bring my experience, my adaptability, and my story to OSI. With your reputation for navigating the farthest reaches of Sirius, supplying the most remote outposts, I believe this is where I can make a real difference while embracing the life I’ve come to love.
Please consider my application for a role within OSI's transport division. I’m confident I can contribute to your trade efforts and would be honored to join your crew.
I appreciate your time, and I look forward to the opportunity to discuss how I can be of service to OSI.
To: Omicron Supply Industries From: Carlson Subject: Application to Join Omicron Supply Industries
Dear OSI Recruitment Team,
I hope this message finds you well. My name is Carlson, and I am writing to express my strong interest in joining Omicron Supply Industries as a trader. Having worked as a Zoner for many years, I believe that my experience, combined with my passion for the Zoner way of life, would make me a valuable addition to OSI.
Background and Early Experience
My story begins in the Edge Worlds, where I was raised as an orphan within the Zoner community. Without any known family or surname, I’ve lived my life simply under the name “Carlson.” This has shaped me into an independent and resilient person, entirely focused on creating my own path in a galaxy that often provides little support to those without connections.
From a young age, I worked aboard various Zoner ships, learning the trade and navigation systems from experienced captains. My early work as a deckhand and junior crew member was invaluable in teaching me the importance of resourcefulness and teamwork in the uncharted territories of space. It wasn’t long before I became deeply invested in interstellar trading, particularly in the Omicrons and Tau sectors.
Establishing Myself as an Independent Trader
By my early twenties, I had saved enough to purchase my first freighter and began working independently. Over the years, I have completed numerous successful trade missions between Freeports and distant stations, consistently navigating hostile territories with minimal assistance. My work has primarily involved the transport of essential goods and commodities to remote outposts, where trade is often the lifeline for these isolated colonies.
Despite my success as a solo trader, I’ve come to recognize the limitations of working alone. The trading opportunities I’ve encountered have grown, and it’s clear that to reach the next level of operations, I need the support and network that OSI provides.
Interest in OSI and the Future
During my travels, I’ve frequently crossed paths with OSI traders. I’ve always been impressed by the professionalism and reputation your organization holds, both in terms of large-scale logistics and your ability to negotiate with the House systems. As a Zoner at heart, I value the independence we maintain, but I also see the strategic importance of working with a structured team like OSI to facilitate more significant contracts and reliable trade routes.
I am particularly interested in joining OSI because of your capacity to manage large contracts with House space factions, allowing Zoners like myself to maintain their independence while still benefiting from structured trade operations. I firmly believe that my experience, adaptability, and commitment to Zoner ideals would align well with OSI’s mission.
I would be honored to discuss how I could contribute to OSI’s ongoing success and how your organization could help me grow as a trader. Thank you for considering my application, and I look forward to the opportunity to speak further.

Greetings and salutations. My name is Captain Jack Barton, skipper of the Pork.Chop.Express. I have come to OSI with a request to join y'all.
My family have been Zoners for generations, however being a Zoner has a different meaning these days, the respect the name once had is gone.
Zoners and Militants have maligned the good name, that is why i have come to OSI, I simply want to live and work in peace. OSI is known as a extremely respectable and honourable organization.
I wish to add my name to your ranks, please consider my request, i will be a great asset.

To:Omicron Supply Industries - Recruitment From:Bobby Buildux Ship Transponder ID:.Mercury. Location:Omicron Zeta - Kadesh Orbital City
Hello,
Allow me to formally introduce myself, My name is Bobby Buildux and i am interested in applying for a trading role within OSI.
I believe i will be an asset to OSI, I was born on Planet Erie in Pennsylvania and lived a rather typical childhood. My parents were not particularly wealthy but were not entirely poor either but they did have me later in life so upon graduation they decided to talk with me in regards to my future plans, see what i wanted to do as they are now older and will not be around forever, it was decided that they were going to pull together every bit of funding they could (including downsizing the family home to a more suitable home for their retirement) to send me to Valley forge flight school.
Valley Forge was a good experience, i learned alot, i focused my time there on transport vessels as i am more interested in travelling as opposed to blowing stuff up so i thought why not travel and make a living, my parents had both passed away by the time I graduated the flight school but had left me a small inheritance which i used to buy a Ceres armored transport and some living quarters aboard Bethlehem station which is where i really began to see the difference in living freely as opposed to house rule.
In no time i had made some friends aboard the station whom i shared ideals with and they began to show me the local ropes so to speak, was most certainly another valuable learning experience, i learnt how to identify suitable commodities and plan/execute long routes to make a decent living, i learnt how not to be caught up in todays local house politics while still being a free Zoner, they were truly some amazing people to meet and learn from but i wanted out of Pennsylvania as had become too Liberty like for my care.
My living quarters were tying me to Pennsylvania so decided to sell them off and use the money i had earnt trading and the proceeds from my quarters aboard Bethlehem and trade in my Ceres for a much more substantial vessel capable of further and more sustained flight and cargo loads. I purchased a "whale" deep space transport and took what i had learned from the flight school and aboard Bethlehem as well as local trade routes and pushed further into deep space than i had ever been ending up in Kadesh Orbital City in Omicron Zeta, Now while this was an adjustment it was certainly worth the while, the scenery, the people, the freedoms.....amazing.
I have been based out here for a couple of years now and is the best decision i ever made, friends from all walks of life, trading and cargo runs all over the outer systems and some of the best scenery space has to offer all free of house politics and what not. I have seen OSI vessels around and have always admired the pilots and really aspired to be one myself some day due to the shared common interests and practical knowledge they possess, you have some grand people among your Staff, i had the pleasure of being greeted by this same Staff member again upon another journey i was undertaking, it is with these interactions and from what i have witnessed over the years of OSI that my ship and i will make a great addition to your team, my parents would be proud i just know it.
Thank you for taking the time to consider my application and i look forward to hearing from you in the future.
