I am writing to inform you that our highly skilled ingenieros and their assistants have safely arrived at their destination Reincarnation Outpost in Omicron Delta. Thanks to our highly innovative Jumpdrive and Hyperspace Matrix technologies mounted on my ship the CCS>Mykonos as well as our partner ship, the CNS>CasaDelGatito we could drastically reduce the normally quite extensive travel times for the journey.
Despite the presence of a small Molly fighter craft that was taken care of by our brave pilots at Fort Torrelavega, we could jump initially to Planet Crete for a short stopover to meet with the CNS>CasaDelGatito. Shortly after, we proceeded to Reincarnation Outpost where we were greeted by the ElGatitoFurioso just outside the station.
Our transmission encryption systems seem to work excellento since none of our enemies tried to intercept the transport or even came into scanner range of my vessel. I will remain stationed at Reincarnation Outpost until our ingenieros are done with their work and will inform you as soon as I return to Fort Torrelavega.
I just dropped off 5,000 units of gold ore to your crew on dock 1. Should be all of finest quality and give you oro excellente after refining. Most likely, I will head out again soon to get some more before those pesky Mollys or Bretonians take it.
I am pleased to report that the ore refinement experts as well as their assistants have successfully completed their task on Reincarnation Outpost and were just transferred back to their original post on your base Fort Torrelavega.
All crew members are in good health, although some complained about minor stomach issues possibly caused by the hyperspace jump. Surely nothing a good Cretan rum and the sight of gold cannot fix. Anyway, I hereby hand them over again into the duty of your capable hands.
Gracias for your help and service to the Imperio Corsario.
Glory to the Imperio! Marcos Espinoza, Logistics Officer
We are proud and delighted, but not surprised, that our compadres from Torrelavega served this duty in an exemplary fashion and are happy to have them back. Such experience as they have gained there in service to the Imperio could only have made them even better. Their return is welcomed as there is always much work to be done in Dublin.
We thank you for their safe return, and wish you all an uneventful trip home.
Imperio Corsario para Siempre!
Saludos, Capitan Piernas Rojas Fort Torrelavega Administrator
I'm beginning to spend more and more time in this Dublin system. I am not going to lie, I'm starting to like the money that can be done here. My congratulations for the management of the station and for the opportunity to sell so much Ore from these filthy Bretonians. I found it's quite the bargain. Only today I managed to mine like... 5? 6 batches of Ore? Eh, you'll see the manifests attached below. I think our hermanos in Gamma will be pleased to hear about the stocks on Gold that are constantly being refined on Torre!
On our routine patrol through Bretonia, my squad has found an unwary Molly transport carrying precious gold ore – an opportunity too good to let it pass! After stopping the vessel, the captain refused to cooperate so we had no choice but to extract his shiny cargo by force. Our vessels took all the gold ore we could carry and returned it safely to Fort Torrelavega for further refinement.
I am sure your crew will be glad to process it.
¡Hasta la próxima!
For the Glory of the Imperio Corsario, Cmdr. Javier Hernandez
I delivered 15,000 units of gold ore to your crew on dock 2. My amigo DTR-Plomería was actually a
gran ayuda in filling up my Hegemon miner, so he deserves his credit as well. I am sure the ore will keep your guys in the refinery busy for a while and away from the rum at least during working hours.
The administrador has reported an upcoming shortage of supplies on the station, so I took the freedom to head out to our amigos from the Junkers at Trafalgar in New London to deliver some Basic Alloy, Water and MOX. I even encountered a wreck with few unidades estándar de oro on the way, which I gladly tractored on board as well. Who would have thought there is still something useful left in those wrecks scattered in the Cumbria Asteroid Field in New London after all these years?
The Junkers, happy to see me so frequently, actually gave me the supplies for quite a bargain. If only they had rum in their bar, I would consider staying there longer… Anyways, I returned with the required resources and attached you the cargo manifestos below!
While marauding around Bretonia, I decided to stop at Trafalgar Base for routine maintenance and resupplying. Meanwhile, I took some of my crew members to the station's bar to hear the latest rumors, as well as get some drinks. Shortly after we arrived, we encountered a small group of fellow Corsarios, who complained that the local Junkers did not have any Cretan rum for sale. Not content to let my fellow hermanos and hermanas suffer such indignity, I immediately ordered my crew to return to the ship, and set course for Fort Torrelavega in Dublin, carrying a small load of MOX to help supply the base's refinery. The trip was short and uneventful, and the cargo arrived safely despite hitting some mines along the way.
As soon as we docked at Torrelavega, it was time for action. I ordered my crew to fill our cargo hold with the finest bottles of Cretan rum available for sale at the base. After a while, they managed to load over a thousand cases of rum into the ship. Once it was all secured, we bid farewell to the brave souls aboard the fort, and set a return course to Trafalgar. Little did I know, this is where things would get spicy. There were no bogeys near Torrelavega, but when we arrived at the jump hole to New London, two unidentified BMM ships had just appeared from it. Knowing that their jump systems were still on cooldown, we simply rushed into the jump hole. Arriving back to New London, I ordered navigation officer Gomez to direct us back to Trafalgar. Unfortunately, a few thousand meters in, we encountered a Bounty Hunter gunboat and yet another BMM ship, forcing us to make a quick evasive maneuver in order to leave their scanner range and be able to safely deliver the rum to the Junkers.
Right after that picture was taken, the Bounty Hunter from earlier, callsign Aegis|Metis arrived in the proximity of Trafalgar Base and started circling it menacingly, while boasting about the allegedly enormous bounty on my ship. In little time, the three BMM ships seen earlier also arrived: BMF|Fs.Harlech (frigate), BMF|Fs.Lancelot (gunboat) and BMF|Fs-Longbow (Longhorn-class transport), and also started to circle the base like birds of prey. Fortunately, a Praefect-class cruiser, callsign Painite, was also present at Trafalgar and immediately offered their support. Through my ship's communicator, I ordered the four bogeys to leave the perimeter of the Junkers' station. My command was unsurprisingly ignored, so we proceeded to engage the targets, quickly dealing heavy damage to their shields and starting to punch through their hulls. We expected further resistance, but the cowardly Bretonians and Bounty Hunter instead decided to quickly retreat from the area. Nevertheless, we were able to catch up to one of them and teach him a lesson.
Finally, after disabling that pesky gunboat, Painite and I decided to return to Trafalgar before more Bretonian reinforcements could arrive. Once our ships were safely moored, our crews headed straight to the bar. We began uncorking bottles, and celebrated having saved the day. No one, Bretonian, Bounty Hunter, or whoever else, shall interfere with shipments of glorious Cretan rum.
Gloria al Imperio Corsario, Commander of the Mors Certissima
I dropped off one Essedarius load of 4,450 units of Industrial Materials in the docks just now. Seems like our storage got a little empty in that. I will make sure to also bring some fine Wildcat Gold away to Trafalgar for my next supply run.
