OK, a couple of things to remember here. Xeno's operate ONLY in liberty. Nowhere else, there is no need for them go go any further afield than Shikoku, and I can't think of any good reason to go there, other than to blow up the Jumpgate. (if only that were possible)

That's correct, but we wasn't out on any operation. Only trying to get some cash so my friend could get rid of that BHG ship.
But that would be against my role playing spirit!
In the great game Neverwinter Nights (it's great for RP) you would be banned for transferring money and items from one of you characters to an other.
And I wont do that, I think it's very OOC to do so. I know that many people that plays FL do so, and that it's allowed on the servers. But I wont take a part of that.
And I only want one character, I see no need to have more.
If I would make a new character it would only be a disguise for my character, a alternate identity. But that wouldn't be needed if people didn't have psychic powers and immediately know my name when they see me for the first time.
I know it's not in the rules but I also think that's wrong to do.
Having a trade character prevents Xeno tagged and ID'd ships coming to alpha in order to do outcast missions to get cash for a ship. I consider that far mopre ooc than just sticking a bunch of credits onto a char as it starts up. It means that your ooc time during setup is much reduced.

Setting up a disguise isn't that hard... hell, I pulled it off well enough that I gave the ship to a different character and no one but my friends (who already knew about the disguise) knew it.
The trick is not to mention the name on the forum, and to pick a name completely different from the character in disguise. When I did it, it was BPA)Blake.Sullivan in disguise as the freelancer Livos, and I can say that now since Blake's disguise ship was sold to another freelancer named Samuel Elridge.:)
Ofcuase it's not hard to make a disguise character. But it shouldn't be needed!
Unless someone care to explain to me why everyone knows my name, my affiliations before even talking to me?

Right... why don't we start with very much money so everyone could get their respective faction issue equipment then?
I want to play advance from the bottom to the top with my character. Not give him money from an other character so he can take the easy (cheat?) way to the top.
I've done both, transfering money and earning everything. In fact, one of my on-going projects is an Interspace pilot who's earning all of his ship upgrades (and this is a fighter pilot, so it's not as easy as you'd think)
But for any character likely to run into a fight - for example, a Xeno - earning it takes too goddamn long. My Lane Hacker took two weeks to earn a Slipstream, with the advantages of easy, well-paying missions and quick retreats (nothing quite like running from bombers in a Stiletto). My Interspace pilot is still in a Kadesh Light Fighter - a ~50,000 credit piece of crap.
And you want to work for a bomber. Amusing. You do know what that'll cost, right?
Six and a half million for the bomber.
Another couple million depending on the weapons:
Seven million for a Supernova cannon.
Two million plus ammunition costs for a Nova torpedo launcher.
Four million per Mini Razor.
And without one of the above three weapons, a bomber's really rather pointless.
Intentionally avoiding transferring funds to a character is handicapping yourself. There's nothing wrong with doing so, but don't complain when your self-imposed handicaps start becoming a problem.

Affiliations: If you're carrying Xeno Terrorist ID... you might be a <strike>redneck</strike> Xeno terrorist.
Name: Funny thing, that. If you didn't register your ship under your own name, people wouldn't know your name - I point again to Livos, as well as to nearly any capital ship on the server, a sizable number of transports, and more than a few pirates, bounty hunters, LSF agents, and mercenaries that use a ship name, alias, or callsign rather than the name of the pilot or captain.
Ayem was my first character and I went all the way to falcata with full modules purely by doing missions at Malta/Cali and then when I started to be thrown against caps in the missions I moved down to Arranmore and hunted corsairs for the Mollies (25k per corsair pilot).
Took a while, screwed up my rep a little (green police?) but it was fun.
Supernova + Inferno = ~15mill.
Top armour module =~ 15.5mill.
Don't know if a Xeno could have an Inferno though, but then you'd want a cruise disruptor in one slot for traders and such, no?
By the way, I was in my falcata with all these modules inside of two weeks. It doesn't take too long, but you have to be far more awake than a trader. I went through many cups of tea.
