it would be great to find a special jump gate, that would let you go back in time, to the time when the dom'kavosh were around, and meet the nomads in force.
Hey, that would be cool... like opening a new realm of the past? Maybe a new series of systems:P With the technology we have now, we should be able to time travel...
this would probably require cloning every single system in the mod, and then altering each system's content significantly. I dont think it would be worth the effort required. Plus... we have no models for dom k'vash to use planetside or in stations, and we have no idea what they look like.
Something just went through my mind. Why haven't I seen any remainings of their stations or ships? We could have added something... Some wrecks or something.
I wrote a really funny FL story, but it disappeared when the old forum went away. So, no lulz for you today.

You can only travel to the future, not to the past, and even this traveling forward in time isn't real time travel, but just time affecting you less than the outside world. If you are flying at very high speed (which you do in FL with the constant FTL travel), time passes faster outside of your vessel than inside of it. Travel to the past, however, is impossible, as the past is already set.
As for the idea; nah. Too much effort, without any real gain out of it.

There's one in newcastle, the dyson sphere (omicron major) is also a dom k'vash relic. There's a nomad jump gate in omicron minor which was built by the dom k'vash as well.
The remains are there, we just dont have all that many of them - most are probably buried deep underneath the surface of the planets we inhabit.
There aren't any real relics around because the Daam K'Vosh didn't "flee" Sirius like everyone seems to want to believe...
If you haven't read the developer-provided Nomad Backstory linked to here you should do so before continuing in this discussion. Read the Liberty one too, it has a lot of important stuff about jumpgates, tradelanes, docking rings, and most relevant for this discussion, Valhalla 1.
You wouldn't be able to kill your own grandmother before she gave birth to your mother etc unless you were from another universe.
Something would stop you, something would HAVE to stop you if you stayed in the same universe.
In another universe though, kill all the grandmothers you want, you belong to another universe and another grandmother.
