Ageira technologies is one of the "Big Three" of Liberty's business world, they are the leading company in research and development. With the high demand of expanding ones borders Ageira Technologies has become quite the powerhouse as the only producer of Jump Gate and trade lane parts, and along side Deep Space Engineering the company remains the only other transporter of Jump Gate and trade lane parts to all of the houses of Sirius. On top of that they are the inventors of the "Valhalla drive technology", and many produce commodities such as light arms, super alloys, and Super Conductors.

History
Founded in 44 A.S. under the name Valhalla Research the company received major backing from interests in the government and military by unveiling a breakthrough in materials research. By studying the great sleeper ships used in travel to Sirius Valhalla Research managed to discover a way to miniaturize the same drive technology that was used in the ship, on top of that they also improved on the design by increasing the power and efficiency of the drive. This new "Liberty Engine" allowed the travel between neighboring star systems could be accomplished in a matter of months rather then years.
In 96 A.S. with the arrival of the LCC Einstein in Rheinland the first real-time communication is made in that communication business is conducted and a technology swap is made: Valhalla's new "Valhalla drive technology," is exchanged for Rheinland's advanced information on construction technology. The technology would be studied but nothing interesting would come of it until the arrival of the LCC Edison in Bretonia in 106 A.S. A deal is made with the government and Bretonia exchanges it's advances in materials technology for the new engine designs. In 120 A.S. Valhalla Research revealed their latest technological wonder in 120 A.S. Using the advanced construction and advanced materials technology gained through trading of the "Valhalla drive technology" a "Elevator" is developed, using superstrong crystalline polymers and frictionless bearings; when connected to orbital docking rings would completely negate the high costs of boosting men and materials into space, this technology revolutionizes exploration and industry almost overnight, opening up the entire New York system for commercial exploitation. Valhalla licenses the technology to the other houses, reaping huge returns in the process.
With the success of the last Valhalla project they started planning for their next great project and at a secret meeting with the Order of Cincinnatus and the highest ranking board members of Valhalla Research, they reveal their ambitious plans for "Project Jump Gate" that would be completed in fifty years. Using the research that was made on Valhalla 1, the gate idea was created. These gates would allow travel between two distinct points in space, making it possible to travel between systems instantly instead of the many months ending the tyranny of distance which had ruled over humanity for so long. To start this project Valhalla Research announces that they will build a major research facility in Texas. The base would be used in the research of "Project Jump Gate" and Valhalla Research would be working with the Liberty Military on a number of secret projects.
With the construction of the Research Station in 128 named Dallas, Valhalla Research began to expand their operations in the system and with the military declaring a large portion of space surrounding the Dallas off-limits many rumors abound as to what kind of research was being conducted around the Dallas. In 130 A.S. one of the most historic events in all of human history was made as the Valhalla Prototype Jump Gate was tested, Houston residents in the northern hemisphere would have seen a bright flash, like a meteor streaking across the sky at exactly 15:34 HST ...and then nothing. The flash was a small drone leaping across the light years in the blink of an eye. It was the first successful test and the dawning of a new age.
In 155 A.S. Valhalla Research becomes Ageira Technologies.
In 180 A.S. just over 50 years after the first test of the Jump Gate the first full-scale jump between Texas and Alaska would be conducted, and five years later in 185 a ceremony that is broadcast throughout the Sirius sector. The President of Liberty unveils the jump gate project to the public, and almost immediately the other houses of Sirius begin to conduct business deals with the Ageira to purchase the technology and a deal is signed with Sirius Shipping to transport the gate parts between the R&D labs of Ageira and construction projects being built by Deep Space Engineering.
In 189 A.S. The first official jump gates are built between New York and Colorado, opening up the mineral riches of the Colorado systems to the rest of Liberty. In the following years construction would begin on more gates and in 207 the systems of New York and California would be connected, and with most of Liberty connected with Jump Gates Ageira began construction a Manufacturing Facility in Colorado. This facility would be crucial in the mass production of jump gate components to meet the high demand. The facility would be completed in 215 A.S and begin the exporting of parts to the other houses to connect systems of their own. As mass production of the gates moves into high gear, funding becomes an issue for many foreign corporations and governments who wish to build routes of their own, because of this Ageira Technologies and Deep Space Engineering capitalize a whole independent entity in 218 and Interspace Commerce is formed to offer loans and assist in the financing of jump gate construction.
In 280 A.S. Ageira Technologies introduces their next advance in technology, the advance which was almost as miraculous as the jump gates revealed almost a century ago. The "Trade Lanes" using a variation of the jump gate architecture could be built along a arbitrary route through systems to accelerate ships to superluminal velocities. These trade lanes would assist in commercial trading within systems and used with the Jump gates a sector wide economy was created. Eventually the demand for Gate parts began to shrink and the demand for lane parts increased because of this in 420 A.S. the Ageira Technologies facility in Colorado downshifted its production of jump gate components and concentrated on producing trade lane components.
In 500 A.S. the Ageira Technologies scientists aboard the Dallas began the second phase of testing a new, long-range jump gate that would have allowed travel beyond the Sirius Sector. Unfortunately, a concentration of dark matter along the jump route created a feedback wave that destroyed the Dallas and everyone aboard, and expelled huge masses of dark matter throughout the system. A quarantine was immediately erected across half the system. The prototype gate sank into a monstrous singularity that is still there today. With the Texas system scarred Ageira Technologies withdrew most of their operations from the system. After the Texas Incident, Ageira Technologies stayed quiet until the opening of the Detroit Munitions Depot in New York in 614. It specialized in the manufacture of small and medium arms supplying the Military, Police and independent buyers who became frequent customers.
In 700 A.S, Ageira Technologies and Interspace Commerce became partners to develop the "RTS" or "Real Time Scanner" which would scan cargo passing through the jump gates and trade lanes; by attaching a Universal Ship Identification number to every vessel and piece of cargo, goverments could automatically scan for contraband while Interspace Commerce could more accurately assess insurance fees. The new scanners begin production at the Ageira Technologies Facility in Colorado. Ageira Technologies continued to gain profit from Gate and Lane parts as well as it's other facilities in the ninth century, and to this day is the only supplier of the components with the exception of DSE.
CEO and the Board of Directors
Ageira Technologies is one of the "Big Three" companies in Liberty and as such is lead by a CEO who reports to the Board of Directors who represent the interests of stockholders of the company. The members of the board are elected by the stockholders who intern are there to protect their investment. The CEO controls all the day to day decisions of the company as well as make plans for long term projects. He is in-charge of keeping the company running smoothly and is accountable to the Board of Directors. If the Board of Directors feel that the current CEO is not representing the best interests of the company or is not doing a good job as CEO they can call a vote and elect a new one.
Head Office
Board Member [NPC] -The Board Members are there to make sure the CEO is representing the best interests of the company and the stockholders. If they feel he is not doing a good job they can vote to replace him with another candidate.
Chief Executive Officer [CEO] -The CEO is responsible for the organization of the company, his sole purpose is to make sure the company is making the most profit that it can. He is in charge of all decision making and must report to the Board of Directors.
Chief Financial Officer [CFO] -The Chief Financial Officer is responsible for all financial information of the company, his purpose is to keep track of all earnings and expenses and makes sure that the company is actually gaining money.
Head of Ageira R&D -The Head of Research & Development is responsible for the organization of research and development, his purpose is to create, assign, and cancel projects, and to make sure that projects are going to be profitable for the company.
Head of Ageira Transportation [HT] -The Head of Transportation is responsible for the organization of the Transportation fleet, his purpose is to make decisions on where the ships go to Import and Export goods. He makes sure that the stations and bases have enough resources as well as making sure the customers get there shipments.
Head of Ageira Security [HS] -The Head of Security is entrusted with the security of all Ageira bases and facilities as well as the protection of the ships and systems Ageira Technologies operates. He organizes the patrols, and makes sure proper measures are taken when transporting high-value goods or a diplomatic meeting is taking place.
Standard Members
Researcher-Researcher are the force behind the R&D they make proposals for projects to the Head of Research and if their project is accepted they begin it. They usually work together to research, develop and test their creations and it can take months if not years to create something.
Commodore - Commodores are the commanders of large vessels and large fleets, they can command the captains and pilots and organize them into large fleets.
Captain -Captains are the commanders of small to large vessels they can organize small convoys and command pilots to assist them.
Pilot - Pilots are the official member of the company they are commanders of small to medium ships.
Applicant -Trial Members who have to earn a place in the Company.

This Department is in-charge of the security of all Ageira ships for the systems that Ageira Technologies operates in. They patrol the systems under that are under operation by Ageira Technologies and escort individual ships as well as convoys and large transportation fleets.

Planet Los Angeles, California is the location of Ageira Technologies Headquarters. With the majority of the planet covered in deep salt water oceans and gorgeous, white sand beaches, Los Angeles was popular with the wealthy and privileged of Manhattan, before the terraforming efforts failed during the Great California Drought of 543 A.S. The ocean water was discovered to be unusable due to a chemical that, although it is completely harmless to humans besides from tasting foul, fatally disrupts the growth of crops and certain species of terrestrial animals. The available water supplies from the Tahoe and Sierra ice clouds were quickly running out, and as a result it was becoming ever more expensive to ship water into the California system.
Over the course of the following century, most of Los Angeles' population subsequently emigrated to planet Denver in the Colorado system, with only those who did not want to move, or couldn't afford to, remaining behind. A large portion of the remaining industry relied heavily on farming genetically modified livestock that are able to process the chemical in the water, although a number of corporations still retained offices on Los Angeles, including Universal Shipping's corporate training academy.
It wasn't until Synth Foods perfected their patented and hugely popular Synth Paste, created from a genetically engineered plant similar to that of the Earth Kelp, that the planetary economy resurged. The resulting success of the new food paste prompted Synth Foods to relocate their headquarters to Los Angeles, and the booming technology market has also encouraged Ageira Technologies to construct an optical chip plant here. With all the new jobs available on the planet, coupled with the recently opened trade lane to the Ontario jump gate, the population of Los Angeles has jumped to over 360 million, and the increasing prosperity promises a brighter future for the entire California system.
Planet Denver, Colorado was originally the home of miners, smelters, and shipyard workers, but these industries eventually collapsed in 600 A.S. With the declining long-term water situation in California, however, the wealthy elite of Los Angeles began to look elsewhere for a vacation spot and found Denvers rough, beautiful vistas to be ideal. Emigration from Los Angeles and Manhattan injected new life into the Denver economy, reviving the planet even as the new upper-class assumed control of the local government. Today Cryer Pharmaceuticals maintains a major research lab on Denver, while Ageira Technologies has a planetside headquarters to oversee its interests in the system. Liberty Police, Inc. (LPI) is well paid by Colorado's new elite to handle security.
Pueblo Station, Colorado is the a Ageira Technologies manufacturing facility. Notice: All ships should be aware that Ageira Technologies facilities are protected by private security authorized to use deadly force against any deviation from standard flight procedures.
Detroit Munitions, New Yorkis the headquarters for Ageira Technologies, one of the oldest privately owned companies in Liberty. Detroit has been manufacturing small and medium-sized arms since its founding by patriarch Ed Garner in 614 AS. His name still graces the companys most popular line of blasters.
Hamilton Station, Ontario is residing on the outskirts of Lawrence Ice Field, the Hamilton Station houses production facilities of Ageira Technologies. Hamilton was constructed to provide enough supplies for nearby mining operations, as well as for station building sites, and possible future trade lane and jump gate construction sites..

Ageira Technologies is allied with Deep Space Engineering as they are the only ones who Ageira has licensed to transport and construct Gate/Lane Parts. Ageira Technologies has also had a long good working relationship with the Liberty Navy, Security Forces and Police and because of this they have grown to trust and rely on them heavily offering any assistance they can which has been useful in these times of war.

Ageira Technologies is friendly towards all it's fellow Liberty Corporations as well as the foreign factions in Britonia such as the BAF and Britonian Corporations.
Neutral
Ageira Technologies is currently neutral with the house to the north. Due to the war between Britonia and Kusari, Ageira Technologies is not friendly with the house. But as is DSE, Ageira has decided to remain neutral with the house.
Unfriendly
With the war between Rheinland and Liberty going on Ageira Technologies has decided to support it's home and stop all exports to the house, because of this they are not on friendly terms with the state and have been treated rather poorly by the military in Rheinland. Ageira Technologies is also unfriendly with most of the Criminal factions operating within Sirius.

Ageira Technologies is hostile towards a lot of the Criminal Factions operating within Liberty and Britonia but is especially hostile towards Xenos, Lane Hackers and Liberty Rogues for various reasons.

Other then that please post any comments, feedback or suggestions I would love to hear them. And I know I don't have a thousand posts or anything but I am very dedicated with what I do and I have already proved that to the RFP where I designed their website: RheinlandFederalPolice.com I plan to be even more dedicated to this seeing as it is something I will be running.
I think this is an excellent idea, and I honestly don't see why anyone hasn't done this already. This page is way more detailed than a lot of the "Hey let's make X organization that -doesn't- exist" pages as well. Hell, I've already taken the opportunity to join up in the Ageira Technologies Transportation effort and the Research division when it happens.
All in all, this is something that should have existed a while ago and I'm glad it's coming around now.
Yah well I really read all of the information I could on Ageira and Valhalla but I know I'm missing some of the recent stuff which I need some help with. If anyone can help me that would be great, I am still looking for feedback about this I want to make sure I have everything down because I don't think everything is 100%.

What's here is good. You can see the structure and all that, but maybe some motive? What do you want to achieve (in rp) and all that? Is there going to be anything going on besides trading and escorting those traders?
I am not sure about your use of the guardian, the defender, the patriot, and the liberator. The Guardian and Defender are Navy ships, the Liberator and the Patriot is used by the Navy and LPI,

Good question. With the War on, I would expect all production to get funneled first to the Navy / LSF, then to the LPI.
The write ups in the Wiki definitely list the Guardian and the Defender as government and Navy models, the Liberator and Patriot are also listed this way.
Not sure who builds these models, Is it DSE in the Baltimore shipyard, the Navy at Norfolk, or perhaps planet side at a factory?
Would be nice to have some RP or story for this.
For Example, a players group is RPing Renzu Shipwrights, and claimed responsibility for manufacturing certain models of Civilian craft...
I think Ageira and DSE would be involved in the construction of Liberty ships seeing as Ageira creates engines and many other things. Do you think that we would be allowed to do that, I have no problem at all organizing it as I am very dedicated but I am fairly new and don't know how things exactly work. If I were to say that Norfolk was supplied and run by Ageira Technologies & Deep Space Engineering would that be allowed?
