Corporate Fleet:
Nowhere is APM's unique corporate identity more apparent than in its transport fleet. The fleet is required to deal with a wide variety of commodities, ranging from bulky cargo such as capital ship hull components and space station modules to fragile optronics and optical chips. Moreover, company ships ply trade lanes through remote Border and Independent systems where the rule of law does not always apply. In addition, the company's connection to the Guild means that it is often obliged to operate in Houses throughout the galaxy, and this has resulted in a fleet comprised of corporate standards augmented by local models.
More distubringly, in recent times the company has attracted increasing attention from pirates who may have learned of the company's connection to the Guild. Former military specialists seconded to APM from the Guild developed reinforced hulls and advanced power arrays to provide additional protection for the company's dangerous and often lengthy trading missions.
Ships comprising the fleet (provisional):

Components, Identification and IFF Protocol
Following an agreement negotiated by our owners, all ships are to carry Interspace Commerce identification credentials and IFF signals. This is under review.
All vessels may mount Civilian Weapons and Bounty Hunter Weapons, the latter by virtue of our close association with the Bounty Hunters' Guild.
Suppliers, Cargo and Trade Routes:
The APM trade network is heavily concentrated in the southern half of Sirius, and APM ships rarely have any need to venture into Kusari space, perhaps a consequence of the company's close association with the Guild. Components and materials are sourced principally through trade agreements with Ageira, DSE, Daumann, BMM and the IMG, among others. The company's buying power is reflected in the discount it enjoys in the trade of commodties essential to ship construction. While many space station modules and reactor cores are assembled in the larger factories and shipyards of Rheinland and Liberty, the final assembly of Guild ships is carried out in locations as far apart as Newcastle and the Omegas.
One principal duty of APM is supplying Deshima Station with deuterium. The Guild's strong presence on this station means that a tidy profit can be turned from sales of the product. More importantly, unscrupulous Kusari black market operators often make cutting-edge Kusari avionic material, such as optronics and chips, available to APM buyers at the station.
Omega 56 houses the company's main engine assembly plant and construction site, known as Alabama Shipyard. Here, control, monitoring, communication, navigation, weather, and anti-collision systems for Guild ships are also put through their final tests.
This is the list of commodtities. All trade routes are lucrative, long and dangerous.

Greetings, APM.
I just heard from your new found company and I can see it holds great promise and profit. And I just seem to be without a job.
I come from Texas, am 19 years old and I've just finished flying lessons and have permission to fly vessels up to very heavy cargo transporters class. All I need is a job. I'm at your command, if you accept me.
Sincerely, Trent Transmission ends
I wrote a really funny FL story, but it disappeared when the old forum went away. So, no lulz for you today.

Greetings human resources department of APM. I saw that you have several opening for transport pilots and wanted to apply. I have been flying as an Independent trader for some time now and was looking to find a good company to work for. I have experience in flying both traders and transports. I currently run an Armored transport. I have run routs from one end of Bretonia to Rheinland. Here is some information about me.
I was born and raised on the Planet Curacao in the Cortez system. My parents ran a small shop for the tourists and a general store for the locals. Life was not too bad, but its not like we were living high on the hog either. I helped in both stores when I was not going to school. My last year was rough. School did not interest me and the group I was running with, well lets say they were not always doing the right thing. Mom got pretty pissed and Dad just ignored me during that time.
Once I was out of school things changed. I realized that I needed to do something with my life and decided a trade school would be a good idea. I got an appenticeship with the local mechanics guild. I leaned how to maintain small ship engines. I seemed to do well and soon found a job with a small time freighter running supplies to the Spa and cruise site from out-system. I assisted the full time wrench keeping his Firefly in running order.
Now we were a small crew, the owner and pilot Mr. Crasse. My mentor Hanz Shutze and myself. I helped Hanz take care of the ship and with loading / unloading the shipments. Half of the time we only ran stuff to Curacao, so the trips back out were easy. Occasionally we had a passenger or three headed back with us. I got to play cabin boy then. It was nice. The pay was ok. I got to get off world and still saw my parents every few weeks. On the trips into Bretonia or Liberty for cargo I continued my training with Hanz and also learned about trading from Mr. Crasse. He even let me take the helm a few times and taught me about piloting a ship and how to read the star charts. Life was good.
After working for Mr. C for a little over a year I got a message that something had happened to my folks. Seems those stinking Eco-terrorists the Gaians planted several bombs around the settlement. Supposedly to teach those who help the evil cruise and spa folks a lesson. Both my parents were killed in the blast. Our general store was nothing but a hole in the ground. Needless to say I took the news rather badly.
When I got back home I arranged for my parents to be put to rest. Their lawer, called me up after the funeral and told me that they had a will and had left everything to me. He informed me that they had sold the other store earlier on in the year and put all the money in an account that was now mine. I told him I was leaving and wanted to get rid of all of my ties to Curacao. He said he would take care of it. I told him I would contact him once I got where I was going.
Even then I was not real sure where that was going to be. I hopped back aboard with Mr. C and headed back out into Liberty space. We grabbed some luxury good in Cali and then headed off to New York.
As you can see I jumped ship here in Manhattan. I gave my best to Hanz and MR. C but told them it was time for me to move on. I called the lawyer, got my money and decided to consume as much of it in alcohol as I could. Did a pretty good job of it to. I went on a bender that lasted months. Towards the end of it after trying to take on a couple of Gaian sympathizers in a port bar they threw me in jail for a few days to sober up. That when thing went from bad to worse. I got the crap kick out'a me several times and decided that it was all done. A rough edge of a drinking cup and I though it would all soon be over.
As you can see that was not the case. Into the ward for me. I guess I needed it. That was several years ago now. Since then I have worked my way up and thought the life of an Indie trader was what I wanted. Now I know that, that's not the life I want. I want to belong to something, help make a difference. Since you all work hand in hand with the Bounty Hunters Guild, you do help make a difference.
So there is my story and application. I would request the the APM call sign Gemini if I get hired.

It gives me great pleasure to announce that Mr. Jeff Phelps, known to his friends as "Digger", is to assume the duties of Chief Executive and Secretary to the Board of APM. I will be filling the role of Chairman for now.
Mister Phelps has promised the Board that he will make every effort to secure a license for the company to ship deuterium through Bretonia from Gran Canaria to the facility at Deshima.
The Board wishes him the best of luck in his endeavours.
