This is the first topic i ever started, so please tell me if i made any
mistakes :)

to Igiss: I told you things about the weapons with 5.88 refire rate. The first
i told you about which have these kind of problems are rheinland and
the red hessians. The gc, gaians, zoners also have problems with their
weapons with refire rate 5.88 (and maby others factions too) but
rheinland is a mighty house and the hessians are the 3rd most powerful
criminals. Their tachion/laser weapons do very poor damage (53.900002
at Stealthblade mk1 and Natter, class 6 weapons which times the refire
rate means 316 dmg/second. Seriously, even the class 4 skyrail from
Bretonia does more or almost the same dmg and even the xeno (xenos
should be veeery weeaak) adv.scorpion does almost the same much
dmg. Could you please check this out when you're going to make the next
version of Discovery? thanks

So, let's start discussing 4.78... with not much time left until Oblivion when I'll probably get busy with Oblivion mods, it would be good to make a new version of Discovery, or maybe two of them.

I will check refire rates.

Your post is OK Titus apart from the fact that you shouldn't use insert line breaks in your text.

Believe me Igiss i think i know all the official weapons in the game and something about ther damages and almost allthe rfire rates :laugh:

Well i should have 1, maybe 2 new systems ready by the time 4.78 is released, except for the patrols, as FL Explorer will crash with them, so you have to add them later. Right now I'm making a Liberty system then omicron then the other houses. Anyone with system ideas post them or PM them to me. BTW the Liberty system, Virginia, that im making has a very special thing about 70-80k away from the planet in the top-left corner :D .

Igiss! I hope u don't think i wnat u to change refire rates at weapons with rfire rate 5.88.! Let the hessians be special-the only laser weapons which dont have the refire rate 8.33. And the Rhainland stealthblades, hornvipers look cool the way the are already. My suggestion is to change only the damages. ;)

Hehe...another thing Igiss....hope i am not bothering you...i told you my head is filled with ideas. Is it true that in 4.78 there will be a new version of Titan/Eagle/Sabre? And another thing. This idea is REEAAAAALLLYYY nuts, not even im sure i like it :crazy: but what about the newr version of Discovery invented a new type of weapon and shield. Like, something like a negatron weapon and an electron weapon (im thinking at all the particles i know, i dont care how crazy and unrealistic it sounds :) ). Anyway its just a CRAZY idea and i dont even care too much about it. I think you might consider it of some worth :D .

New versions of Titan, Eagle and Sabre? What for I wonder? The can handle level 10 weaponry and there are no more levels.

No I don't plan to introduce new weapon or shield types... it's rather complicated, and not really worth it.

BTW Dab: I reserve a right not to include your systems in the mod, and even if I will I'll do that only if you grant me a right to modify anything I wish in the new systems - literally anything. I hope you understand...

For 4.78 Igiss, I think some Simple structure addons to current systems, just so that shipyards look more impressive, mining stations look like mining stations, ohh and a Few Well placed BS's around Sirrus, im Working on it now, and ill post probably by Sunday, and if you like it feal free to use it, and if you want to change anything feal free to.

Quick question, do u want me to do these changes on the Dis Mod or a standard FL and u can just import it?

The best way is: to take Discovery files, use only ini.s (and other files) you need to change, and then - then, well, it's better to create some kind of brief summary of what you've made like I make (readme file) and a few comments inside ini.s you've changed. That should be enough.... or is it too much?
