5 nations of which 3 are playable (how lame is that? i mean you will always want to fly the unaccessible cooler not playable ship, they are shooting themselves in their foot with that:wacko:)
seems like the game will be PVP oriented but the HP says:
Quote:Do you long for the thrill of combat or do you prefer the call of merchant - always on the look out for a quick, opportune trade.
well honestly from all the presentation i've seen i don't think this will make it in the game. especially since the dude in the vid said they want to make it feel like an FPS... ok Freelancer is that way i admit, but then again it features a lot more than what JE has to offer on its features list right now.
After a few rewiews I dont particularly wish to play though.
Some say that he is allergic to a fungus found only between the toes of Corsairs,
and that he is oblivious to 98% of Liberty Law. All we know is... He's called the Busdriver!
Looks pretty cool in my opinion especially how there are no dice rolls to see if you hit. Im looking at you eve. And Jazz, just because they didnt imediatly email you doesnt mean that they are not going to. I got into the 'Pirates of the Burning Sea' and 'Age of Conan' betas months before they came out but i didn't get invited in till months (maybe 4) after i had sent in an application. Just wait till they start stress testing the servers (how many people they can hold) this will only be about a month before the release date but your almost sure to get an invite for that.
If you ask me, I'm looking forward to Infinity more.
Especially because it's not done by a moneymongering commercial company, and is 100% orientated towards player feedback.
And furthermore, it'll be RP orientated.
A highly advanced version of Freelancer, basically.
I actually like to play my space games sitting back in my nice comfy captain's chair, rather than leaning over the controls of my fighter, spastically jerking the controls back and forth to prevent my demise and ensure the demise of those who oppose me.
JGE looks a little too PvP oriented, as all games are nowadays.
Really, RP isn't something that you market in a game. It's PvP.
RP is what develops when the playerbase gets bored with pointless PvP and wants something a little more rewarding than the senseless random shooting of people who wander into your path.
And when it comes to RP, Disco, I think, is the best.
