Well I have told you more than 5 time that BH can attack Junker.

But what people are talking about here is ther rule, and what has been said is that rule 6.15 does not say that Bounty Huners can attack Junkers, and if that is the case, this Bounty Hunter broke the rules, that is what this thread is about, and you dont seem to get that.

It was a joke, and I think you should let this thread go, but as I said, I am not backing down on this one till I get the word from an admin, and I dont think this thread should be locked, there is a discussion about rules going on here, and just because I dont see it the way you do is no reason to lock a thread.

Ok now very calmly... I say that BHG can attack Junker, but he was OORP, and that is aginst rules as well. Junkers have written Junker in ID instead of pirate cos they are not really pirates but Quasi-Legal group, but yeah I think BHG according to rules can attacks them, but for attacking without reason he was OORP ...and that is violation as well.

You dont know he was OORP, you are assuming that based on your experiences with Bounty Hunters. You can't know what his RP was, that is part of the game, sometimes something happens that you don't understand, but the person on the other side does, it's part of life too. That is why the rules must be clear.



Now you said he was OORP and PVP whoring, well the rule I assume you are referring to is rule 6.6

6.6 PvP combat is allowed only on roleplay basis. The pilot who is attacking must scan for an ID prior to the attack. Relying on general reputation status (red/neutral/green) without scanning for the ID is not allowed.

This does not say the player has to say anything, again we come back to the rules, if Junkers are covered under the pirate section of rule 6.15 then the Bounty Hunter is not in violation of this rule, and therefore is not PVP whoring.



and as for him being OORP I point out rule 6.2

6.2 Out of Roleplay (OORP):
In-game tag seen before the name must match the ID as closely as possible. It is not allowed to have the tag not match ID category. For example, it is prohibited to have 'Police' tag and 'Pirate' ID.

Equipment used must match tag and ID as closely as possible. For example, it is not allowed for Corsairs to use Outcast ships and guns.

Now as long as this Bounty Hunter has a Bounty Hunter tag, a Bounty Hunter ship, and uses appropriate weapons, we was not OORP.



So what has this Bounty Hunter done wrong? This is why rules are important to our game. RP is subjective, it is different for everyone, while rules are objective, and allow everyone to play from a point of commonality.

You know, the glitch between us is, you say "Rules over life" and I say "Roleplay over life" I think we agree on the point BHG can Attack Junkers, and I think Admins will agree as well. but the problem is that I think he can attack piarte without speaking, But Junker with water is quasilegal, in this case even more lawfull than unlawfull, so I think he have to have RP to kill him simply like that... And since I think we know who that BH BC is... we can almost on 100% say that there wasnt RP behind it, except the "Hes red I kill him"... Well if there was some really heavy reason why to kil that trader with water... Im ok, but i can almost surely say there wasnt. In that case, if there vere no reason, its kinda violation dont you think?

EDIT: Just to the killing.. RP... Imagine it in RL then, you walk the street, you have a knife, you see a guy, and you know hes a member of street-punks who do some minor stealing here and there, and also you know that for killing him, you will not have any problem with police, so you will stab him to death?

You cannot know the reason why the bounty hunter attacked him, and is not up to you to judge it. That is why the RP and the rules go hand in hand, there are many ways to RP, and that is the great thing about it, everyone does it their own way, but it also means it is important to have clear rules on things so we know what is ok and what is not. Elvin, we are not here to judge someone elses RP, so what that leaves us with is wether someone broke a rule or not.

Maybe, probably not though, but some people would, it is different for everyone, just like RP. Ask Dreygon whether Mon'star would kill the guy, I think he would. Stop trying to put limits on other peoples RP.
