Greetings. I'm working on a small modification of the M7 Centurion HF.

The role I invisioned for him is escort and support of Bombers and other larger vessels and dogfighter. An agile VHF and Bomber Killer. In short, it's supposed to be a Titan powerplant and weapon systems, with less armor, cargo space, nano/bat capacity, with the agility of at least a Falcon.

EDIT: I will make a recommendation upon submission to make this HF agile, but I've decided that i'm not going to interfere with any other stats to avoid people thinking that i'm making a corsair admin fighter. Which btw it's not what i want.

Peace!

Hermano, great work. I expect to see more from you in the future...

Regarding balancing:

10500 Armor, 4 Class 10's, 2 class 9's, forward firing turret, agility very close to a Sabre (minus the Sabre's uber strafing), a centurion hitbox, and the standard 12K powerplant.

Edit: Went a bit ahead of me there... But I want to see it as a MKII VHF, for pilots wanting something lighter

A Heavy Fighter is meant to be lighter than a Very Heavy Fighter, such as the Titan already is. Either way, its up to Igiss to decide the stats. I think that both those loadouts are out of the question though, as the former would give it more fire per second than the Titan and most other HFs and VHFs out there, barring the Talon. The latter would make this a VHF in its own right.

Actually the appearance of this model makes me wonder, should this become the VHF of the Corsairs and the Titan be made into a VHF-SHF hybrid as it almost is now?

The model itself I love, and in between the new Decurion and the old Titan, it fits right in.

I do hope that it gets included, but then the shipcount may start to get a bit ridiculous for both the Corsairs and the Outcasts. One of every type of ship (except a battlecruiser) is more than most houses have available to them... minus Liberty, but the Outcasts and Corsairs are more or less houses now in their own rights due to their popularity.

Ending my rambling there, I want this model to be in the mod if its at all possible. However, im not sure if it will be, which saddens me slightly, due to the relative closeness of the mods release.

We've got some real talent crawling out of the woodwork here, nice going! The stats are a tad high but the model itself is incredible. Great job!

looks great, I am going to sign on Mcneo's idea of Titan becoming a SHF and this becoming our VHF.

Was kinda hoping the sacrifices in armor and all that would offset, and I was kinda expecting it to have a huge price tag, but then again as said.. Igiss will be judge and i'll probably have no say in it whatsoever. As long as the agility is good on this baby, I wouldn't mind the apparent downgrade in firepower it will have.

I just want it to be very Agile like a Falcon perhaps. Something specially good at taking out VHFs/SHFs/Bombers maybe, with no apparent advantage over HFs and LFs, and without a chance Vs larger vessels.

Igiss... waiting for your take on this;)

Thanks for the compliments guys.
@ xX_Colonia_Xx: Can't we just be friends?:D

Cheers mates.
