Honestly, it's because they have far too few ships now, so everyone is clamoring to give them something. I like it, though. Finally, I get an Order Cruiser. I think I might end up upgrading from a Lunchbox to the spiffy new Order cruiser once it comes out.

Turkish made the Order light fighter which looks awsome and his gunboat model looks better than Vap's.

I just hope the new members we get won't be like new random indies who know nothing... only thing I'm afraid of is like people spamming the dessy...

I think the main reason most people dont join the order right now is because it's hard to work into. You only get one mission at a time for the entire faction, from one base. You cant run missions if someone else not in your group is running one, and there are no bribes - so to even get up to where you can take missions you have to have the help of another player, or go get corsair/zoner bribes first (or kill hundreds of bounty hunter npcs).

The Order also doesnt have anywhere near 'the best' fighters, it's two VHF's are fairly sub-par compared to things like the sabre or eagle.

Well, according to jinx's submitted stats, the order destroyer will be fairly weak - about equivalent to the bounty hunter destroyer (which I think only has 8 or 9 turrets).

I think we need to set up an order pilot registration before 4.85 hits, so we can keep track of who has what - and if anyone acts OORP they can be dealt with as if they've been infected or gone rogue. We need to keep a fairly tight leash on order players, because up until now the Order has been considered one of 'the best' factions for RP due to only a few top notch players finding their way in - but lately, we've had more and more indy order popping up out of nowhere with osiris battleships that dont know a thing about order RP.
