Problem is, to get to Delta (my base of ops), i HAVE to go through Minor, Alpha or Gamma, there are no other options. So when the enemy voices your position through the public comms system, it might be advantageous to take down the bomber/gunboat/cruiser etc that is tailing me, so that's one less enemy i have to fight when the do attack.
I could understand that, but can't you just keep moving? I mean if its only one bomber I think you can out run it, maybe you could announce your passing through if someone calls you out and if that doesn't work than I guess all you can do is fight.
I know this wouldn't be easy for you, but you could always use a different system for a base of operations. For example Omicron Theta would be nice (that way you wouldn't have to pass through Gamma or Alpha at least). Also I see a lot of Core in Theta, so then you would be a little more defended than just sitting in Delta by yourself.

Its a little hard to outrun a bomber in the asteroid fields in gamma especially...those rocks are such a pain:wacko:
Get distance on him with thrusters - 500m or so - then hit cruise, keep rocks inbetween you and the target. Cruise disruptors are absolutely worthless in asteroid fields as long as you manuver correctly, because the disruptor will almost always hit an asteroid before it hits you. If you can stay out of the 400m train CD blast radius, chances are it will CD the bomber who's chasing you more often than it will CD you.
I think I might once go to the Bounty Hunter Guard system with a fleet of Order ships and kill everything that's not Order.
Cause Core in 100 is really low, I have no respect for Bounty Hunters anymore and I consider them all kill on sightable cause they haven't done anything I would consider RP in a long time... or ever actually.
Anyways, my point is that no Bounty Hunter, actually, no one that is not the Order should be in Omicron 100. Not only is it OORP cause 100 it supposed to be the most secret system in the game, but also because we have lives!!! Of course we can't sit there 24/7 with an Osiris by the jumphole destroying everything that comes!
Just either go get lives or learn some proper RP like gentlemen if you please:)

From Evora shipyard in Omicron-100 with love from the [Core]
I am going to have a talk with the leaders about this. This is NOT what I signed up for! Read my sig and you'll know I'm in the Guild Core (and for you're information, 2 of those ships are a Manta VHF and a BH Bomber. The third is a Gunship, but I don't even use it much anymore).
Carlos Rivera: Corsair Brotherhood Pirate - Retired, shifted to Tripoli Shipyard's Research and Development engineering teams Anthony Cameron: Guild Core Bounty Hunter - Killed in Action, committed suicide after being trapped in Omicron Minor following its destruction Juan Ruiz: Outcast Ghost of Razgriz Pirate - Killed in Action, killed by the Sirius Coalition Revolutionary Army during Bretonian piracy raid Michael Winchester: Liberty Security Force Agent - Missing in Action, likely killed during Rheinland espionage mission or trapped in Rheinland Space Eric McCormick: Order Pilot - Retired, shifted to planetside training of new recruits
Komet, don'tcha think it's a bit OORP for a battleship to NOT fire on a significant threat to it? Just because the Guild Core doesn't generally fight the Outcasts, doesn't mean their ships can't fire back when attacked.
@Megiddo: I'm not switching from the Orca to be better PVP-wise, as I'm fairly sure the Orca (as is) is better than the Destroyer (8 turrets, boo) already. It's just a nice step-up in stature.
I agree that no Bounty Hunter ships should be in Omicron-100, as you have stated, that is Order Guard space, and is a 'well kept secret' by the Order. Since Bounty Hunters also hunt Nomads, Omicron Iota is a good hunting ground, meaning Delta would be a good base of ops. This is however right next to Minor, and being one jump away from Order space will stir up 'tension', to put it lightly. Does it not make sense then, if bounty hunters are getting killed in Delta, that they do a reprisal attack on say Omicron Minor. Following ships into Omicron-100 would be a no-no, because of all the 'defenses' the Order have set up there.
