Stewart let out a small sigh then turned to Noah and smiled.
"It's not much of planning, it's more of doing."
Stewart replied with a even wider smile.
"As you know we have many enemies. Pushing in on us from
all sides. As you may also know is that the Tenabras has
recently been removed from New York under certain powers
that we know not much about. We were in Liberty to show
that we aren't all bad but that was just a facade of what
we really are. We are enemies. It was always like that and it
will always be like that. The fleets that you hear are massing
do to my recent orders are for an attack. Not an attack on
our jelly friends but an attack at the heart of our enemy.
We're going to pay a long over do visit to an old friend of
ours. From the information we acquired the fleet we have
requested is more then needed for the project. However
we can never be to safe. With this fleet we can stop
our enemy dead in there tracks. To show them that
attacking our ships was the dumbest move they can ever
make. We, the 122nd, are at war with them now, and
we intend to bring the battle to them this time.
They may have thrown the first punches at us but we will
throw everything back. With much much larger casualties.
You don't damage my ships without meeting the full force
in person with an army that could wipe out a entire force!"
Stewart's words were strong he wanted revenge as much
as anyone. This time he did what the old Admiral did.
Admiral Travis Elation.
The crew all knew he was planning on the attack
since they were part of Travis' crew. They knew that
whoever commanded this ship was destined to go
to war with someone.
Liberty Noah thought, Because of Liberty's expairments my family was killed. And I barly managed to escape with my life. All Liberty is are a bunch of greedy power hungary murderers. They diserve every bit of hell Stewart is about to unleash on them. And I swore to my family before they shoved me into that escape pod that I would put an end to Liberty's genetic expairments some how. I just dont know how the Order would react know I was genetically manipulated. But I have to do this, and I doubt I can just take my ship on a detour while the largest assualt on Liberty in Order history is underway. I have to tell him...
"Commodore, there is something that I have to tell you, something that I have kept hidden from everyone up until this point. And what you do with the knowledge is up to you, but for some reason I feel like I can trust you."
Stewart raised an eyebrow in response.
"I dont know if you are aware of Liberty's genetic expairments or not, but I was a product of one of those expairments. You see the reason I made Captain so young is I was given genetic knowledge. While my mother was pregnant with me they altered my DNA in a way that gave me an immense amount of tactical and mechanical knowledge. From the wars of centuaries ago to the recent 80 year war. I know all the stratigies and tactics, you could say that i was bread to lead men into battle."
She paused to let Stewart take this in, but instead he seemed to sense she had more to say and urged her to continue.
"These expairments take place on Prison Station Fairbanks. Long ago I made a promise to stop these expairments, because Commodore, I saw what they did to the failed expairments, they were tossed out the airlock like garbage. Living people Commodore! It would be my honor to accompany your fleet into battle withteh Mistralith, but I emplore you, let me put an end to the atrocities taking place there. After that I will follow you into the very bowels of the sewer called Liberty." She sighed a great sigh of relief. Noah didnt know why, but getting this off her chest had lifted a great burden from her shoulders. Altough now, or at least in the future, she didnt know if she would still have her command. After all genetically engineered Captians wern't exactly what the Order was looking for. Regardless, it was all in the hands of the equally young Commodore Stewart Chanberlin.
//OOC Changed rank from Colonel to Captain to match the Order's rank structure.
A bit bewildered by the news of what
Noah just said he could only let out
a humorous statement.
"Wait what....I worked hard for my rank
and you were born with it...Well that
kinda sucks. Any who your secrets
safe with me to say the least. If you
want the Tenabras, once it's fixed, to
take a detour to Prison Station Fairbacks
I would gladly command my ship to help
you in the assault. Though keep in mind
those stations are heavily guarded.
The only way we can catch them off guard
is by not only useing our cloak. We
would have to do it in small numbers.
I can command the main fleet to head
on the attack to the destination I provide
them though you probably know by now
that that station is no where near where
the fleet will be. We will not be
getting help if we are under heavy fire.
Oh one last thing. Most stations of
that class have anti ship turrets that
have a 5 minute charge before
they can fire. We would need to work
together and take them all out in the
allotted time or we can kiss our
ships good bye."
He looked out the window to the lounge.
Tenabras slowly but surely coming back
to life as the repair teams worked
on everything possible to modernize
the ship again. This would be her
15 modernization while in service.
He was glad to see that the Mistralith
was just about done. The one
ship that saved his own.
Noah smiled a rediculous smile of relief at Stewart's words. It was good to know that there were a few good peolpe still left in the world.
"Thank you Commodore, it means a great deal to me. It is high time Liberty paid for their crimes, you have my ship at your disposal. As fo the assuslt on Fairbanks, I will have my detachment of Marines board the station via a small boarding craft that will attach to the central cell block and bore a hole in the hull. From there they will proceed to the central control room and free all the prisoners, that should keep all the guards busy while they free the genetic prisoners and get them to the boarding craft. By then, we should have all the turrets destroyed. And if the fleet is proceeding ahead then Liberty will have their hands too full to send reinforcements. Once we pick up the boarding ship, we can proceed to Liberty via the Alaska gate."
"Since the fleet will be no where near us, how will they be gaining access to Liberty? If we dont use the Alaska gate then our approach will be detected long before we reach New York. We can use the gate and assemble in Zone 21 and launch straight out from there and destroy the Missouri. From there to Fort Bush and then to Manhattan. Since the goal is complete anihalation of Liberty's forces, I believe this direct surprise attack to be the best option. Anyway that is my opinion, what did you have in mind Commodore?"
"A suprise attack is exactly what we are doing.
The main fleet will be about 10 clicks away from
Fairbank since they are going closer to St. Mitchell.
By the time word from the prisons get out it'll be to
late. The field blocks most transmission out of the
system so a surprise attack would be more or
less the only thing that they would expect.
The corsairs would be only things not cloaked in the
are so they would think the corsairs were up
to no good. Thinking they don't have many
ships they wouldn't expect a whole fleet to pop
out of the blue."
Noah smiled, "Brilliant, I completely agree. Having the Corsairs lure their fleet in is a marvelous strategy." Her communicator beeped from its place on her waist. Noah brought it to her ear, "Yes?" A pause. "Allright I understand, I'll be there in a moment." She reattached the device to her hip. "It appears that i am needed on
the Mistralith, When do we launch?"
"Sir the engine is running at 100% performance.
All new turrets are working properly. All systems
online. She is ready to depart." Shiki stated to
Stewart on the bridge of the Tenabras.
She was now fully repaired and ready for battle
as a new ship.
"Good. Emily move her out of the repair bay."
The order from Stewart to Emily brought a smile
to some of his crew.
"Yes sir."
Emily started the engine up at full impulse.
The engine took a bit to warm up to full speed.
Though that was normal for new engines.
The ship slowly pulled out of Evora shipyard
repair bay. The Mistralith already out and sitting
near the station but not with the 122nd ships.
Once she was clear of the bay she entered the
properly given spot in front of the fleet.
The lead ship to one of the strongest Order
Guard fleets.
"This is Commodore Stewart Chamberlain to all
122nd vessels. Now I know since I've been in
command things have been...weird. Well
now it's going back to the way it was! Far
to long has the enemy seen us as just a speed
bump. Far to long have they called us terrorist
and given us bad names! Well heres what I think
about them calling us terrorist! We are going
to fly into the heart of the enemy system.
We are going to destroy all that gets in our way!
We are going to make sure all their supply lines
are blocked. And we are going to show them
what The Order Guard and it's allies can really do!
They shoot our ships and almost destroyed the
Tenabras. The loss of the Kestrel was not in vain!
We will avenge the loss of our fallen comrades
and we will show them the new definition of hell!
We are the 122nd Order Guard. And we will
win this war!"
Cheering erupted right when Stewart's speach
ended. Calls of other Order vessels
that heard the speach came in saying they will
join in the attack. Independent Corsairs started
showing up to aid the fleet. It was shaping
up to be the largest fleet against one enemy
that the Order has ever had.
