Greetings to the People of Gallia and the Members of the Council
Salutations aux Pueples de Gallia et Les Membres du Conseil
This open channel communication is made in the spirit of friendship to the People of Gallia. We are, as are all people in Sirius, pleased that another culture has survived the loss of Old Earth at the hands of the Nomads.
We understand that the forces of xenophobia and suspicion hold sway in much of Gallia, and that the Council is the primary force combatting those elements, with a view towards achieving reconciliation with the rest of Sirius.
We support the efforts of the Council, in word and deed. Specifically, when Council members travel to the rest of Sirius on diplomatic or trade missions, we shall provide escort protection, provided reasonable notice is provided.
We offer this service without recompense, in hopes of establishing a bond of trust, and a further working relationship.

Consul Bishop,
As a special envoy of The Council I would like to thank you for your interest in our cause. It is also good to hear that the people of Sirius are pleased to learn of our survival.
As you are already aware we, The Council, would like to enlighten all of Sirius as to the rich culture of Gallia and true nature of the Gallic people. I am one of several people within The Council assigned to facilitate this goal by meeting with foreign dignitaries and politicians.
I very much appreciate your offer to provide protection services on the way to and from these meetings. We are currently making plans to officially establish contact with the governments of Sirius. Until these preparations are made your assistance will not be required.
Before we accept your services we would also like to get to know you better. If you could you please send us information regarding The Mandolorian Mercenaries, it's history, structure and diplomatic status with the various factions of Sirius. This act would go a long way in cementing a strong relationship between us.
The Mandalorians are a tribe of warriors, who have settled in Bretonia. In time, the lines between the two cultures have blurred. I am, for instance, Bretonian, but also Mandalorian.
We fight for Bretonia in her war with Kusari. Our adopted nation has learned we are loyal soldiers. The Kusari have learned we are fierce but honourable enemies.
The Corsairs also fight Bretonia, and so we also fight them, behind their lines, with impunity. It is a dangerous task, and we have lost many warriors in Corsair space, to God knows what fate. But we do it proudly.
We seek out the honourable. Those who face uneven odds, and laugh in the face of danger. We have heard of your uphill struggle to bring light to Gallia, and we see in your struggle a reflection of our own.
I request permission to fly one of my ships to Gallia, specifically to the base known as Montpellier Guard Station, in Languedoc. A Junker contact has provided me co-ordinates to that station.
The intent of my visit is to improve ties between ourselves, and the Council. The Mandalore has assigned me that task.

Consul Bishop,
I would preffer you did not travel to Montpellier Guard station. It is a purely military installation who's purpose is to defend the passage to the Orkney jump hole. We would be able to much better accommodate you on Reunion Station, Planet Quillian or Nimes Station. Of course we have nothing to hide so you may visit Montpellier if you wish, although I do not know what you could accomplish there that could not be accomplished elsewhere.
You should also be aware that the Council, in the spirit of friend ship and with hopes of a more unified future, allows docking at all its bases to all those from Sirius other than Outcasts, terrorists, and those who have committed unlawful acts in Gallia.
Xavier walked through the central courtyard of Kilianus, Quillans primary settlement. Normally he wouldn't bother to attend to something like this personally, but as he was on his way to Reunion anyway, might as well deal with this himself.
Arriving at the door to one of the larger bar's he made a slight gesture, telling his covert guards to remain outside.
Going inside he sat down at the table of slightly worn pilot who appeared to be in his mid 30's.
"Consul Bishop, it is good to finally meet you in person."
A server walked up to the table.
"Let me buy you a drink" Xavier said, despite the fact that it looked like the consul had had plenty, "A bottle of the L'Ostal Cazes Minervois-La Liviniere, 714"
"I must say, I do respect your persistence in this matter, I would have thought you would have left Quillan long ago, having important business to attend to outside of Gallia perhaps. Now. on to business. As I said to you previously over coms, we currently have no need for your groups unique skills. The Council looks after our own and the presence of outsiders would only cause confusion."
The waiter returned with the wine. He presented it to Xavier, who nodded. He then proceeded to pour two glasses. Xavier drank his wine slowly, savoring the flavor.
"There is, however, a matter that is currently under discussion that your group may be able to assist with. I cannot say more at this time as it is still under discussion but I promise I will contact you about this matter in the near future."
Xavier swirled the wine around his glass and inhaled the aroma.
"Now, is there anything else you would like to discuss?"
The Consul looked up at M Richelieu. Wine had dulled his wits somewhat, but talking business would help that.
"Well, Monsieur Richelieu, I understand you have some 'problems' in Orkney. Perhaps we can be of some assistance there? The Council surely can't object to that, since it isn't in Gallia proper."
