During the brief intermission between ion storms in Texas today, I found the trader named Hsu who thought that smuggling Cardi into Texas wasn't enough, he had to haul slaves out as well.
We had a Lane Hacker named Sally.Lynch that was threatening (and later engaged in) combat with S/D-Bobafett and myself, which enabled Hsu to escape. I don't think they were working together in the least.
I've encountered Hsu here before (//below level 40, doing exactly the same thing) - so it's a case of he hasn't learned his lesson at all. I recommend that you consider placing a larger bounty on his head than the usual one - just to get the point across.

Greetings Liberty Navy High Command,
Since I work for the Liberty Navy, I have noticed that my Avenger is no match against Capital ship class Gunboat. Also I have seen many criminals and smugglers in possession of Gunboat/gunships or big freighters.
Every time I have to engage or more often I'm being engaged against those class ship, especially the Gunboats, I am more trying to dodge their guns and missiles than trying to aim them.
I think my Avenger isn't capable to take down those targets due to the lack of fire damage unless there is back up.
Due to this, I am requesting to fly one of those Havok bomber. With this vessel I would be able to engage the targets ennemies class Gunboats. I would feel more comfortable in my current Avenger knowing that if needed the Havok could be waiting at the Hangar.

First off, Black, Guardians are perfect for taking out bombers, and are more agile at that than the Raven's Claw, your request stays denied, maybe it is your piloting skills that are the problem and not the ship?

A way a lone a last a loved a long the riverrun, past Eve and Adam's, from swerve of shore to bend of bay,
brings us by a commodius vicus of recirculation back to Howth Castle and Environs.
A tiring day for me today, however it was well worth the time.
I started my patrol as I descended from Manhattan's atmosphere. I took the usual patrol route as I went around New York. I noticed on long range sensors that a known trader by the name of Alexi Stukov was in Alaska. I jumped to Alaska, seeing the trader in a Liberty Crusier. I questioned him about his intentions and how he aquired a cruiser without the proper credentials. He responded by saying "I'm busy" as he destroyed a Nomad Battleship near the gate. I scanned his ship, seeing 20 nomad brains stored in his cargo. I ordered him to halt, however I did not have the firepower to stop him. I followed him all the way to California Minor, where he stated he was headed toward Cambridge to drop off the nomads. He also stated that he had permission from the Liberty Government to carry the dangerous cargo. I could not do anything further as he left for Bretonia.
I returned back to Mojave, seeing 3 pirates: 2 Falcata bombers and 1 Rogue Gunboat. I was engaged, as LNF-Agraton arrived and assisted. We were no match for the pirates however, as Agraton was destroyed with a torpedo in his hold. I was later shot down as well.
Grabbing a spare Avenger, I flew back to Manhattan and to my surprise LNF-Agraton and I see Alexi Stukov with nomad weapons. I asked him if he was authorized and as soon as he saw me, flew to Manhattan and dumped the weapons. He undocked and coerced the ship called The.Goddess saying that the ship captain owed him 1 million credits. The captain replies by saying that he had never heard of Alexi and the Liberty Cruiser opened fire. A freelancer by the name of Vagus-Astra in his gunboat flew into the line of fire, aborbing some of the weapons fire. I also flew in front of The.Goddess, trying to stop the rogue cruiser from firing. My shields blew out and I was forced to fly out of the line of fire. I ordered everyone in the vicinity to open fire on the cruiser and was quickly destroyed. A pirate named Sally.Lynch made an apperance, trying to take advantage of the confusion. A fighter and a gunboat were sent after her, however both were destroyed when a bomber arrived.
After the fiasco, I flew to the Norfolk shipyards encountering {RaVeN}~Tantalus in a Barghest Bomber. He had already destroyed a LNF and he quickly attacked me as well. A brief brawl ensued, and he was brought down.
With the pirate destroyed, I flew to California on the tip a trader gave me saying that there was a rogue cruiser destroying Navy vessels. Ensign Gunner ordered me to recon the area, seeing if the reports were true. As I jumped into the system, the cruiser was in front, truely wrecking havoc. Debris were strewn everywhere and there was general confusion. I ordered the ship to leave, however he did not comply. He began firing as all I could do was dodge until backup arrived. =LSF=Internity, Hobgl, Lieutenant Gunner, and LNF-Black_Dawn all in fighters, arrived and attacked the cruiser. We were able to bring its shields down twice until the LNS-Erethre came and finished it off for good.
I returned to Manhattan, briefly taking a break from all the action and switched craft to my bomber. I recieved reports of a rogue Gunboat and a bomber attacking Liberty ships at Norfolk. Lieutenant Gunner and I arrived and we were quickly engaged. I was brought down, however when the gunboat concentrated fire on my specifically. The Missouri was able to tractor my pod and whatever was left of my bomber.
My Avenger was back to fighting capacity and I ventured a patrol into Colorado, and being met by Sally.Lynch. Her sabre was more manuverable than my Avenger and her missiles crippled my ship. I requested assistance, and Ensign Gunner arrived. I thought we would be able to overcome her, however Ensign Gunner was destroyed by her missiles. I was destroyed as well, already crippled by her missiles and hellflurrys.
My ships in need of repair, I landed on the Mississippi waiting for the mechanics to fix up my Avenger. After a couple of hours, I disembarked, maintaining position near Planet Houston, enforcing the Embargo. A few traders were breaking the Embargo, however after an explanation, they returned back to Rheinland/Liberty. One incident occured with a smuggler occured. A smuggler named Elator-Varron had a cargo full of Cardimine. I halted the ship, inflicting damage on the vessel. I ordered him to drop the cargo and to back away from the planet. An independent bounty hunter arrived, and suddenly opened fire on the smuggler. The smuggler already damaged was destroyed. I questioned the hunter, asking him why he had fired and he responded by saying that Elator was a smuggler which warrented a death. The hunter left, and everything died down.
I left Texas, seeing that there is no activity there. I was confronted by a pirate named CrossCountry in a Falcata Bomber. I requested assistance and the LNS.Shasta arrived on scene. The bomber concentrated on the Shasta, and the gunboat was destroyed. I too was later destroyed by torpedo from the pirate.
Hours later, I found another pirate named .:BW:.Fire.Punk, a bomber near the California jumpgate. I engaged the pirate. It was an even fight until another pirate arrived, the name of Herlock. I asked for help and Frank.Horrigan in his Crow arrived. I destroyed Herlock, as Frank arrived. A drawn-out fight continued, but we were able to destroy FirePunk.
I returned to Texas along with LNS.Pomona to enforce the Embargo. Suddenly the MNS-Infanta.Isabel, a rogue cruiser attacked us. Pomona, being in a bomber, we thought we could take it out until a fleet of SOB ships arrived. 1 Outcast Battleship, 4 Outcast Cruisers and a gunboat came and destroyed us. The LAS-Freedom was present at the battle, and he has reported the battle so I will go no further.
I was recalled back to Manhattan, and there was a plethora of smugglers trying to cash in during the attack. I found 2 smugglers, which the information will be uploaded now:
I was unable to stop the two smugglers, as I did not have enough firepower to do significant damage.
After the attack and most of the ships disbanded, I was under the command of William Darkmoor. We detected 2 contacts in Alaska, names are B_Edwards and snoozer1000. Darkmoor, Wolves.Of.Sorrow and I awaited at the gate while Spatha waited outside the restricted area. The intruders came and we confronted them. They explained that they wanted to leave, however we allowed them to go back the way they came.
They soon returned, thinking we have left. This time, they tried to run for it, but Snoozer unwillingly ran into the mines, exploding. The other pirate, B_Edwards flew towards Norfolk, escaping capture.
After the two pirates, we picked up another contact in Alaska, the smuggler Tobias_Vaughn. We apprehended him in Alaska and he paid the fine and destroyed his cargo.
With the pirates and the smuggler gone, I sent Frank.Horrigan into Alaska, as we had a possible Zoner Juggernought closing in on Liberty. Frank found the Juggernought [THC]BigFatty near the Omicron Minor Jumphole. He had a cargo full of cardimine and Navy pilots, commanders and captains. I turned command over to Sub Lieutenant Malrone, as my shift ends.
An extremely exhausting day, however we had many victories on our side.
I would also like to congratulate now Lieutenant Gunner for his promotion.

I'm sorry to involve myself in that, but I feel a bit concerned now.
Favouritism is not friend with me and also I don't think it's about favouritism. I have just been promoted lieutenant and as this said :

Also, If you want, as soon as my bomber is ready. Let's get to Connecticut together for some experience dogfight between fighter and bomber, and I'm sure you'll be able to see that Guardians or Avengers are very useful against Bombers.
