Title's wrong. should be: "they wont lemme into the keepers, so imma make a NOMMIE FAKSHUN!", more than asking for opinions and ideas.

but since you ask for "opinions and ideas", no. the idea isnt possible, since the nomads work as one. they are all collectively part of the mindshare, to add that whatever titan said, since he nailed it all in one.

Nomads that fight against the nomads, that really makes no sense to be honest. As the others said, they are all one mindshare and all strive towards the same goal.
and before you go on about my story, its not fully in rp and its not correct.

so, simply put, no.

A strange example but take the replicators from Stargate Atlantis. They were robotic entities that in the end took the form of the Ancients and built their technology much like them. However, there were some who differed from the central coding and wished to ascend to a higher plane of existance (As the Ancients did more often than not) since they saw it as the next technological jump. In the end a rift appeared in the group as the majority had given up on the ascension idea and some split off and went into hiding. They eventually were destroyed by the majority but my point is that they existed.
Yes it's a tv show and yes it may not happen in real life but we are not in real life and these are ALIENS we are talking about. Everyone goes on that Nomads ought to RP this way or that and not differ at all, simply because the Keepers appeared before others and so got to dictate the 'norm'.

Yes they may share their minds and be like a collective BUT they are not one entity. They are controlled by multiple brains, not an overall single one (If there was one that strong then humanity would already have been mindcontrolled by it) and so there are always going to be some form of differences.

Facilitating the rise of robotics since 0 A.D.

While i'm not endorsing his idea (it's a no, Tenacity) the whole argument about "It's been said before, no more nomad factions" just doesn't work. I'm fairly certain that before all this unique and crazy role-play we have going on here people have said "No, that's too crazy, can't happen".

We have ghosts, mutants, cyborgs, aliens, sentient machines, superhumans and wilde etc. Never say never.

It's a nice idea, but due to the nature of the Nomads, I just don't think it's possible. Although I do think that the Wild should include people and ships from other houses. We never know what happened to the Libertonian, Bretonian, or Kusarian Wild Fleets after the war. Maybe they met up with the Rheinlander Wild group and joined up. If this is the case, there should be more ships available to the Wild, since people from all the Houses are part of it.

Carlos Rivera: Corsair Brotherhood Pirate - Retired, shifted to Tripoli Shipyard's Research and Development engineering teams
Anthony Cameron: Guild Core Bounty Hunter - Killed in Action, committed suicide after being trapped in Omicron Minor following its destruction
Juan Ruiz: Outcast Ghost of Razgriz Pirate - Killed in Action, killed by the Sirius Coalition Revolutionary Army during Bretonian piracy raid
Michael Winchester: Liberty Security Force Agent - Missing in Action, likely killed during Rheinland espionage mission or trapped in Rheinland Space
Eric McCormick: Order Pilot - Retired, shifted to planetside training of new recruits

Liberty and Nomad Backstory, Very interesting - read it!

Niezck I believe it was Igiss that said when the Keepers were created that no more factions like that will be implemented into the game. Anyway, Linkus, the nomads have only partial individuality, that's why they don't function, or barely function without mindshare, a link to all their collective knowledge, memories, and everything. It is the basis of their life. Their individual self cannot function without mindshare properly, same as mindshare wouldn't really have a purpose without the individuality. Therefore they cannot really have differences of opinion that are so severe as to directly conflict each other. Plus, they were genetically designed by another race. Why would they be designed in a way that enables them to kill each other? Simply put, nomads have absolutely no way in RP to RP being hostile to one another.

But only Conneticuit is an OORP system!

Thus you where being OORP in an RP system which makes Iota a RP system and OORP system when it was originally an RP system!

So if a RP System is an OORP system and is not OORP like Connecticut... Then the RP system is OORP and must be sanctioned!

Yeah... I get your point...
While we all are drooling at your Nomad Idea Tenacity... It probably wouldn't fly...

Though having the Nomad Lair or something would be nice!

I agree with Niezck. This idea is a bit wierd, and I dont think it would go through because of all the ill-will you've garnered by your constant arguing Tenacity. However, the idea itself is certainly one which could be played out in the future.

Nothing is set in stone, this is roleplay. Evolution happens. Nomads have had plenty of time to evolve, way more than the two million years we took to evolve on Earth. Nomads needing the mindshare is the same as saying that humans need to interact with other humans. No, we dont, but we'd prefer to have the option there. Mutations happen in genetically engineered beings. Perhaps another mindshare formed by chance?

The fact that they fly in space unsheilded from ionising radiation means they could easily mutate in a number of different ways. Humans weren't designed by the natural process to have cystic fibrosis, sickle cell anaemia or other genetic diseases, but we do... Rogue alleles form by chance, whether the organism itself was specifically designed or not, and errors also happen in the transcription of DNA.

Hostile to each other is a part that makes no sense, though. They'd probably just treat each other with caution if they couldnt establish telepathic links with each other.. They would have no reason to fight each other. Tribal instincts dont exist as they do with Humans (eg. Outcast-Corsair perpetual war).

Perhaps I don't "understand" what has been written about the nomads, but it wasn't written explicitly in SP and hence cannot be completely concrete.
