IronWatsas and I today escorted one of our sisters to planet Malta to retrieve cardamine. The journey was arduous, and after we reached Malta I returned to Freeport 10. I will return to Ainu after I have rested.
Earlier today, sensors detected the presance of a Colonial Remnant Battlestar group, consisting of no less then 3 Battlestar class vessels, in the vicinity of Chugoku. Initally, we thought they were assaulting the Dragons in that area, and scrambled an attack wing to intercept them. GC forces present included units of Kiretsu wing, and one of my own communications drones. We had also contacted SOB units in Sigma to assist us.
However, the Wat-net sensor array tracked the CR's movements and indicated that they were in fact heading toward Omicron alpha. The SOB commed ahead and scrambled a large intercept fleet, while the Kiretsu forces moved in from behind. We hoped to trap them in Omicron Beta, and pin their capital ships in the asteroids. Amaya.Matsumado was also present, but didn't arrive in time to assist directly in the engagement.
We cought the Battlestar Rubicon in Omicron beta, apparently trapped between the asteroids. It, and it's attendant viper wing were quickly nullified by GC and SOB forces, before we proceeded to O-Alpha. Unfortunately, My drone was not able to gather any images of it's destruction, as it was off boresight and out of visual range.
Next, we encountered the Battlestars Nemesis and Nipalensis. Both were already being pummeled by the Outcast defense fleet. We managed to get a few shots off at them before they both fell to the guns of the 101st.
After that, we easily wiped out the remnants of thier viper wing, before we recalled to Ainu.

Now, the Colonials have shown their hand, and their willingness to use large capital ships against the Outcasts. They may use the same tactics on us, so we will need to be vigilant. Because of the scarcity of Tylium in Sirius, they are deprived of their FTL drive systems and aren't capable of precision, surprise attacks. However, they are very adaptive, as has been seen in their policies pretaining to merchant escort.
I reccomend additional bomber patrols be set up around Ainu and Morioka, and use caution when interdicting Colonial merchant ships. They WILL call for re-inforcements if their transports are attacked. Their co-ordination and general tactical doctrane is formidible, even if their individual pilot skills are not...
Glorious success today, sisters! I intercepted a trader called Mike.Edwards in Hokkaido today, with 5000 diamonds in his hold. I told him of how his diamonds were supporting fascism and corruption, and though he would not drop them all, I "persuaded" him to drop half. That is 2500 diamonds the Hogosha and the chauvinist government (though they are one and the same) will not be getting!
Sisters, what is a good way into New Tokyo? We cannot use the jump hole in Kyushu, as it is controlled by those puppets of Samura, the Farmer's Alliance, and we cannot use the gate in Hokkaido. Are we to avoid it altogether? And what of cargo coming in from Liberty? How are we to reach Shikoku?
Nice to hear that the Hogosha 'n' co are getting less diamonds day by day...
To get into new tokyo we tend to have to fight our way into new tokyo but we tend to avoid that system unless we are doing a patrol with at least 5 people.

Konnichiwa! Submitting log data.
2007. Launching from Ainu Depot I hurried towards jump hole to Kyushu system in order to disrupt commercial activity heading to Planet Kyushu from New Tokyo system. I took my position behind the lane awaiting for incomming traffic.
2015. After a couple of minutes of waiting a Bounty Hunter jumped in sight. Appearantly attacking same route again wasn't a good idea afterall. The Naval Forces must have learnt the pattern of incoming raids on this lane that have been frequent due to my efforts in past few weeks and must have expected attack of this manner. And so they sent this Bounty Hunter callsign Hood after me. A battle evolved. bounty hunter fighters sighted battle comes to a stalemate
2029. Battle proved to be even. With no side gaining the upper hand I decided to retreat to nearby Dust Field and into New Tokyo. Bounty Hunter did not seem to mind himself. He wasn't eager to chase me. retreating to dust fields of kyushu system

I reached Ropponogi station that day. I will use this opportunity to stage a more unexpected attack on lane to Shikoku system. Changing attack plan and patterns will hopefully leave the Naval Forces confused and strike will come to be more fruitful. Previous mistake was obvious. Even veterans make mistakes, it seems.

Konnichiwa.
2007. Lift off from Ropponogi station. Im heading to Shikoku to strike on traffic of independent worlds.
2015. I came across a Xeno. Been told about them before, but never met one in person...up until now. We quickly exchanged fire. These Xeno's are said to attack all foreigners. He didn't make an exception. trouble is coming
2029. It didn't come out very well this time. The Xeno had a lock on my ship and before I could enter evase manevrues a missile hit its' hull as I lost my conscious. last minute black box footage

Turns out I managed to catapult in escape pod just before the explosion afterall. Lane Hackers have some skill, their scanners picked me. Im in Ainu Depot again, recovering and yet I cannot believe this happened again. Kuso! I sure am furious... Xenos will regret this day. It will get to them. Sayonara.

...SOURCE: Ironwatsas
...SUBJECT: Territory Breach by Corsair Warships
Situation Report. As of approximately 09:00 WMT (Watsas mean time) today, Consortium patrols were active and detected a Code-Orange anomaly operating within our Juristiction zone around Ainu. Drone was dispatched to investigate and reserve unit activation requests were dispatched.
We initally encountered a Corsair Cruiser and a Zoner Destroyer.
Several sensor sweeps were made, and ID codes confirmed.
We sent numerous priority transmissions to GC and Consortium forces to activate Strategic Interceptor squadrons to force enemy ships to withdraw. In the end, though, they left of their own accord. Heading toward Sigma-13.
Only much later did Kurokawa.Keiko arrive to assist in sector Prosecution. We made several sweeps of Implicit Trade ships, and eventually identified another anomaly within our area. As it turns out, it was another Corsair cruiser, alone, and carrying several Blood Dragon pilots.
We demanded that this warship submit to local Civil authority, drop his freight, and leave the sector peacefully. However, the vessel made no transmission reply and opened fire. We engaged his vessel and persued him aggressively toward the Chugoku Jumphole.
Unfortunately, we lacked sufficient forces to Nullify this warship. Had additional bombers been online, our standing strategy would have worked. In the end, the target ship left the area, but my Patrol Drone was terminally damaged and Kurokawa was forced to retreat. Had we ONE more bomber, we could have finished this ship off.
***
From this battle, we have made several observations and constructed new tactics to deal with these large warships more efficiently.
1: Always engage a target within an asteroid belt or natural phenomina which inhibits their mobility
2: Always have a fast vessel dedicated to distracting a target's weapons by close passes to it's hull
3: Locate and remain in enemy blind spots
4: Always attack with no less then 4 ships, preferably bombers and heavy fighters for escort/distraction
It is advisable that this doctrane be put into place ASAP, if it has not already. Though these tactics are heavily based on the assumption that a target ship is operating alone and unescorted. I would suggest that we plan some organised mock-battles and training exercised Jointly between the GC, Dragons, and Consortium.
Specifically, I want to construct tactical doctranes regarding destruction of Capital class vessels that DO have substantial Escort. These exercises may benefit all of us, and help maximise our ship's combat effectiveness.
Situation Report. C-Drone #24 was active and investigating a possible communication malfunction. When attempting to contact Consortium agents on planet Harris, the transmission was somehow redirected to an individual which sounded suspiciously like [NLH]Marburg.
However, what disturbs me is this. A BHG tagged Rhineland gunboat with a merc ID, callsign: RedFalcon, was sighted in the airspace near Ainu. I commanded the individual to confirm his intentions and civil status. He blatantly stated "he was collecting GC pilots". Sensor sweeps confirmed this. When commanded to drop the pilots and surrender his vessel, he opened fire on the Communications drone.
The Drone returned fire with intent to surpress the target ship until additional backup arrived. GC-Fumiko Shimazu soon arrived, with [Kiretsu]-Ten'yuu arriving soon after that. The target ship attempted to withdraw when it realised that we were scrambling backup to destroy it. We persued it to within range of the Battleship Matsumodo, but lacked sufficient forces to break it's defenses and rescue the pilots. After a brief exchange of words, the Gunboat fled, and contact was lost.
Consortium forces will actively seek and destroy this vessel as best as possible, but my concern is for the Pilots that these -hunters- try and steal from their very homes. They are likely to be sent to Fuchu Prison facility, but we have our own moles in the KNF. We will recover these pilots, and return them to Ainu. But the trend of these -interlopers- entering our airspace, attacking GC forces in their own territory, and disrupting Consortium operations shows no sign of slowing down.
I suggest we Show them the folly of challenging our claims to Hokkaido, and we make sure EVERYONE in Kusari knows that we will not be intimidated by these -humans-...
Priority warning. I have encountered an individual, claiming to be somehow affiliated with the GC, who showed some rather disturbing activity when encountered. The woman's name was 'Ryoko.Hakubi', an individual I have encountered once before. My inital encounter with her was several weeks ago, when she showed up in Hokkaido and claimed she was an ex-GC who had gone to like and work with the Mollies. This appeared to be her explination for her unusual ship for a GC pilot, A Molly tagged, GC IDed Barghest. I showed her the Location of Tau-65, and we then parted ways.
Today, I was approached by Naomi.Ichiyusai who informed me that this Individual was present and claimed that I had somehow abused her in the past, captured her, and attempted to sell her into Slavery to the Corsairs. You all know full well that this is not the case, as I would never harm a woman, let alone a GC, and you my policies on Corsairs.
When I launched my communications drone to investigate myself, Ryoko opened fire on my ship.
The drone went evasive and assaulted her ship, with the intent to destroy it's engines. Once she realised that the drone could overhaul her ship easily, she activated her cruise engines and fled. Lacking a Cruise Disruptor, I was unable to pursue. Sensor recordings from the Drone's wat-cam are attached below.
At this point, Ryoko went to Chugoku and contact was lost. It is possible that she will try to convince the Blood Dragons and Nova-PG that I am a threat. I think those of you here that know me can definitively tell that I would never do such a thing.
Now, I request data on this individual, if you have any. As she claims to be a Chyrsanthemum, I would like to confirm of deny this to aid in the investigation. If we cannot identify her, then we will have to have someone gain her trust, and I will sacrifice myself to give her the Illusion that I am dead. Once she 'kills' me, if she is working for someone willingly, she will probably contact them. I want to know who brainwashed her, who she is working for, willingly or otherwise, and what their intentions are.
We will then respond accordingly, and attempt to rescue this woman is she IS being used against her will...
Konnichiwa Sisters.
Today i decided to go on a patrol into tohoku, to check on that arch.
and by gods i was surprised with what i found, with the assistance of William Crow.
Anyway. i noticed that the arch seems to be powered up once again, with turrets active
But also a shield... surrounding part of the arch as seen from my photographs... http://i252.photobucket.com/albums/hh33/Sh...1/screen164.jpg http://i252.photobucket.com/albums/hh33/Sh...1/screen167.jpg http://i252.photobucket.com/albums/hh33/Sh...1/screen169.jpg
then after carrying on with our patrols we stumbled onto a few nomads... http://i252.photobucket.com/albums/hh33/Sh...1/screen170.jpg
of all things... it made me realize, they seem to be advancing into that system more and more.
I guess tekagi's arch should definately by watched... using ryuku as a base of operations.
We cannot let the nomads take over that station, if they do, im worried that they are starting to gain forces, but moreover... might launch another attack on humanity, i doubt we can survive again, especially with how much, we are as a species are divided.
