Yep. DeiSol, if you don't like it, model one on your own.
But don't go jumping on us with links of some ships that already exist.
We prefer ships made for this mod over ships made for something else.

It is every Corsair's responsibility to die a beautiful death in defense of Crete, regardless of how OORP or how capwhoring the opposition is. Launch your fighter, joust the battlecruisers and die a beautiful death. Then, drink it down in the bar.

That ship is made chiefly for sale as a model to use however the buyer wants to use it,
people who model and upload to TurboSquid are Hobbyists seeking some pocket-change.
All the turrets cannot fire forward in the Lib BC anymore? Thats too bad.
*sigh*
A democracy cannot exist as a permanent form of government. It can only exist until the voters discover that they can vote themselves largesse from the public treasury. From that moment on, the majority always votes for the candidates promising the most benefits from the public treasury with the result that a democracy always collapses over loose fiscal policy, always followed by a dictatorship.
You know, I was right about the ship model I linked to...
it can easily be cut down in polygon count...
and the ship is in several large chunks that can be pulled apart.
the turrets included, can be removed with only a few seconds work.
(and there is EXTREME detail on the ship, so just the turrets alone being removed would cut down on Polys very quickly.
then there is some "lacey" texture stuff that is a separate chunk that can be pulled off which accounts for a ton more polygons.
so this model with only a little work can be turned into a Freelancer compatible ship.

So, give it a shot. If it takes so little work, it should be little problem. I would give it a shot, but I suck at modeling.
A way a lone a last a loved a long the riverrun, past Eve and Adam's, from swerve of shore to bend of bay,
brings us by a commodius vicus of recirculation back to Howth Castle and Environs.
